Not to try and get to many people excited.. but this year marks the 25th anniversary for the Nightmare Before Christmas movie. Perhaps we may get a set in the winter wave to tie in with this.. ? As much as I would love to see a whole line based on this series, I could see getting a small set or even a polybag set.

Wait, you don't know that @Falconfan1414 had previously said that there may indeed be a set based upon that film coming this year?

Yup I think I read that. I just recalled it being the 25th anniversary of the movie. Its hard to say what will happen. My instincts tell me that we wont get anything though unfortunately.. but time will tell.

We are getting a 25th anniversary set for Jurassic Park, so you never know. Obviously JP has the benefit of having both JP3 and JW/JWFK Sets to establish a well-earning theme, but still you never know

It's been 2 months since we first heard about the Nightmare Before Chritsmas rumors.

Whatever happened with those sets? I mean, we should know something by now, right?

Same with those Ghostbusters and Back to the Future sets, as I was most curious to hear what the latter was exactly going to be. I'm still thinking the BTTF one is going to be a UCS scale DeLorean, much in line with the second BTTF Ideas project that was rejected.

Now, didn't @Falconfan1414 say he wasn't certain these three sets were coming, as in that they may have been shelved or pushed back to 2019?

Are you just aware of the sets as placeholders, or do you now know what they are specifically?

What I am allowed to say is these licences are coming just it might not be in ways u expected that’s all I’m allowed to say at the moment

Ahhhh so they will appear as cameos in THE LEGO MOVIE SEQUEL, like Batman did in the first one or the Wicked Witch in the Batman movie

When you put it that way, it sounds like these are going to be BrickHeadz. :look:

With The Nightmare Before Christmas, I don't think that will be likely since it's a Disney property.

As a single two pack, or two separate sets?

Does this say the same for the Ghostbusters and Nightmare Before Christmas sets too?

Duel packs and I wouldn’t get your hopes up for anything other than brickheadz

Well that’s a huge dissapointment. Do the Brickheadz actually sell? I’ve only ever seen them shelf-warming and on clearance

Well, there sure are a lot of them already, that's for certain, and it really doesn't seem like they will be slowing down any time soon either. If you think about it, they're a quick and easy way for Lego to offer a contribution to any currently relevant and prevalent licensed property without needing to design minifigures, playsets, and therefore an entire theme for whatever it may be. They have a systematic design formula that need perhaps only one designer and a graphics artist to create a single set. Also, they make for a quick and easy gift-with-purchase set when needed too.

But then again, there will be so much in the near future that has my interest right now, i really don't know what to choose.
