Officer Jackson said out loud. "And how are my casts off?" He looked around. "I'm being focused on, I hope I'm not being killed." "CUT!" Bob yelled. "What the devil is all of this?!" Officer Jackson asked. "Mr. Mayor, what is all of this?" "I'm not really the Mayor, I'm the host." "I thought something was fishy! I didn't remember voting you for!" "Hold it!" Truman Bigbucks said, as he arrived on the scene. "We need more action to attract people. Think big!" "Big?" Bob asked. "Yes! I have a perfect idea!" Truman Bigbucks said. "What?" Officer Jackson asked. "Boo!" the alien yelled. "Aieeeee!" Officer Jackson shrieked. "Cut! This is a bit ridiculous, this is about a murder not an alien invasion." "What the hell is going on over here?" Deputy Chief Scott asked. "If we're solving a murder, here's a new angle. A rogue off the handle space-cop has to capture a murderer, but has to deal with his annoying yet sexy boss, Chief Sassypants." Truman Bigbucks says. "What's going on here, Mr. Mayor?!" the two police officers ask. "Kid Pirate!!!" Truman Bigbucks yells. "What should I do with this prop, boss?!" a crewman asks. "If we run, we can get the others." Deputy Scott said. "I can't run, even though my cast is off and my cane has gone away off camera, I still have leg injuries." "Everyone shut up and clear the set! Let's take it from the top again! Bring in the doctor!" "Jackie Scott?" Doctor Barker asks. "I'm afraid you're pregnant...and it's a girl." "What?!" Scott asked. "Cut! More action, less drama!" "Come with me if you want to live, pregnant lady!" Doctor Barker says, as he shoots the area indiscriminately. "What's going on here?" the rest of the townies ask. "CUT!" Bob yelled into Amber's ear. "Ow!" "Take a break, everyone." "Mr. Mayor? Is this really just a game?" Scott asked, as a crew member brushed her hair. "Obviously. I can't believe you haven't noticed the camera crew before this." "Then you know who killed the Chief!" "Yes, of course. That's what you have to answer." "Why can't you just tell us?" "Because, this is a mystery game." The Mayor gathered everyone else. "I've changed the questions now to make them very simple, so everyone should answer them. 1) Who killed Chief McGovern? 2) Why did Chief McGovern die? 3) Who was the accomplice? There are 16 participants. If you commit to the game you are committing to contributing to the story and sticking with it to the end. 2. You must search for clues. This means that an action must be specified. For example, you wish to search a room for hidden objects. The following is an example of how not to go about this: "I wish to look for suspicious or hidden objects in this room". Instead, you must be able to specify what you want to do. For example: "I would like to open the drawers of the cabinet." It is not required for you to specify exactly what you are doing and what you are looking for, but a generalized statement will not find you anything. Act like a detective and you will be fine. I will always give a detailed explanation of a room, however, feel free to ask for clarification. 3. Please be patient with me between chapters, I will try to put up the chapter topics as quickly as possible, but, this might not be so all the time. 4. Please try to avoid editing your posts. If you made a spelling error, simply post immediately after correcting your spelling error. If you wish to add more, a double post can be made, however use this rule wisely. Obviously, you may not make a quadruple post. Please wait for someone else to post before you post something else, unless absolutely necessary. 5. You can reference anything in pop culture, as this is being played real time. You can mention current events if you want to. You can use any electronic device that you wish to use, with exception. For example, you can’t take out your time machine to determine who the killers are. 6. I won’t keep you in a certain room if you don’t want me too. However, you may not return to a room that you were already in, so ensure that you have searched every part of the room before leaving. 7. There are a few NPC’s in certain areas of the town. These NPC’s might have evidence, however they might not. Also, the evidence given by them might be false information. You cannot do anything other than talk to these NPC’s. You can only go and speak to them when you arrive in their area. For example, each NPC is in a certain part of the town. If you’re at point A, you cannot go and speak to an NPC at point B. 8. Failure to follow these rules will result in a warning. A second failure will result in the death of your character. 9. There are no night actions or chapter actions. However, there are Miscellaneous Actions. With this system, if you’d like to PM me a non-lethal action (I.E; “I’d like to go visit Player A”), then that’s fine. However, things that could harm people (I.E; “I’d like to go kill Player A”) are not allowed. These are only allowed at night. Night comes at the end of every chapter. I’ll allow most anything, so let your imaginations go wild. However, you can’t leave Lexington. That is not a valid action. 10. No Metagaming please. Also, don’t base suspicions on how the person looks. 11. There will be a life-point system. Every player starts out with ten life-points, and regenerates one life point at the end of a chapter. For example, if you fall and twist your ankle, you’d likely lose one life point. If you fall off a boat into an engine prop, you’re likely to lose most if not all of your life points. Think logically. Perhaps walking along the rickety boards in the construction zone is not a good idea. 12. The host is usually always right. If you think he’s wrong, feel free to send me a message about it. 13. Most of all have fun. This game is meant to be enjoyable despite the "questionable" things occurring. We know he was probably drunk, and he could've died from hitting his head against the fountain after being bumped into by one or both of the two other people. Maybe I'm thinking of this too much like one of those mafia games that I play online with a lot of you, and maybe it's just inexperience, but no one has really struck me as acting guilty so far. The mayor also mentioned that he has his own actions, and he admitted to using one of those actions to beat up Marcus with a bat. I don't see why he, allegedly the 'host' of this 'game' would need to harm one of us unless he wanted us to think that there were bad guys out there trying to kill us.

