Sandy Posted December 19, 2011 Author Posted December 19, 2011 Cinna sighed deeply and continued digging. The others were starting to prepare a breakfast when they heard the mage's shrill scream. Huge scarabs started to pour out of the sand right where Cinna was digging. The last of the beetles was coloured golden, just like the scorpion they were after. The party had no option but to fight the bugs that started to nibble their feet. PREPARE FOR BATTLE! Brickdoctor Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 I attack Scarab A from the Back Row. Cinna, why don't you put me first in the order. The normal Scarabs won't attack me because of my Dread Hat, so then one of the others can concentrate on the Golden Scarab and I can take the Free Hit.

The normal Scarabs won't attack me because of my Dread Hat, so then one of the others can concentrate on the Golden Scarab and I can take the Free Hit. That is a valid point. This leaves Bluto free to attack the Golden Scorpion. ooc:(am I controlling Bluto's actions?) Battle Order [updated] Bartholomew Cinna Thormanil Thothwick Bluto Edited December 19, 2011 by darkdragon

Darkdragon Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 Bluto will attack Scarab C from the back row with the Harpoon. I don't think the Dread Hat will stop a free attack, so Thothwick please attack Scarab D.

Brickdoctor Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Wow, nice work, Cinna. If no one else wants it, could I have the shield?
Darkdragon Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 "Well, I guess I took all my digging frustration out on the scarabs. I feel better now, full of energy for digging. Bartholomew, you are welcome to the shield but I don't think you can use it for fighting? We might do better to trade it for items we need from the necromancer. I'll keep the gold bar for now and we'll use it for purchasing, once we complete the quest I will split up any leftover gold (after paying back anyone that's already spent their own gold for quest items). " Cinna stores the gold bar in her pack, hands the shield to Bartholomew, and pulls out her shovel. "Now, back to work." C14
