I remember prior to it's release(4867) we were talking about what the rooms were. Well, in this months Club it says what they are.

Divination Classroom

Room with the Mirror of Erised

Gryffindor boys dormitory

Room of Requirement

Professor Lupins classroom

There was talk of what the rooms actually were. More importantly, the room with the beds. Now, clearly it's not the RoR. It's the boys dorm. So, that empty room must be the RoR... Your thoughts?

I contacted them about getting extras and that I was willing to pay. So they asked me for my proof of purchase numbers for the sets and my credit card info and are sending them

Had no idea that that could be done! *oh2*

I would think that it'd be the empty room, as you can put anything there. I'm not quite sure. :sceptic:

For those who have both 4842 & 4867, where did you put 4867? On the right end? Left end? Middle? Somewhere else? Let's see some pics! I'm curious because I'm wondering where to put mine when I rebuild them.

I arranged it like this: (from left to right) Dumbledore's Office, Great Hall, 4867, Gryffindor Tower, Dobby's Release, Astronomy Tower.

Part II was everything I could ask for and more. A perfect ending.

While I was on the Harry Potter mini-site on Lego.com, I saw this description for the Forbidden Forest Set and thought it was pretty funny.

In the Forbidden Forest, Lord Voldemort has captured Hagrid and tied him to a tree. When Harry approaches, Voldemort attacks. Will Harry be able to defeat the Dark Lord? And what is Narcissa Malfoy doing here?

Was planned, is planned, we don't know. Hopefully we will get at least another exclusive like Diagon Alley to round off the theme.

Saw DH pt2 on opening night, but spent all yesterday sleeping. I felt that the movie was fantastic! Although some of the exposition was lost, which I hate, and the first fifth of the movie felt very rushed, the battle itself was beautifully done, and the prince's tale was quite beautiful. A few quips: 1. every time a horcrux was destroyed, it looked the same as all the others, instead of making each time unique. 2. the film changes the special effects of certain aspects, and, while they look cool, I'd rather have more continuity. But overall, even if it didn't stay entirely true to the book (and none of them do) I was very well done, definitely my new favorite.

And now, lego. I'm not sure why , after seeing the movie, lego didn't release more sets with it, there are unlimited possibilities and they only released two sets to correspond with the movie. And even if they plan on releasing more later, they missed a huge opportunity, for children who just saw the movie and now want some lego sets to reenact their favorite scenes, they could have easily struck gold by releasing just a few more sets.

I agree, that is hilarious. I love how they try to avoid spoilers in a really obvious way.

Thank you :) would be nice, but then It would be very expensive I think :(

all in all I don't want Lego Harry Potter to end, like many said, there are enough possibilities for sets

The end is the reason why I try to buy some sets now ^^

FBTB reports that if you buy Diagon Alley at S@H during August, you'll get a free Mini Hogearts Express, although this promotion doesn't seem to apply quite yet. Looks pretty neat, although they could have done a better job IMO.

HP has been the second biggest license that TLG have had so another nice direct to customer set would be a perfect way to round off the theme because lets face it, once it's gone it ain't coming back!

No more films or books = no more Lego i'm afraid to say.

I'm hoping for a big ministry playset............ but in truth I think it's already finished.

I understand why nearly everyone thinks that the license won't be continued in 2012, but don't you think the fact that there is a calender for 2012 could mean that Lego will make more sets? Otherwise the calender would be a bit pointless, I think, making people keen to get mini figures that aren't even available (like the Dursleys).

What do you mean about a calendar?

I kinda have a feeling that the Super Hero theme is going to replace the Harry Potter theme :cry_sad:

Maybe the Super Hero theme will release some cool parts to make the figs we didn't get from Harry Potter

Sorry for the confusing comment before!!

I recently looked for HP sets on amazon.com and was recommended a calendar for 2012 (if your search terms are "harry potter lego calendar" it will be the top result). The calendar seems to use pictures from the (old?) video game. But anyway - I thought that it might be a marketing strategy, because a calendar would of course remind kids of HP lego all through 2012.

You can just make it yourself. I'm sure you can find most of the parts on PAB.

Cool! Thanks for letting us know! I gotta get this! I'm loving the pictures with the Dursleys and the troll! Well, technically it's a 2011 product, and the currently available sets will still be around for a while for people to buy. I don't think there will be any more sets, sadly.

By the way, I just found these on Brickipedia. They look official, but I can't seem to find them on the Lego Harry Potter website, and they are not prizes in the Battle for Hogwarts game. Does anybody know anything about these?
