The_Customizer Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Ok, sounds good! I shall give 1 Rum to the Pirate Wench. If you guys still need help after this, I'll do some actual attacking.
Fred Fred Burger Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Sounds good my Nord friend. I'll attack the Filthy Chimp from the Front Row.
ADHO15 Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 "I do not wish to appear a coward after threatening the seamage with death, but I shall respect the decision of the party and give 1 bottle of rum to the Pirate Seamage."
JimBee Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Hybros faltered to the ground, supporting his small frame with an arm and a knee. The battle was tough, and even worse now that Maurice lay unconscious on the ground next to him. And it was partially his fault, for being so reckless and allowing the Wench to double strike himself and the cleric. He glanced at Maurice, feeling a hint of sympathy. But where did that come from? Hybros had never really cared about anyone but himself, and he wasn't about to change. He pushed these thoughts out of his mind, and became grateful for Eric's quick thinking. Hybros was weak, but he could take a hit from the pirate. "I'll attack the Pirate Ruffian (Blue Bandanna) from the front row with Zoot's Reaper!" Hybros glanced at his scythe with disdain. It was giving an eerie vibe, as usual, but so far it hadn't been very helpful. Or maybe it wasn't the weapon, it was Hybros himself. Maybe he was the unworthy one, not Zoot...

Khorne Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Eric grinned as blood of his foes was splattered all over his face. The party was weakened and had been on the receiving end of many blows. Eric looked to his right and saw Maurice passed out on the floor, bleeding. "One more push", he thought, "and this fight'll be over". Eric blood was still boiling, but he didn't know if he could hold onto his rage much longer. The voice in his head became stronger, as if it were a person nearer to him talking. He glanced at his sword, but then shook his head. Eric will attack Pirate Ruffian (Green Bandana) from the first row. Battle Order: Eric Ad-Hoh Christopher Erdathcath Hybros (potion?)
ADHO15 Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 "I shall melee attack the Pirate Ruffian (Blue Bandana) from the front row."

ADHO15 Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 I shall also attack the Pirate Ruffian (blue Bandana) from the Back Row. Just in case your attack fails, or isn't strong enough. Not like I doubt you or anything.... "That is perfectly fine, young Erdacath. It is quite likely that I will not succeed. I do not move like I used to!"
The_Customizer Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 "That is perfectly fine, young Erdacath. It is quite likely that I will not succeed. I do not move like I used to!" Young? You do realize I am 126 years your elder, correct?
JimBee Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Hybros collapsed to the ground, clinging on by a mere drop of health. He panted heavily as the cut caused by the Ruffian bled viscous black liquid onto the floor. He had failed, and would have to watch as his allies finished the battle. "Heh... *pant*... I will indeed *gasp* drink my grand potion from the back row..."

The_Customizer Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 (edited) Eric, shall i revive Ratibor with my Phoenix Essence? Also, is it fine if I get the 20 gold, as it was stolen from me..... Edited December 15, 2011 by The_Customizer
Khorne Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 The battle was over and the Heroes had been dealt some serious damage. Eric bound some of his wounds with cloth he had ripped from the pirates' clothing. As a Barbarian he had been in situations as this before, so his body adapted quickly. He was about to sheath Godricsleif, much to the displeasure of the sword whose surrounding icy mists began to increase in size, violently floating around the blade. With some effort, Eric finally managed to put the sword back. The Nord looked at the loot they had gained. "Ad-Hoh and Erdathcath will each receive one rum. Maurice should have the banana. Erdathcath, I know you lost a lot of gold, but I think everyone should share some of the reward. You will get 8 gold, the others each get 3. If they want, they can give you their cut to even out your losses. But that their personal coice of course." Division of the loot: Ad-Hoh: one rum, 3 gold Erdathcath: one rum, 8 gold Maurice: banana, 3 gold Christopher: 3 gold Eric: 3 gold "Maybe you shouldn't use your Phoenix essence just yet, Erdathcath. Can't Maurice eat his banana now? Or should we try and feed it to him?"
Etzel Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 OoC: I believe I've woken up now that the battle is over. Maurice comes back to life with tremendous craving for bananas. And how lucky, the party leader gives him one of the yellow delicacies. Maurice will eat the banana at once.
Sandy Posted December 15, 2011 Author Posted December 15, 2011 "Erdathcath, I know you lost a lot of gold, but I think everyone should share some of the reward." OoC: The 20 gold is actually Erdathcath's gold that was stolen by the pirate, but of course you as a party leader can choose to divide it as you see best. I just don't know if The_Customizer appreciates that move. OoC: I believe I've woken up now that the battle is over. OoC: Of course, my mistake. You were automatically revived with 1 health. With the pirates gone from the room, the party can either return to the dining room, go through the door on the opposite side or climb up the stairs. What is the party's chosen action?
Khorne Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Begrudgingly Eric changed his mind and decided to give Erdathcath all of the 20 gold pieces after all. "As your party leader, I'll try to make up for all of you, I promise. Hopefully the next battle will give us more loot and less muggers." the Nord jokingly said. Erdathcath will receive all 20 gold.

Etzel Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 "I think we should continue to explore this floor before going up the stairs, so I vote for going through the door on the opposite side of where we came from."
Khorne Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 "I second Maurice's course of action. As I've said before, we should search this floor first before heading upstairs. We shall head through the door."
The_Customizer Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Thank you Eric. Yes, let's continue on through that door, however, I was thinking, I have a pickaxe, so can I break down locked doors?
Sandy Posted December 15, 2011 Author Posted December 15, 2011 The party goes through the door on the opposite side of the room, and come to a narrow hallway. To their right they see a large wooden door that can be opened from the side they are on. There are dividing corridors on their both sides. Which way will the party continue?
JimBee Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Feeling refreshed from the Grand Potion he drank, Hybros was back up on his feet and followed the party into the corridor. He was a little disappointed to hear that Eric hadn't even taken the imp into account when dividing the loot. He knew he was small, but not unnoticeable. Glad to see Maurice back on his feet, Hybros felt more confident going into the next battle. "I think we should open the wooden door. By the way, there was a frying pan back in the dining hall... perhaps it could've been useful to us?"
Sandy Posted December 16, 2011 Author Posted December 16, 2011 "I think we should open the wooden door." The party opens the door, and finds themselves back on the beach. The door is the same one they ignored upon arriving on the island. The shack lies straight ahead, and muffled voices can still be heard inside. Suddenly the party hears several BOOMs coming from the other side of the island, and then alarm bells start ringing. The Bonaparte fleet has started its diversive attack! The party sees the door of the shack open and six pirates climb down the ladder onto the sand. The group heads towards the doorway that the party stands in. Will the party face the approaching pirates in battle or return inside and find a place to hide?
The_Customizer Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 Argh, should have paid attention to where we were going. Do you guys think we'll have a chance here? I think we should just go back inside and try to find Jolly Roger. OOC: I am gone till about 3:00 PST so go ahead and fight without me. Or just have me attack from the back.
