aquapuke Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Hello everyone! I'm browsing this forum for over a year, but since I hope to start building more often and to get involved with lego community a bit more, I decided to join. Here is an MOC that I did, which I'll use as an introductory, inspired by awesome medieval village tutorial (Thank you Derfel Cadarn! ): Story: Somewhere deep in the forest, lives a good natured witch, but peasents and their lord decided that she must be guilty for all their problems and that she must be prosecuted. "Alright people! I'm going in, watch my back!" "Oh look the visitors!" "Retreat! We can't match this kind of power!" "Aaaaaa!" That would be it for now. If you like it, you can check some more pictures here: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/297029 Cheers! Quote

lorax Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 You guys... stop leading him astray... Avalonia is for the weak Aquapuke, your skills would be well placed in Nocturnus. Quote
MikeyB Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 fabulous build! Derfel Cardarm tutorial inspired me to build more MOC too. In fact I started the Defrel Cadarn Appreciation Society I like the railing on the balcony and likely will borrow a few other elements. Avalon Guild would be honored to have you join. Quote
Derfel Cadarn Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Well done, this is an excellent build! Great work on the house, I love the many details you have added in, you have created a great effect. The house really looks old and full of character. The surrounding landscape is also nicely done and has so much to catch the eye. Really great work, Im very happy to know my guide has given you some inspiration! Keep up the great work DC Quote
TomTheTruckdriver Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Very impressive! So many details to admire and a nice story to go along with it. Looking forward to more from you! Quote
Basiliscus Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Absolutely gorgeous. If this is your first MOC, I can't to wait to see your future ones! Quote

ZCerberus Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 I can see the Derfel influence, but you certainly added your own personality here. Really excellent work. I love the "grill" plates on the shutters. Most excellent. Come to the grasslands brother and join mighty Avalonia. Quote
I Scream Clone Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 An amazing introduction! I just love how Derfel has been able to inspire so many people to produce top quality MOCs. Welcome to Eurobricks and hope you enjoy all the Historica mayhem too! Quote
