ROMAN Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 Hi Have any of you guys/girls got tattoos,I have got a few but I want a lego tattoo now :-) *vader* Quote
The Hordesman Posted May 5, 2006 Posted May 5, 2006 Dude thats great! Is it yours? Nicely-diddely. Hey people, whats wrong with a LEGO tattoo? Atleasts its better for short-period stuff like Unreal Tournament or Diablo... ;-) Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted May 5, 2006 Posted May 5, 2006 I have "Greatest" written in chinese across my right shoulder Ok that was kind of irrellevent but I thought I'd share :-P Quote
Black Sparrow Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 Haha! Thats funny, If i were aloud to have a tatoo, I would get one. Quote
captaintau Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 I can't have tattoos as I do Japanese Martial Arts. Quote
Lord Thrawn Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 But that lovely pic of you in your avatar... Quote
captaintau Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 But that lovely pic of you in your avatar... Ah, but Lord Maul is a practitioner of Teras Kasi - galactic Martial Arts, not Japanese Martial Arts. Quote
jonfett Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 Found this one on Brickshelf.. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1376740 .. on a woman!! Jon. Quote
Izzy Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 Time to bump a really old topic! But I recently got my first tattoo and wanted to share a bit of the experience. This is where I got it done, a small tattoo place in Munkebäck (Gothenburg, Sweden) Here is a shot of me actually getting inked, I can't show you my face (as it was not even in the frame) because I was in too much pain. The finished product! A 2x2 on my right wrist! It is a fraction larger than a real brick. And before anyone asks, no I am not going to get it coloured... yet. Quote
Ras 74 Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 Very, very nice one Iz. I got a LEGO tatto too. But I have it on my left wrist. Quote
CDC Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 I dont have any tattoos yet, but i might get it someday. Definitely a LEGO one Probably not getting any star wars ones, but these look pretty nice, especially the first one. Quote
Omicron Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 I don't have any Lego tattoos yet, but I do have 3 tattoos already. Click pics to enlarge The first one is a wolf howling at the moon in the forest. You can't tell from the pic but there is also a wolf in the moon. The second is the Cloudy Wolf symbol from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. The third if the FOX emblem from Metal Gear Solid 3. As you can tell I have a thing for wolves/foxes, and my next tattoo will be the Wolfpack logo. -Omi Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 Very, very nice one Iz. I got a LEGO tatto too.But I have it on my left wrist. Very nice both of you...Any story to the matching tatoos or do we have to wait for the interview? Quote
JimBee Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 Badass hardcore Lego fans unite! Can't wait for the story behind your tattoos, Iz and Ras. No, I don't have any tattoos, nor do I plan on ever getting any. IMHO, they're gross. I just don't want to deform my skin permanently like that, and when you get old and wrinkly, so do your tats. Quote
dr_spock Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 No tattoo for me. Don't want any identifying marks in case I have to disappear. Jon, that looks like Janey Brick's tattoos. Quote
Erdbeereis Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 Definitely not. I'm with you Jim, never have liked them and never will. Quote
RileyC Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 Haha hopefully when Im old enough Well Im not exactly sure. If I was going to get one it would have to be something significant in my life and I wouldn't regret it later on in life. It definitely would be something to do with lego or star wars. Quote
The Crazy One Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 I have to say I hate them. I just can't bare the thuoght of one. Deffinatley a no no for me. Quote
def Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 I have a Thai Buddha on my shoulder I got in Bangkok after a woolly two weeks a number of years back. No regrets, though I forget it's there sometimes. Don't knock'em till you try'em. Quote
Big Cam Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 I've always wanted a tatoo but then I remembered that I'm an idiot. In ten years when I look back at things I thought were cool ten years ago, I realize they were not, and I was an idiot for thinking so. Hence tattoos today are regrets ten years down the road. Now a simple LEGO brick I can kind of understand since "hopefully" you will remain an AFOL for life, but most tattoo's end up being regretful ideas in time. IMO. Quote
Erdbeereis Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 Yes, while I don't like any tattoos, I agree that it's one thing to have a small one in a not so obvious place, but it's another to have your whole arm covered. Those are much more difficult to forget about. I prefer less permanent ways to express myself. For example, to express my love for LEGO I have a LEGO logo keychain on my Swiss Army Knife. Quote
Sir Dillon Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 The second is the Cloudy Wolf symbol from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. That one is very cool! Great tattoo idea. Quote
