The information has been deleted, so it was definitely a hoax

I'm glad it turned out to be false though, after all those new and exclusive minifigs we've got in the last wave this would have been a huge letdown. And BTW, who was supposed to drive the bus according to that list, Harry himself? Or Sirius?

Just because it was deleted doesn't mean its a hoax, LEGO might have made them get rid of the information like us not being able to post preliminary pictures

But yea lets hope the minifigure list changes a bit, except Forbidden Forest, I really want a centaur

Well, TLG has never removed rumors, only pics  I mean, take a look at SW: we usually get information (or rumors) about new sets 1-2 months before we see the first pics, and TLG has never done anything to keep those rumors from spreading... And it took only a few hours for that HP rumor to disappaer, that's way to fast IMO (the POTC pics e.g. were around for a week or so before they were removed).

I hope and think that the Battle of Hogwarts will come in 3 or 4 little sets from 20€ - 30€.

I think, if they do that, that this scenes will be transformed into lego:

Room of Requirement Battle:

- Harry Potter

- Ron Weasley

- Hermione Granger

- Draco Malfoy

- Vincent Crabbe

(with the diadem of Ravenclaw and a lot of fire)

Battle with Bellatrix:

- Bellatrix LeStrange

- Hermione Granger

- Luna Lovegood

- Ginny Weasley

- Molly Weasley

(only girls aloud :p)

Killing of Nagini:

- Neville Longbottom

- Voldemort

(with the snake Nagini but i don't think it is a minifigure)

Battle with Voldemort:

- Harry Potter

- Voldemort

- Ghost Lilly?

This won't happen. At least not next year anyway. Remember, The Battle of Hogwarts is 1 set, and not even a very big one. I'd like it if your idea was made a reality, but it won't.

We know the box sizes for these sets, so there is no way that the Battle for Hogwarts set is going to be that big. It's the same size as last years Hagrid's Hut set. The Forbidden Forest set is the same size as the Freeing Dobby set, and the Knight Bus set is in-between the sizes of last years Quidditch Match set and Hagrid's Hut set. Theoretically one could guess that the prices for these sets will be $11, $20-30, and $40.

There is one minifigure that's guaranteed to be in each of these sets, and that's a Muggle-clothed Harry Potter minifig, lol.

When will the Toy Fair in London start? I thought tomorrow?

Yeah, it starts tomorrow, and ends on the 27th.

If someone is going to the Toy Fair, please take some pictures of the HP Sets if they are there ;)

I think someone on here mentioned they were going, so I'm assuming someone will report back with info. As for pictures, we'll have to wait for the New York Toy Fair for any (Feb. 13th-15th), as the London Toy Fair is a "no pictures allowed" event.

The Forbidden Forest is from The Philosopher's Stone and will probably include the following minifigs: Harry, Ron, Hermione, Hagrid, Draco, Fang.

It would be cool if the Knight Bus came with the playground and Sirius Black (animagus)

In the book the final battle was epic and should definitely come with a centaur or a giant or something awesome like that :classic::cry_happy::grin::laugh::tongue:

An $11 set containing five minifigs and a dog? Would be epic (especially since it would mean we would finally get a Lego Fang), but that would definitely not happen. I think we'll be lucky if we get 4 minifigs, tbh.

Been thinking about it, and honestly, I really like the idea of it having Harry, Voldemort/Quirrel, Firenze, and a Unicorn. I'm having a hard time picturing them putting two minifigs, a centaur, and a unicorn all in an $11 set. We'll just have to wait and see. Good thing there's a good chance we'll get some info in the next couple of days.

Anybody else remember how much info was reported from the London Toy Fair last year? I remember the pictures we then got from the New York Toy Fair, but honestly can't remember if we had gotten information previous to that from the London Toy Fair.

Last year, we got some information via brickset  The article that was written back then can be found here: http://www.brickset.com/news/article/?ID=531

Thanks. Hmmm...if we get about the same amount of info from this years London Toy Fair, it should be enough to keep my mind busy till the New York one, lol. Didn't know the Lego booth was invitation only. Will have to keep a look-out for the hopefully inevitable news post on Brickset. By the looks of it, with any luck we could have info later today.

Is that a question or a hint?

I think its a Question because the London Toy Fair event is on now and one of our Members here on EB went there so He was probably wondering if any of us have any info from there yet :classic:

I imagine we should be getting some info before the end of today....hopefully anyways, lol. Really depends on when they can get a chance to report about it, and whether or not they were able to see anything. Seeing as how last year's was invite only, I'm assuming the same would be true this year. Brickset got a report up on the first day of last year's Toy Fair, so I'm hoping the same will be true this year. We'll just have to wait and see.

My heart stopped when I read "There are Harry Potter sets shown" and it sped back up when I saw that there was nothing new. :sadnew:

Pictures will come soon enough (I hope).

Well...looks like I was completely wrong, lol. Hopefully we'll get some sort of info/news in the next day or two. Since they revealed last year's sets at last years Toy Fair, I think it should be inevitable that the same happens this year. I haven't been able to find any sort of report about the Lego booth specifically. Brickset hasn't done a report yet, but I'm hopeful they will...

Honestly, pictures I can wait for (usually have to anyways), but it would certainly help the wait if we knew what the minifigures of each set were going to be.

I know this is grasping at straws a bit, but I found this image on Google. If you zoom in you can kind of see some figures, and I'm sure two of them are new. One is a tanned colour, and the other, I'm not too sure. Like I say, grasping at straws...

Yes I saw that too. Those aren't new Figures they are Severus Snape, Harry Potter, Minerva Mcgonagall and Hermione Granger. I see why you think they are new because for some reason They are a different colour to what they should be.

I don't think that's who they are. The HP sets have been out since October now so there's no reason for them to be prototypes. I think that's Pomona Sprout. If you think about it she's the only head of house they haven't made. I don't know about the others though. Personally I would love a Slughorn.
