Vindice Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 I don't think it's a given that Ron and Hermione will be in the Battle for hogwarts, but for TLG it makes sense to have the most marketable characters in the big sets for casual buyers and kids. I personally think the only definates should be Harry, Nevilel and Nagini. I would say definately Voldemort if he wasn't already rumoured to be in the forbidden forest set too. Quote
gondortoast Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Okay I'm going to go against the flow now and say, That IF harry and voldemort are in the forbidan forest set Then there is no need for them in the Battle of hogwarts set, and would make much more sense to include a few death eathers and students. Such as: "bad guys" bellatrix, lucious, fenrir, possibly snape or one named character and two un-named death eaters. "good guys" professer sprout OR slughorn. Nevile (with sword), luna OR tonks. Maybe molly weasly? or percey. I think the chances of getting a snape in any of these sets are pretty low, but seeing as He's getting a new death scene... Its anyones guess! Quote

I think Bellatrix is likely. Lucius we've had a few times now (two) so that's enough for him. Don't think he'll get a big role in the battle in the film btw. Same counts for Fenrir. Another Death Eater(s) can be possible. Tonks will die, so I guess LEGO won't put her in there, but Luna is possible. Even more if the rumours are true that she will have some role in finding Ravenclaws horcrux. Molly, maybe, but rather not. She doesn't really have an action role except for attacking Bella at the end. I guess children don't like playing a character in her fifties, but rather another child/teen. Percy, maybe, depends on the role he gets in the movie. Sprout and Neville seem likely. I think Snape too, since he's a liked and recognized character and he's important in that scene/at the end of the story. I expect Voldie and Harry too, since they will battle the epic finale together. Quote
The Builder Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Don't you think its weird how they're gonna release The Knight Bus when Deathly Hallows has just came out? Not that it's to do with the older movies but that in the book, Stan Shunpike appears as a death eater in the flying scene. Don't you think it would be a coincidence if Stan is included as a minifigure? These are likely....except for the room of requirement. If there is a RoR set, it won't come with Crabbe/Goyle, as the actors who played them didn't return for the final movie. Or at least one of them didn't. I hope there's at least a set with umbridge, (i missed the one she first came in!), a Trelawney, a Tonks, a Lupin, and a Kingsley. It would be a great benefit if they made Kingsley as I haven't seen many GREAT custom versions on Flickr. I don't think it's a given that Ron and Hermione will be in the Battle for hogwarts, but for TLG it makes sense to have the most marketable characters in the big sets for casual buyers and kids. I personally think the only definates should be Harry, Nevilel and Nagini. I would say definately Voldemort if he wasn't already rumoured to be in the forbidden forest set too. Well of course Voldemort is gonna be included. I think I hear an outbreak of death eaters too! If Neville is brought back then it would be pure epicness. I mean he's a very important character in the old films. Quote
katy Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 (edited) I think that the following figures are going to be in the packs. Forbidden forest * Fang *Hagrid *Narcissa *Death Eater Knight bus *Harry *Stan Stuplike *Ernie Prang Battle of Hogwarts *Harry *Voldemort *Kreacher *Lupin *Tonks *Kingsley Shaclebolt *Luna *Neville *Nagini (hopefully won't count as a lego mini figure) Edited February 2, 2011 by katy Quote
Ravenxl7 Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Forbidden forest * Fang *Hagrid *Narcissa *Death Eater Don't forget about Harry. He'll inevitably be in all three of these sets. As cool as it would be to finally have a Lego Fang, I don't think he'll be in this set. Fang, as far as I can remember, wasn't in that particular scene at all. Also, I'm still not fully convinced that Hagrid is in the set. Huw over at Brickset mentioned him every time he described the set, but never really confirmed him for it either. Knight bus *Harry *Stan Shunpike *Ernie Prang Minifigure wise that should be correct (fixed the typo for you), and as far as I can tell all three are confirmed (the "old man" minifigure Huw mentioned sounds like it's definitely Ernie). Though since you're including animals to the list, I would also add the grim and Hedwig. Battle of Hogwarts *Harry *Voldemort *Kreacher *Lupin *Tonks *Kingsley Shaclebolt *Luna *Neville *Nagini (hopefully won't count as a lego mini figure) I doubt this set will have eight minifigures in it. That would make the total list 15, but for all we know there could only be 12 minifigs in these sets. Pr.Sprout and Snape have been pretty much confirmed for this set. Also, part of me has a hard time seeing this set include minifigs of Lupin, Tonks, Kingsley, and Luna. I would also hope that the set won't be so one-sided, it is a battle after all. As for animals, I honestly don't think they count as minifigures, but at the same time I'm not 100% sure on that. Anyways, we'll just have to wait and see. The Nuremberg Toy Fair starts tomorrow, anybody here going? From what I've read it isn't as strict with photography as the London one is. Quote

