After seeing AllanSmith's red Mack truck, it got me thinking.

What did every boy (and girl?) who grew up in the 80s want?

Not real happy with the car though, the windscreen needs to be lower, but not sure if that's possible in 4 wide.

Now to get the parts to build it.

One of my favourite shows as a child (along with the A-Team), they had re-runs last year and I did not realise how dated the show is compared to what we see on tv today. Great design, you hit it spot on.

Great! Both vehicles are very well designed, together they look awesome. There are some 4-wide K.I.T.T.s, I've just seen one with trans cheese slopes as windscreen, but your solution works very well, too, and it surely is better if you want to fit a minihoff in

Looking forward to seeing it brick built!

Nice truck and car.

Seems like you have used the "Windscreen 3 x 4 x 1 1/3 Large Glass Surface" part 57783. This is 1 brick and one plate high.

You could try using the part nr 6238 "Windscreen 4 x 4 x 1", it is only 1 brick high.

Another option is too use the part nr x453 "Windscreen 2 x 4 x 1 Curved Front", this is also only 1 brick high but has a curved and a little steeper front.

Hope this help...

Very cool! I loved watching Knight Rider re-runs as a kid, and tried to make my own KITT MOC back then. I seem to remember it was mostly black, had a printed grille and er.....big red wheels that stuck out to the side

I like the scale you've built it at, and it looks like a true classic town set with a slight modern twist, though I personally would have used slightly larger tires, though I expect they'd throw off the scale a little. The truck is nice too, I especially like the simple yet effective pinstriping effect down the side.

Nice! The car´s roof is too blocky for me...
