I came to this place because I have no home, the village of my childhood was no home. A home is full of family and joy, security and love is it not? There was nothing for me there but fear and pain. When I first stepped off the ferry a fishmonger said 'Good Morning', this seems insignificant to you, but to my memory that was the first time I'd ever been greeted with cheer and friendship. You are one of the first friends I have ever had, let us not destroy our friendship.

And you know what? That damn sword isn't helping, it twists your words, changes you. You are being manipulated by that weapon, let me help you, I can aid you in understanding it. A sword is a weapon, it should not have domiance over you, let me help you controll it.

The seperation from her blade was beginning to sting, although a barely perceptable soothing whisper came through to her, it was clear that the Chaotic Darkness was hurting Cysgodion to the core. As the sensation rose, Tesni worked too keep signs of the pain from herself, it felt like her arm had been taken..

I also will let my full health be drained. But Haldor, you're positive you can't revive me if she takes all my... life force, as you say?

"Dyric if she drains all your life force there will not be anything left to revive. Both of us together equals 33, we only need 17 more. Skrall, Tesni, would you like to donate?

Skrall had been taken aback by the boldness of the woman, but she had obviously shown how adept she was in the magical arts. It struck him that somewhere he had seen this mystical woman before ,many years before in fact, but he couldn't remember all of the details at the time. Skrall attempted to inform Sir Poletad of the situation.

<Well the witch want's us ta sacrifice ya in return for transportin' us ahead to our destination, it's either that or we sacrifice our own health for the task. I leave the choice up to ya, I promise what ya say will stand, and if it's all the same ta ya I'd rather we made out on our own without her help, who knows what she could be hidin' up her sleeve. By this time Haldor and Tensi's argument had grown loud enough to make Skrall lose his concentration on the amphibean tongue and thus he let's out a bellow, "Enough of this! I have heard enough sob stories to drown a dragon. We've all experienced pain an' sufferin' of some sorts and we all think we've had it the hardest, believe ya me I've seen my fair share as well. But I'm done with it all, now grow up, put the past behind ya and focus on the task ahead. Haldor, Ms. Hightribe is right Sir Poletad would be the most logical choice, but I will leave it up to him.

Now you, Ms. Wren, since ya seem to be all knowin', what exactly are ya sparin' us from by transportin' us straight to the jail?"

Wren turns to Skrall first, and addresses him in the amphibian tongue.

"Do you think that your poor suspended friend is any different then the rest of you? He is lucky he is frozen, it is saving his life. He would try to be brave and offer himself up if he could speak, but I can tell what he is thinking, and he is terrified. Thank you for telling those two to be quiet by the way, they were bothering me terribly."

She then turned to the arguing heroes.

"Haldor, quiet yourself. You are selfish, insecure and boring and you do not retain my interest, nor Jess'. Furthermore you make assumptions ofb ones character without thought. Ms. Hightribe, stick to your beliefs, you are starting to see the truth. But do not call me Zoot's witch. It will not be tolerated a second time. You are wiser than that. You are your blade's possession, but I do not belong to the one I serve. Do not make the same mistakes as Haldor, you know there is more to know about me. Mr. Rone, I need not share my thoughts on you."

Tesni, Skrall, Hoke, and Dyric are my friends, do you know what that word means Wren? I would die for these people especialy Jess, yet you call me selfish, I have not acted for my personal gain. Wren, you used to be a Hero, yet you turned into a trickster who bathes in chaos. But there is always light in the darkest of places, Wren there is hope for you. If you try I'm sure you can still return to the life you left. Maybe when this is over we can help you.

Skrall I respect your descison, friend. Let us go now in peace Wren, I am certain we will meet again."

Haldor thinks of Jess, then his thoughts turn to Wren. Why did she turn? Who twisted her into what she was standing before them. He walks over and stands by Tesni, fondling his glowing blue crystal.

OoC: Just to move things along, if we really must make a decision, we will not be sacrificing Sir Poletad. So Haldor, Dyric, and myself is equal to 19+15+12=46 + 4 ether from Haldor = 50 total.

Wren drains the heroes of their health and ether, and they arrive in a prison. The heroes hardly get a second to recover before a jail guard bears down on them.

The man nearly charged headlong into Tesni, quite a bit taller of the two (as many men who take jail jobs always seemed to be small...) she grinned down at him. Intimidation seemed llike it would not work, so she swiped at him with Cysgodion from the front row.

Haldor... I could use your abilities... right about now.

I attack the Jail Keep from the Back Row with a Throwing Knife.

"Nothing to do buy heal Skrall from the back row. I'll heal Dyric next round, then me after.

Hit him hard Tesni!"

Haldor shouts more encouragement despit him feeling like he's been torn in half.

Does healing from the back row only heal half as much?
