One thing I have just remembered is that the woman, whoever she was, had two-colour hair: mostly brown with lighter brown or blonde highlights round the front edges, which I think is a first for a minifig. Two toned hair. It is DEFNITELY Narcissa Malfoy. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 (edited) Thanks for the news everyone! So we're getting Narcissa, Ernie and Professor Sprout, which is satisfying I'd say (one brand new minifig in every set). The new versions of Neville and Stan are welcome as well Now I only wonder whether we'll be getting new animals (a revamped Grim and Nagini would be great ) Edited January 27, 2011 by Lego-Freak Quote
Kyp Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 a big thanks to all of you for all the great new infos. I am so freaking happy that we get sprout, also my wallet is silently crying because of the Price for Diagon ally and the prices for the sets to come. I don't want to say they are unfairly priced because i really think they aren't, the problem is I'm just a poor poor student :D. But the Diagon Ally was so worth it, and these sets will surly be too! At least you HAVE Diagon Alley; I haven't even been able to get it yet; I crashed my car last week; all the funds for my Diagon Alley went to car repairs. Sigh. ~t7_c Quote
10or Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 Good haul! It is nice to see that we are getting more female characters! The Battle of Hogwarts sounds cool! I really hope it connects to Hogwarts! I hope bigger Potter fans went to this and can give us some more info Quote
Haltiamieli Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 No centaur Yeah, that was my reaction too... But looking at the bright side, I save money as I don't have any need to buy HP sets this year. And these sound good enough for HP enthusiasts so everyone can be happy, more or less. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 No centaur And no animals, not even the Grim Well, maybe Huw just overlooked them Quote

However, I'm also wondering which hairpiece they'll use... possibly the new PotC Elizabeth Swann one? Quote
10or Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 (edited) I think that it is good that they didn't include a Narcissa in Diagon Alley. Do you think there will be new faces for the trio and Voldemort? A Voldemort like in the LEGO OotP poster? And the trio with cuts on their faces? Also do you think the student in the Battle of Hogwarts would be in their uniform, since seeing the pics leaked from the movie shows them all in regular clothes? Edited January 28, 2011 by 10or Quote

No, I don't think they'll have new faces for those minifigs. I mean it's still the same "series", and they only change the figs when it's a whole new film. And if they're wearing ordinary clothes, then the figs will be, too. Quote
Ravenxl7 Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Finally got myself one of the 2010 sets while at Target today (the Freeing Dobby set), and I was thinking about this years new sets while putting it together. Since the Battle for Hogwarts set contains "two towers and an entrance", wouldn't it be epic of one of the towers was Ravenclaw tower? It's integral to the plot in DH, so it would definitely make sense. Would also make sense if the set is meant to connect to last year's castle set. Given that it sounds like the set will contain both Pr. Sprout and Neville, I'm really hoping they give us at least one mandrake, and at least one tentacula (though the more the merrier). Quote
10or Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 I agree that a Ravenclaw common room would be cool to be included in one of the towers. The same as the RoR with a secret entrance. Maybe even the new location of Snape's death. Quote

Maybe even the new location of Snape's death. Well i guess you could say that its likely to be included as a room as it is a deathly hallows set. And I wonder what other rooms will be included, obviously it wont be the scale as the last hogwarts, but still Id imagine the archeteture would be similar and that it would sit well with previous castle. And I have to say it would be awesome with a nagini And you'd think that the Battle of Hogwarts would come with a few more "bad guys" than just a voldemort at least one other I think well just have to wait for the New York Toy Fair in February for clarification Edited January 29, 2011 by giggitygoo Quote

Harrypotterfreak Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 This is my first post on eurobricks!! Yay!! Anyway, these are the minifigs i know for a fact are in the new sets. Sprout, Harry, Neville, Narcissa, Voldemort, Stan Shunpike, and Ernie Prang. I highly doubt Sirius will be in any of these. It is safe to say though, that Slughorn and Flitwick and maybe mcgonnogal will be in the battle for hogwarts set, as they all had key parts during the fight in the book. Perhaps, (hopefully), Trelawney will make a surprise vist in the set too. I pray that Fang will be in the Forrest set, but deep inside i know it will not happen. :( i am excited for Narcissa, though. Other then Narcissa, i don't think the FF set will be that great. Just like the Knight bus, i don't think it will be that awesome except for the new Ernie. So, i'm most excited for the battle for hogwarts. Quote
Ravenxl7 Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 (edited) I can't see Flitwick or McGonagal showing up in the Battle for Hogwarts set, tbh. Would be nice, but they're inclusion in last years castle set makes it unlikely they'll be in this years set. Slughorn would be interesting, but there's several other characters I'd rather see instead of him. Although Snape is pretty much confirmed for it, via the leaked picture. Oddly enough I can't find any mention of Voldemort being in any of the sets. Though I imagine he'll at least be in the Battle for Hogwarts set, if not also in the Forbidden Forest set. Hopefully we'll get some pictures from the Nuremburg Toy Fair, which I've heard is a bit more lax when it comes to picture taking. Also seems to be one of the longest ones, as it starts on the third, and doesn't end till the eighth. That's twice as long as the New York Toy Fair. I'm really looking forward to all three sets, but so far, the Knight Bus sounds the most promising. I just really hope that the shrunken head (really need to come up with a name for him) ends up as more than just printing on the windshield. Edited January 30, 2011 by Ravenxl7 Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 (edited) According to an Italian store, the prices look like this: 4865 -> 15€ 4866 -> 40€ 4867 -> 60€ Not really surprising, those match the box sizes that were indicated in the catalogue perfectly Source: http://www.enjoyrsm.com/default.asp?cmd=getProd&cmdID=30337&idC=1003 Edited January 30, 2011 by Lego-Freak Quote

When I go on it doesn't have the minifigures listed. And anyway, it can't be that disappointing, we already heard most of them on Brickset. Quote

I heard there would be 2 to 3 more hp sets either at the end of 2011 or the beginning of 2012, before the theme ends. Quote
