I called a few weeks ago about a replacement sticker, and they shot me down. Why can't they just email an image so I can print it!? That's some pretty awful support for out-of-print stickers.

I'm sure there are licensing issues that prevent them from just sending out images, not to mention that Customer Support probably doesn't have any way to get the digital images from the stickers. When I place orders with the US customer service the actual stickers get shipped from Denmark.

Head over to Cuusoo and support the project, if we can get 10,000 people to support it, Lego promises to do an official review of the feasibility of going forward with it.

If I don't cover stickers you're interested in, just leave a comment and I'll amend the project.

How old are the stickers? If they are just from a year or so ago they should be able to send them, but if they are from, say, when LEGO first started with Star Wars, it might be harder to get images of them.

I think that Lego only recently sold out of their back stock of the 10030 stickers.* So it could be that they just haven't considered a plan yet. I would think that running a batch of stickers, even if only for replacement part stock, would be tremendously cheaper than firing up molds for new pieces that aren't otherwise being used anywhere. It seems like something Lego might do.

* This is based on a recent experience of mine. I purchased a 10030 about 8 months ago that had an opened box, but unopened everything else. It arrived short the sticker, which presumably disappeared somewhere while being packed. I offered to take a $30 discount from the seller, since that was the going rate on Bricklink at the time. But he checked into it, declined, and sent a replacement separately - IIRC, he said he got the replacement sticker direct from Lego. Again, that was only 8 months ago. So the original run of stickers seems to have lasted quite a while.
