Captain Green Hair Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Since every town should have at least 1 bus, I decided mine needed a 1955 GMC bus. So here it is: I need some more of the lettered tiles, but dude was the coolest place I could make it drive to for now. A shot from the other side. It doesn't have a real interior, but I was able to put some minifigs in for appearance. Too bad only the driver is seen in the pictures. And a shot from the rear. And a birds eye. I'm not too sure about the colour scheme, I might change the yellow for old dark gray in the future. I also thought up some more small detail to add, but I'm happy for now. This was one of the most complex cars I've ever build, so I hope you like it. All the best! -CGH Quote
AussieJimbo Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Top job, CGH. Looks great. Reminds me of some of the old buses they used to have in Sydney. :classic: Quote
Pally Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Well done, I don''t mind the yellow. But old gray will also be fine I think. Quote
HighFlyer Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 I love how realistic this is, and I love the colour scheme!! Quote
soundwave_sw Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Very nice bus! Great use of the small white windows. The only thing missing is the series 7 hippie as the bus driver. Quote
lightningtiger Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Dude, oh that was cool to have on the front of this fantastic piece of SNOT work.....heading to the beach is it ? I the design and most of all the bright summer colours....I would say it would be heading to the beach....with surf boards hanging out the back windows. Great work 'Captain Green Hair' and Brick On Bus On ! Quote
gcanik Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Definitly has that old feel to it - good job Quote
alois Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 All the buses I knew in my childhood were yellow and white - so I don't mind this colour scheme at all. I'm impressed with this bus, and was even more impressed when I realised the whole lower part is built in snot. A nice addition to any Lego town. Quote
ER0L Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Very nice SNOT work, color scheme and overall shape. It has a very distinct and appealing style. I like it a lot! Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 Very nice bus 'Cpt. G H'! Excellent job on this detailed build. I really like the work on the rear. You did wonderfully making it look straight out of the 50's. Keep up your great MOCs Quote

Vincent Kessels Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 That is a beautiful bus, Captain. The yellow color is great. It reminds me too of old busses. Now I see only Lime Green buses. Quote
Ricecracker Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 hey dude who stole my bus lol, nice moc, what's up with the moc comment What? Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted December 17, 2011 Author Posted December 17, 2011 Thanks for all the kind words guys, I'm actually more comfortable with my colour scheme now. MOC means ''My Own Creation'' Brickmamba. Quote