Derek Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 It's annoying that this thread is now nothing but speculation as to which figures we are going to get in these sets... Quote
Clone OPatra Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 My sentiments exactly Derek. Really, figure wish lists for the sets we know about and set wishlists are just useless. What is there new to add? "I want all of the locations that we don't have yet and all of the figures that we don't have yet." Please, it just keeps bumping this thread up for no reason. It's supposed to be a discussion thread for actual rumors and actual information. You don't have to keep posting if you have nothing to say but "I want this and this and this and this…" Once some more real information surfaces, I'm sure plenty of people will be nice enough to come back to this topic and post it, but until then, all of these wish lists are getting extremely tedious. Quote
Sisco Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Thanks for pointing this out, Cloney and Derek. Every time I came back to this forum and saw this topic, I got my hopes up, hoping for some actual news. I'd check the topic, and find a list. *Sigh*. So I check again later, and find another list. Thank you very much for saying no to speculation, it was getting annoying. Quote
Frank-Lloyd-Knight Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 If I had to take a guess, I'd say that the Forbidden Forest set might follow the scene from the new HP 1-4 game. In this case it might be reasonable to expect a new piece for Fang. I also like the idea of the set having a unicorn. I don't actually have a copy of the game -- Does anyone know if the centaurs do make an appearance anywhere in it? Quote
Clone OPatra Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Unfortunately, the set doesn't have a unicorn, and probably doesn't have Fang. It has already been established that the set is from the Deathly Hallows Part II film, and at least contains Narcissa Malfoy and Harry Potter, and possibly Hagrid, though that is not clear. Quote
katy Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 (edited) I would love to see a Fang, but it probably won't happen. Edited February 3, 2011 by katy Quote
Harrypotterfreak Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 I would also love a Fang, but he's not gonna come in any of these 3 sets that come out in August. Quote
katy Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 (edited) When Lego Harry Potter years 5-7 comes out we are probably going to get new characters. Such as Tonks, Lupin(New look), Umbridge, Slughorn, Luna(Hogwarts Uniform), Sirius Black(cleaned up) When Lego Harry Potter years 1-7 come out we well probably get every character in the book. katy Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 Head over to BRICKIPEDINA and look at what it says for the Knight Bus and Battle Of Hogwarts!!! Quote
kevin1990 Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 Head over to BRICKIPEDINA and look at what it says for the Knight Bus and Battle Of Hogwarts!!! 4867 Battle for Hogwarts is a Harry Potter set scheduled to be released in late 2011. It will presumably contain Hogwarts Castle elements, but with battle damage. Presumable figures are Harry and Voldemort, with the possibility of Ron, Hermione, Bellatrix, Neville, and several other key characters, and maybe some Death Eaters and students. 4866 Knight Bus is an upcoming set from Harry Potter to be released in late 2011. It will contain the minifigures Harry Potter, Stan Shunpike, Ernie Prang and Sirius Black Quote
Primusman Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 Head over to BRICKIPEDINA and look at what it says for the Knight Bus and Battle Of Hogwarts!!! No offense to you, but this is really old news, but forgivable since you're new. Now pictures of these sets would be great! Quote

Presumable figures are Harry and Voldemort, with the possibility of Ron, Hermione, Bellatrix, Neville, and several other key characters, and maybe some Death Eaters and students. It's already been stated that it'll have two towers and an entrance way, and the figures we currently know about are Harry, Neville, Pr.Sprout, and Snape, though it's possible there are more, and Neville could turn out to be someone else. 4866 Knight Bus is an upcoming set from Harry Potter to be released in late 2011. It will contain the minifigures Harry Potter, Stan Shunpike, Ernie Prang and Sirius Black Harry, Stan, and Ernie have been confirmed, but there hasn't been any mention of Sirius being included. Though his dog/grim form will probably be included. Hopefully it isn't too long till we get some solid info from the Nuremberg Toy Fair. I'm happy enough to wait for the New York Toy Fair to get pictures, but some solid info about the sets would definitely help the wait. The report over at Brickset was quite vague, tbh. Quote

Lol I just watched the movie and how cool is the dog :D its weird since the game really has alot of awesome elements in it. They should really release it all. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 Looks like we won't get any news till next week since the HP sets aren't in the catalogue that brought us the SW pictures we've seen yesterday and the Nuremberg Toy Fair doesn't allow photographing according to EB member homoludens. Even if someone sees the sets there, I doubt that he would recognize the characters unless he's a fan I really hope the sets are worth the wait Quote
10or Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 (edited) :Not news for the new sets: Thought you guys (and gals) would like this link, LEGO Harry Potter Pretty much the cut scenes all together from Years 1-4 and being released as they are made. Edited February 6, 2011 by 10or Quote
