XimenaPaulina Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Good riddance to the Pieman! But I'm quite disappointed about Dr. Crane, and let us not put all the blame on Creeps, I myself have had a hand in falsely accusing Scarecrow. But at least he did go out with dignity and did not throw an immature tantrum with unnecessary religious swearing. I really hope we'll nail the last one (or two?) of these scum agents, and hopefully some of our night action results will somehow clarify things better.
Capt. Redblade Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Hooray, progress! My guess is there can't be more than one or two scum left (assuming conversions). Let's find the others and get us that nuke! Nuke, be a killer tonight! Nuke, be a killer tonight! Nuke, if you've been a killer to begin with Nuke, be a killer tonight! Nuke, let a Kaznian see Just how deadly your payload be! I know the way you've blown up other states you've been with Nuke, be a killer with meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Brickdoctor Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Disclaimer: I'm not accusing anyone of being Scum (yet), I just want to throw this out there because it's been bugging me. It's probably no secret that I've been annoyed by the behavior of some sheep throughout this game. (no names - you know who you are and I'm not discussing any of you in this statement) I'm not sure if I'm just being bugged by more sheep-ish behavior or not, but in any case... Hooray, progress! This is the kind of behavior that I find suspicious. Let's break down this statement by the Music Meister: First, he gives the common obvious remark concerning the last Day's lynch, which everyone does, so it would appear that there's nothing significant there. Next, he says a bit of information concerning the probably remaining number of Scum. That looks helpful, but in reality, it's something that anyone who's been paying attention and doing math could have figured out. After that, he makes a comment about finding the other Scum and winning the game, which is what all of us Townies want to do, but he makes no mention of how he's going to help us do that. Sheep-ish-tell. (is that an actual term? ) Lastly, he presents a bit of poetry, which probably took a lot more work than the rest of his statement and makes it look like he put a lot of effort into his statement. In short, to me it appears that he tries makes himself look helpful, he states something obvious and sheep-like, and then he states something to make himself look like he's putting a lot of effort into this and at the same time distracts you from everything else he's said. And some other things he's said throughout this situation: On Day One, he makes twelve statements, all either related to role-playing, the number of Scum, or the necessity of the vote. The first is distracting. The second is something that anyone who does his research properly on these types of situations could know, and despite the fact that the Ventriloquist turned out to be Scum, I think people overreacted concerning that. The last is probably helpful, but at the same time, it doesn't hurt the Scum for one of their own to state it. In fact, it would usually help them, since Day 1 votes usually end in Townie lynches. (this one didn't, but I think that's beside the point) On Day Two, he makes only two statements. The first is nothing but role-playing and a comment about the Day 1 lynch. The second states that he trust Creeper and will follow him. Both sheep-ish. On Day Three, he makes five statements. The first three are just to agree with someone else. The fourth explains why he didn't vote for the suspect everyone else was, which, I concede, isn't sheep-like and, in retrospect, was also for a Scum. The fifth is a friendly joke, nothing wrong with that. Then, Yesterday, he makes again only two statements, the first being a comment on the lynch and a piece of poetry and the second being an 'I agree with Creeper' statement. To me, this looks like he came into the situation trying very hard to look like a pro-active helpful Townie, and then it sort of trails off. Almost like losing interest in the situation as Scum partners were eliminated. I'm thinking he's looking pretty scummy. Remember that true Townies don't try to look like Townies because they are. Am I just letting sheep-ness get to me?
The Penguin Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Music Meister, have you ever considered working for me in Iceberg Lounge? I mean with a voice like that you could attract even more customers! Waugh-waugh!
Oky Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Wow, that's quite a rant there, Mask. And none of it is very helpful as sheepishness doesn't necessarily mean scumminess. Perhaps it is you who is trying to distract from what actually matters? And what are these "townies" and roleplays you keep talking about? I think you have your mind inside one of those books of yours. Nah, just kidding. I'm also wondering about the...unusual...method the killer used to kill Scarecrow. Same here. It almost looks as if Crane was bitten to death. The prime suspect for such a kill would be Man-Bat, but I don't think that would be enough reason to accuse him of anything. Then again, the way Ventriloquist died last night pointed to him as well... By the way, I am growing more and more suspicious of Ra's Al Ghul's quietness.