I'll go look it up, but I thought that it wasn't clear.Okay, I looked up the 'video'. First, we see two blacked-out people standing around. Second, we see the Chief approach the two with handcuffs. Third, we see the two with their hands raised in what is apparently distress or surprise. Fourth, we see the two run away and the Chief lying in the fountain. I don't think it's outside the realm of possibility that the Chief was drunk, tried to arrest the two for no real reason, and then the two tried to get away from the drunk Chief and accidentally pushed him into the fountain where he hit his head and died.

You forgot the late Alex Jordan, he also had brown hair, and frankly, despite his death he's among my suspects. Okay, I think I'll start with you: We've got few to nothing that points towards you being involved in anything, someone tried shooting you and your behaviour didn't seem odd to me. On the other hand, you might have a motive to kill the chief, i.e. promotion (which isn't that much of a motive, but nobody has a convincing reason to kill the chief). If so, you might have burned down the house of Scott and blown up her Camper, in order to get rid of her as well. But this is only speculation, as I said before, there's nothing to back this up, I don't think you're actually the killer. If you were, who tried to kill you then? And why would the Chief try to arrest him? Same goes for Sarah, somebody tried to kill her husband and shot her down. She doesn't have any motive I could think of, except for helping her husband with his plans, if he had any, so we got even less against her than against Jackson. I doubt they were the killers. And I still don't think that's some kind of Witch Hunt Reality Show, I seriously doubt such a show would get good ratings.

The various hospital figures were mixed in with other themes. "We need more water!" Truman Bigbucks yelled into his megaphone. "Now what?" someone asked. "Mayor Bob!" Agent Stone yelled. "Yes, what is it Agent Stone." "What the hell is going on here?! What is all of this!" "Oh, um, well Mr. Bigbucks has taken over the production of the game, and now it's become something ridiculous." "Are you an actor too?" someone asked. "Do I look like I'm a goddamned actor to you?!" "No." everyone replied in unison. "Someone grab some buckets, we need more water, pronto!" "Alright you criminals. Contrary to your beliefs, there are bad apples in your basket." Agent Stone said. "What?" someone asked. "There's spoiled milk in your cake." "What?" someone else asked. "There's megablocking murderers among you!!!" Agent Stone yelled. "Oh." everyone replied again. "Most of what you've seen is all real. People are indeed dead. It's up to you to figure out who killed the chief. Go back and review everything you've found! You got that?!" "Yes sir!" "Good."
