November 27, 201113 yr i like apple computers better so i'll see if sr3d is available on mac) SR3D is, unfortunately, not available for Mac. But you can join me in pestering Sergio until he gets someone to adapt it to Mac.
November 27, 201113 yr Author @Brickdoctor I wouldnt pester him about it cause i dont like to be annoying. But everything should be made for mac first, that way bill gates can figure out how to copy mac again.
November 27, 201113 yr Here are the i dont have the time to build the whole thing, but i can help if you get stuck. 8110 Building Instructions
November 27, 201113 yr For the moment I can only deal with the first book as MLCad-file. If anybody want's it, I would send it out. Just write me a message... Martin
November 27, 201113 yr Author @Alasdair Ryan Thanks for the link for the instructions. But unfortunately my SR3D is having issues, I've downloaded everything that it needs but it seems that when I insert a part i just gives me the error message saying continue or quit and i click continue and it pops up the same box. @MMR1988 First book is a good start.
November 27, 201113 yr Have you contacted XSergio74 the maker of SR3D with your problem ? XSergio74 Edited November 27, 201113 yr by Alasdair Ryan
November 27, 201113 yr Author @Alasdair Ryan Not yet, I'm going to try to uninstall everything including ldraw and reinstall it and see if it works, as it could just be an issue with my ldraw library.
November 27, 201113 yr Have you tryed the new version? SR3D builder Edited November 27, 201113 yr by Alasdair Ryan
November 27, 201113 yr Author @Alasdiar Ryan I wasn't aware of the new version. I guess I'll have to go over to my desktop and install that version.

If you have any idea about this problem, please let me know. My link When I solve this problem, I will show complete 8110 with nice rendering image. Edited November 28, 201113 yr by widetent
November 28, 201113 yr Author @widetent Thank you so much! You have no idea how much not only I, but alot of others appreciate this. Now we can test our attachments directly before we build them, or for those like me, test our ideas before we even have our own unimog. Now i have to see if i can download this since my sr3d is still having issues. edit: I dont really mind not having the best rendering as long as we have a model. edit 2: and please post the sr3d unimog under the linked forum for everyone to find it, maybe once you do have a nicer rendering! http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=48285&st=120 Edited November 28, 201113 yr by zewy623
November 28, 201113 yr Author @SNIPE I forgot where i had seen it, but there was a whole thing on download issues with the program and how to fix them. I think it might have been under comments on a post on technicbricks

It support only basic gear connection and little complex hinge at the moment. and my model has some location that didn't connect with each other because of tolerance. (in this case, I choose better appearance rather than function) I made this model by alternating SR3D for assembling and MLCAD for flexible pneumatic hose, string, and sticker. November 28, 201113 yr @widetent Can you possibly post a download file? I tried but couldn't attach the file because of global upload quata. (Used 93.64K of your 100K global upload quota (Max. single file size: 6.36K)) It has a big size, 550KB, because of flexible parts by Lsynth. I am sorry to say that I will attache it later if I found a way. Edited November 28, 201113 yr by widetent
