This is the best screenshot I could get of it:

I am not completely convinced that they are all 2010 figures. That tall, tan wizard is defiantly new and the other is not Hermione Granger, you can tell by her hair colour, the other two are of course Harry and Severus Snape though.

What do you think?

Wizard??

Thats clearly Mcgonagall the one at the back it's obvious cause of the Hat Piece.

As for Hair Colour we can see the Hair is Hermione's Colour and shape.

Plus why would New Figures pop up in Sets that already came out? :sceptic:

If you look closely the witch at the back is not that tall, she's just higher up. And post above, McGonagall isn't tan, she's green

Fine, Witch

Anyway, the wizard in my photo is clearly tan so why would a green Mcgonagall be suddenly represented as a tan witch. Also that hat piece is a common one which represents all hats and would not be reserved for just Mcgonagall. I can agree with you with Hermione but I still feel that, that could be a new figure.

There would be different HP items all along that table so we cannot rule it out because of the position of the minifigs either, for all we know the setup people were still 'setting up' at the time and thats when the photo was taken.

I'm sure they are new figures. Like others have said, I'm not sure why they would use a prototype figure when the sets have been out for 4 months. I'm reckoning that it's Sprout, but thats only because I've got no idea who else it could be.

That's a very interesting find. I think the mystery figure looks like prof. Sprout, but I don't see which set she'd fit into. I mean, she's never been in the forbidden forest or the knight bus, and she didn't play a very big part in the battle of Hogwarts. Maybe a new set we've not heard of? I don't think so, but it would be great if it was. Also, what are the 2010 sets doing at the 2011 toy fair?

Not necessarily; the 'witch' appears to be further back than the rest, and you can clearly see the divide of the legs underneath Harry's wand.

Is it possible that what appears to be a Pr. Sprout figure is going to be in a new magnet set? She could theoretically be in the Battle for Hogwarts set, but there are other characters I would rather get in that set than her, tbh. Then again, if it meant the set would include Mandrakes, I'd be all for her to be in it, lol.

I would love it if we were getting more than three sets. Although considering how we found out about the three we know are on the way, I'm having a hard time seeing any more being added to this wave. Would be cool, but for the time being, won't believe it till we see proof (don't want to get my hopes up).

Yes, now I see those 'Lego Harry Potter years 1-4' pictures of P. Sprout I am fairly certain that we will be getting her in a new set :classic:

We don't know how many sets we are going to get for definite, we could end up with more than 3.

Hmm now that you mention it I looked over that Figure you lot think is Sprout and the Mcgonagall figure and I have to say you could be right as the Leg Pieces in both Figures are different :sweet:

Of Course it might still not Be Sprout but it is definitly a new Figure

I'm sceptical... :sceptic:

Professor Sprout has only appeared in one single movie, I doubt she'd be in Deathly Hallows Part 2, and I can't think of any sets she'd be in. Besides, It's niot because a fig has tan clothes and a hat that it's necessarly professor Sprout. It could be a man after all, we can't see the face. It could be anything, a random Wizard, or even Mister Lovegood. By the way, it could be possible the colors are not 100procent known yet. Last time they change the colors of Voldemorts clothes, and they changed Filch's face, remember ? why coudn't be that tan wizard be a blue one : Trelawney come back, throwing magic balls to the death eaters like in the book ?

I'm pretty sure it is'nt sprout but It could be anything ! :classic:

For all we know, the 2011 sets could be a "mix" of books as in 2010. Remember how tidbits from all 7 books show up in Hogwarts Castle? How you can't really pinpoint the Hogwarts Express to a single book because of all the minifigs in it? I have a feeling one of the new sets could be a "mix"; and Prof. Sprout will feel like she was randomly stuck into one of those sets.

I'm hoping that if this is Prof. Sprout that she won't come in Battle of Hogwarts 'cause she isn't so important character and there's many others who I'd like to see in Battle of Hogwarts... it would be great if they do HP magnets and she come in one of them

I pretty sure it's Sprout, based on the "shape" of the thing on her torso; plus, she's in DH2. Also, LEGO has made all the Heads of House except Sprout; they had no need to make Flitwick if they weren't planning to make Sprout.

That wouldn't be any good. Magnets are glued now remember default_sad.gif

In an interview with the film makers one of them said ' .....Old characters like Pomona Sprout and...... will appear again.' So she may be in the film

A lot of sites have stated that Miriam Margolyes would return for DH2, e.g. wikipedia ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miriam_Margolyes ), the Harry Potter wiki ( http://harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Miriam_Margolyes ) or imdb ( http://www.imdb.com/character/ch0001027/ ). As many of you have pointed out, it's very likely that the minifig in that picture is her, given the colour of the hat (which currently doesn't exist in tan, which rules out the possibility of it being a preliminary McGonagall, I mean even the version we've seen at last year's toy fair was dk green). I hope we'll see other new characters as well (and I'm still praying for the return of Neville and Lupin  )

Infact lego-freak is correct. Those fig pieces havent been produced in those colours yet so why would it be a prelimanary fig, I always thought that prelimary things were made of similar existing elements which would then be replaced later in time.

Posted

It is also possible that the minifig is a male. I can see legs in the picture of the tan fig, no skirt. Now of course women wear pants too, but in HP Lego they mostly wear skirts (mcgonnagal, bellatrix, trelawney). However, cannot think of a male with such a hat really...

Posted

It is possible that Slughorn could wear that silly hat in the seventh film, part two. I think it is much more likely to be Sprout. Umbridge and Mrs. Weasley are women with legs, and since Sprout doesn't wear a long skirt, LEGO would probably not give her the tall skirt piece.

Lego have done it again....one minute writing a letter to all about leaked images and they do this......remember at ComicCom last year and the appearance on a camel of a pirate named Jack Sparrow eh ?

Now this and I too also feel it's Sprout plus thanks to Wiki.......

In Deathly Hallows, she chases Snape away from Hogwarts with Professors McGonagall and Flitwick. Informed that Voldemort and his Death Eaters are coming to besiege Hogwarts, she uses her knowledge of magical plants by improvising offensive botany, and, with the help of several students, throws Mandrakes and Venomous Tentaculas off the castle walls at the approaching Death Eaters. The epilogue of Deathly Hallows reveals that Neville Longbottom has become the new Herbology teacher at Hogwarts. The circumstances of Sprout's departure from the job are not revealed.

Sprout was portrayed by Miriam Margolyes in the film adaptation of Chamber of Secrets, and it has been confirmed that she will appear in the two-part adaption of the final film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.[16]

That figure is in one of sets to go with part two of HP7.

Keep on casting spells !

Looks a lot like Sprout, but who's the third figure? It doesn't look much like Hermione. Doesn't even look like a Hogwarts uniform...if it's Neville... :cry_happy:

i would be so happy to get Sprout, she is the only important teacher missing. Like Legofreak pointed out she will be in DH2 and i think her role in the Battle for Hogwarts wasn't of such small importance either. At least in the book she is important for the planning of strategies and the magical defence of the castle, so i think she would be a great fit. If they manage to fit Sprout, Slughorn(who is awesome) and some Phonix order soilders in this set, my head will explode. an explosion of joy.
