UsernameMDM Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 (edited) Something about the baby dragon caught Hoke's attention. Hoke uses his Diplomacy Skill. "Good merchant, would you trade the baby dragon for this rare hollow blade dagger? I have never seen it for sale save once. I am open to any counter off you may propose. I may perhaps purchase a stone or two, depending on the deal for the baby dragon. Do the stones work on shields?" Edited December 19, 2011 by UsernameMDM Quote
Zepher Posted December 19, 2011 Author Posted December 19, 2011 "Do you know nothing about haggling... Mr... Mr... mister?" The vendor gives Felton a strange look. "Well, I can't recall your name currently, but if you're going to haggle, start with a low offer and then work your way up." Luckily Hoke's natural charm helps. "I'm having a clearance sale, numb-brain, I can't buy more merchandise. I will, however, lower the price of the dragon to 175, but that's as low as I'm willing to go." Quote

"Being an adventurous merchant, I am sure you can find a customer to pay top coin for this dagger, or are we the only customers you plan on seeing? How about a stone and the dragon for the dagger and 100 gold? You could perhaps sell the dagger to one of my quest mates." Edited December 19, 2011 by UsernameMDM Quote

Peppermint_M Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 Tesni looked at the wears and checked what she herself had, nothing was of use here to her, but if Hoke needed it she would loan him the money for the baby dragon, she held her tounge, maybe he could haggle it down further. Quote

We dragons can sense evil in the energy pools... much like the ether that you humanoids use, we are connected to the spiritual world. The knight is an honorable man and I am sure that he shall see you on your way, but we are in need of secrecy at the moment for our enemies are numerous and if we are to keep this evil from spreadin' to lands such as yer's then we must end it here.> Turning to his companions Skrall addresses them, "Fire lizard is called Vipera Callidus the Young. And luckily, it takes no time, as my race is quick. Of course, since this Knight bought me, he will be the one to decide when I use it." <The Gift of the Dragon makes the hero lucky (2 rolls) and blessed (at the end of each round, there is a 50% chance of being healed). Furthermore, as Vipera Callidus is using it, the heroes need not use up a turn when using it, and it may be activited at any point.