I also stated that Music Meister has done things which make me think that he is trying to look helpful, which isn't a trait of a sheep - they just aren't helpful at all. Sheepishness is not something I would lynch someone on in most cases, but it's a factor that when combined with the other things I've noticed about Music Meister makes me think he might be Scum.
badboytje88 Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Well why would we try to unmask the vigilante? He's been working with us for the past few days and sure isn't on my suspect list.
Jedi master Brick Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 We got another agent . Two-face has been in-active so he could be trying to fly under the radar. Mr. Freeze has only got more active as the game has gone on, possibly trying to pick up the slack of 4 dead scum.
def Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Why don't you guys consider that some 'quiet sheep' are working very hard with me behind the scenes? Why squabble like this? Just relax a little I'll have you know we have an investigator still. They've cleared a few, which only means so much in a situation where some scum can read as Criminal, but we have found another filthy agent, who goes by the name of Mr. Zsasz! Now, let us heckle and ridicule him until we finally put him out of his mercy with a bullet to the head
Brickdoctor Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Why don't you guys consider that some 'quiet sheep' are working very hard with me behind the scenes? Why squabble like this? Just relax a little Admittedly, I hadn't considered that, and I'll trust that you're telling the truth about it. Chalk it up as another sheep bugging me with his public behavior, I guess. I'll have you know we have an investigator still. They've cleared a few, which only means so much in a situation where some scum can read as Criminal, but we have found another filthy agent, who goes by the name of Mr. Zsasz! Now, let us heckle and ridicule him until we finally put him out of his mercy with a bullet to the head [/color] That's not exactly going to snap the sheep out of their sheepish behavior the way I hope they will, but I'll take it. I assume this is a result from a trusted someone else who's proven (as much as anything can be reasonably proven in these situations) that he's getting accurate results?
def Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 I'm not going to bet my life on it, but it's a fair enough chance. The info I got from this person before was reliable, and I can always throw him under the bus if he's wrong
XimenaPaulina Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Another good night of info-gathering Creeps! Looks like we'll have Scum Agent #5 ready to be lynched.
Oky Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Interesting. I've had a feeling about Zsasz for a while now, but haven't been able to find any good evidence against him, so I'm curious to hear your reasoning for this accusation.
K-Nut Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Well, I've been a little suspicious of Zsasz, and Creeper hasn't led us wrong yet for a lynch. I'll wait for Zsasz to explain, if there's no reason to believe him in his innocence, we've got our lynch for today.
badboytje88 Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Well why would we try to unmask the vigilante? He's been working with us for the past few days and sure isn't on my suspect list. (ooops)

Dear criminals, It has come to my attention today that one of our criminal cohorts, the one and only king of the cold, the sultan of shiver himself, Mr. Freeze, has never been given the chance to learn his own native language Isn't this, my friends, the real crime? That one such as this could have fallen through the cracks of Gotham's education system. I will be taking up a collection dish in order to accumulate enough funds to send dear Mr. Freeze to a remedial high school English class. Please give generously, won't you?
Tamamono Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 I never said that sheepishness meant scumminess. Sheepishness is not something I would lynch someone on in most cases, but it's a factor that when combined with the other things I've noticed about Music Meister makes me think he might be Scum. You know, Music Meister really is rather suspicious, but he was one of the early voters for Catwoman, and this isn't the first time a character like him has been suspicious. I'll have you know we have an investigator still. They've cleared a few, which only means so much in a situation where some scum can read as Criminal, but we have found another filthy agent, who goes by the name of Mr. Zsasz! TheBoyWonder Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Well done Creeps! If Zsasz is a scumbag, he should be our last. And Poison Ivy, why would you say we were unmasking the Vigilante?
Brickdoctor Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Interesting. I've had a feeling about Zsasz for a while now, but haven't been able to find any good evidence against him, so I'm curious to hear your reasoning for this accusation. Huh? Is any reasoning needed? It's a claimed investigation result. And Poison Ivy, why would you say we were unmasking the Vigilante? Because Freeze and I were wondering out loud about the unusual nature of the kill last Night. Poison Ivy is pointing out that that's probably the vigilante's doing, so he's on our side. (though he could be an SK)

badboytje88 Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Just pointing out the sheep and yelling at them isn't very helpful either!
Jedi master Brick Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Two face has made about 2-3 posts a day, one about the lynch, one sheepishly agrreing with everything the Creeper says and one to vote. He has only had so far the odd acustion from the Creeper, so he could be flying under the radar. I know he is here because of Heroica I see him round the place. After todays lynch he could be the next target
TheBoyWonder Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Sheep If you think he is suspicious tells us and don't be a sheep Don't call them sheep. They had a suspicion about him, but Creeper had a strong hunch/ somehow knew about the scumbags. Would you rather lynch someone who made a couple suspicious, or someone who has strong evidence against them? And wait, What's to say that we may Lynch the Final agent today? Ventriloquist (Scum Doctor), Deadshot (Scum Day Killer), Catwoman (Suspect thieving ability) and Simon the Pieman (Scum Inventor of pies/blocker), 4 Scum. If there is 5, we may have the last. Two Face will be investigated probably.
Alopex Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 We killed that scummy Pie-Man!!! Coooool!!! Sad poor scarecrow died though... Hug me Mr. J!!! Its good we've got solid evidence today though!!! These task things sound interesting, will everybody get one?!?
Nightshroud99 Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Good job, Creeper! Those scummies will be gone before we know it! I am really not the type of person to make long discussions, I stay in the background waiting and thinking of my next move. So for one minute perhaps everyone could stop drinking the Creepers' Kool-aid and think!! Why am I scum? Because the Creeps says so? Whatever he says is law apparently, he is a demigod to you folks; and perhaps rightly so as he has been correct about almost everyone... But, perchance that this is HIS plan. He purposely votes out a couple of his scummy teammates; they even agree. He becomes a trusted source who can do no wrong. So people believe what he says. However, let us reflect on yesterdays discussion. Scarecrow, a now confirmed townie, was still suspicious of the Creeps, and what happens? He dies in the night!!! I'm guessing that Creeper sent Man-Bat (either vigilante or scum killer) to kill scarecrow. Creeper has you all wrapped around his finger, and only need to say the word and you will kill for him. Lets scry into the future and see what happens tomorrow. I'm confirmed town, Creeper says that perhaps his imaginary investigator was paranoid. and then nothing happens! Creeper will suggest another innocent to kill and perhaps use Man-bat again to kill at night. (I'm guessing it was Man-Bat that did the killings based on how the people were killed, similar to how Deadshot made his mark.)
