Just want to make sure I don't miss them Thanks, Mike They are most likely not coming back. 8038 was already sold out earlier this year, but Lego appears to have produced one last batch due to popular demand, if it's now gone again then it's most likely gone for good. As for 8097 I wouldn't be surpised if it will be discontinued, as most of the Star Wars sets from the summer line of 2010 appear to either have already suffered or is about to suffer the same fate. Either one of those I'd get a hold of as soon as possible, they are both great sets.
December 8, 201113 yr Endor's been on retirement watch for a while now. Get it ASAP. Slave I is a year newer, so it's likely to disappear next year sometime. There's no way of knowing how long sets will stick around...usually two years but some stick around forever like the Death Star or the recently replaced X-wing.
December 8, 201113 yr They're both still available in the UK, via the official Lego website: 8038 & 8097 Both great sets, especially if you can get them at a discount!!
December 8, 201113 yr If there is an official Lego store near your location, it is good to check them out. I have seen both sets when my new local Lego Store opened in October. They had the Endor set on display for a while too. However, I haven't been paying attention to these two sets, so I'm not sure if they are sold out in my local Lego Store.

December 8, 201113 yr In the UK the biggest department store slashed the price of Slave 1 by over 50% and has disappeared from their site. You can still get it direct from Lego but I think it will start to become much more scarce now
