The minifig has been revealed!

Dress Robe Harry. Disappointing. I was hoping for a significant secondary cahracter like Tonks; or at least Hermione with a new torso. I suppose the torso is new; and can pass off as James Potter...

Darn it! I was hoping for a new Triwizard Tournament First Task Harry, but this is still awsome. And now we have a minifig only from the fourth book/film. I do agree with Nick Wolfe that he should have a cape, but it would be impractical as it would get wrinkled in the little pocket, plus I can always buy a black cape off Bricklink. Wedding set hmm...I love the idea!

Edit: I just watched Goblet of Fire yesterday and Harry's dress robes look a lot different, so maybe this is Harry from the wedding?

Harry in a tux, okay....I'll leave him in the book cover, might be worth something in a few years (as long as my son doesn't customize him  ).

But is he in this costume from the fourth or latest movie ?

Keep on casting spells !

Now, the question is which outfit? They've already done his Triwizard tournament outfit (albeit a while ago), so perhaps a Yule Ball/dress robes outfit? We'll just have to wait and see.

I guess I got that one right.

It isn't the wedding costume, it's the Yule Ball outfit. Here's a film still; the designers got it spot on:

I have no problem with this outfit. Like the SW book, I bet they were going for an outfit that would for sure never be made otherwise, and they did a very nice job with it.

I do agree that it does look pretty similar to the Yule Ball pic, but you pulled an image from towards the end of the Yule Ball scene, as you can see from my pic, he does have a cape at the beginning and he takes it off.

If you can see past Ron's pink ruffles, you can see Harry does have a cape and it actually makes him look like a wizard. I, personally would have rather had Ron in dress robes. They are definitely more iconic that Harry's.

I think what you're calling a cape is actually a long dinner jacket. I don't remember 100%, but I'm pretty sure in the movie it's a jacket with tails...

Yes, but… so what? The minifig is still accurate to the film costume, even if it's the costume from the later part of the scene. Stick some black arms and a cape on him, and there you go.

He looks ok and it is fairly accurate to the film. I won't buy the book for the fig but I might buy it for general interest. :classic:

While it will be easy to add a cape and black arms, it would have been nice for Lego to have given us the full minifig.

I don't feel like it's skimping to just have Harry in a vest. It doesn't seem to me like this is only part of a figure, or something. Honestly, if they'd made the figure with full robes then it would've had different printing, which might've looked funny due to the fact that it would be a printed coat and then a cape. I like this vest that we are getting; it will have a wide range of uses.

I wish it was a Harry in his DH clothes, would have loved it much more seeing as we won't be getting one in these 3 new sets.

I do think this fig looks good, it just won't be any fun since we don't have any other figures in their formal attire. I wish they based this off of the wedding tux, it had more color to it.

Well, I can't say that this is an exciting choice by TLG for the exclusive figure. I too would have preferred a Triwizard Harry, as the dress robes seem rather ordinary. I'll probably pass on this, or see if I can buy cheap on eBay. I would have preferred a less ubiquitous figure as well.

Well, I think it was pretty obvious from the start that the minifig would be some new version of Harry; the only question was which one, and I guess all you ball dress guessers were right. It makes sense when you think about it, but I'm still disappointed. I think I'll only get it on sale.

Does anyone knows if the video game "LEGO Harry Potter Years: 5-7" has been confirmed and if there is gonna be any other new sets to accompany its release?

No, it hasn't.

I've just seen two new Harry Potter promotional sets. I don't think they've been posted here.

There are official instructions, so I don't think they're fake.

30110 Trolley

30111 The Lab

They look fake to me. But if they're not, then, cool.

I agree that the pictures do, but with official instructions and promos popping up in all themes, I would think these are real.

Yeah, Brickset isn't usually known to do April Fools pranks (one of the reasons why I like that site), so these are real. It's just a big coincidence that all these instructions were added on April 1, or a bad joke by the Lego employees themselves. Anyway, I believe a deeplink is in order:

They aren't great, but they do look nice. They're good parts packs and I wouldn't mind getting a couple of them.

Downloading the instructions right now....if wi-fi lets me !

You're right 'Oky Wan', handy parts packs and who doesn't need more Harry's eh ?

I wonder if they'll do the same for Cars2, well there are the POTC twin poly bags and now here HP poly's.

Brick On while casting spells !
