Capt.JohnPaul Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Alexandre sprints to the South-West tower after recovering.
Kadabra Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 "Haha, looks like I'm on fire, I'll repeat my action!
Flipz Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 "Luke, heal me up right before I attack, I'm going after Warlock C with an Ice spell from the back row." "All right, if tha' quiet Grumpkin'll operate tha' Slice N Dice for a turn, I'll repair it if it takes damage. If it takes no damage, I'll attack the weaker of my Elven counterparts (Engineer A) from the back row instead.
Dharkan Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 (Okay then.) I'm going all the way to the down floor to join the action. (3 turns)
K-Nut Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Althior's face is not amused by Finnegan's pestering. He'd caused him to miss his target several times now. His rage filled him up to the brim as he lashed out upon the aura. "Finnegan!" His eyes filled with a purple blue. "I don't want you here anymore! Scram!" He paused for an instant, seeing Finnegan run back into the fortress. He shook himself back into reality. He had lashed out harshly, but it was that or take a greater chance of being killed by one of these elves. "Alright! Same Battle order, I have Elite C from the back row with Darkness!" "I have Engineer A, back row, with Light," "I have Assassin A from the front row with this nifty Slice-n-dice! I'm not feelin' too well, maybe I should go back to Eubric after this... "
Flipz Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Arthur yells at Luke. "Luke! Luuuuuuke! I could use a heal, otherwise Warlock C could take me out!" OOC: Does the back row half the Elven Warlocks' damage, since it's such a far distance, or do they get the same benefit as Mages do from their "class"? If they still deal full damage, I'll attack Elven Engineer B instead.
Brickdoctor Posted March 13, 2012 Author Posted March 13, 2012 OOC: Does the back row half the Elven Warlocks' damage, since it's such a far distance, or do they get the same benefit as Mages do from their "class"? If they still deal full damage, I'll attack Elven Engineer B instead. QM Note:It makes less sense, but I'll stick to the basic rules and say that Damage taken is still halved.
posades Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Xander makes his way to a safe part of the castle. OOC: All up to you ranged guys now, I've done my part.
Flipz Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Arthur sees that the Warlock is strong. Dangerously so. He decides that if Luke doesn't heal him, he will redirect his spell to Engineer B instead.
Flipz Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 OOC: I think everyone's posted their actions... Arthur, now that he's been healed, again targets Warlock C from the back row with an Ice spell.
Brickdoctor Posted March 17, 2012 Author Posted March 17, 2012 QM Note: My flight landed about an hour and a half ago, and I'm now back where I belong with my LEGO collection. I'm pretty busy tomorrow morning, but the next Round will be up ASAP. Thanks again for your patience.

Brickdoctor Posted March 17, 2012 Author Posted March 17, 2012 When did you say you were traveling??? I thought you were dead. QM Note: None of you have them, but I wanted to make sure that all of you are aware that Scrolls now have a 50% chance of working, and Ether is not expended if casting fails. Also, as those of you who have been following Yakuza Mafia know, I'm out of town for ten days starting tomorrow. I will have Internet access. Updating battles might only take place every two or three days, and non-essential graphical and textual details might be lacking, but I'll try to update as quickly as possible.
Brickdoctor Posted March 18, 2012 Author Posted March 18, 2012 QM Note: Alexandre (Capt.JohnPaul) is already in the South-West Tower, so I assume he moves down a level. Results of Round Twenty One of the Battle for Bric'Bay Fort: >Althior Emorith vs. Elven Elite C - Special Damage Spag Bitterstalk (Slice N Dice) vs. Elven Assassin A - Special Damage >Luke heals Arthur Justus Regulus VII - Magical Vortex William Harkenshire vs. Elven Elite C - Damage Xander Unth'or moves to the North-West Tower. >Arthur Justus Regulus VII vs. Elven Warlock C - Magic Burst Isabella del Toboso moves to the South-West Tower. >Count Lewis Knyghton repairs Slice N Dice Blockade - Repair Alexandre le Chevalier moves to the first floor of the South-West Tower. Arasmyth RuGard (Hiyaaaaaa Hwacha) vs. elves to the south - Critical Hit Althior, you're too distracted by Finnegan's retreat, and Elite C takes the opportunity to Take Cover and Return Fire. Spag, Assassin A flicks a dagger at the Slice N Dice, but since it has no head, it merely takes 8 Damage. Luke, you conjure a Magical Vortex that deals 1 Light Elemental Damage to all enemies, and also is powerful enough to restore every hero to full Health. William, Elite C fires an arrow that glances off your shield and into your arm for 7 Damage. Xander, you move out of danger. Arthur, you Magic Bursts, spraying every elf and causing a base of 8 Ice Elemental Damage, killing numerous elves. Elite B, however, crouches behind his shield and fires an arrow in a high arc over the walls that skims your leg for 1 Damage. Isabella, you move closer to the battle. Count Lewis, you repair the Slice N Dice. Alexandre, you, too, move closer to the action. Arasmyth, you fire another salvo that leaves Elite C on the verge of defeat, though Elite B hides behind his shield and deals 2 Damage to the Hwacha. "Onwards! Victory is at hand!" Elite C succumbs to the fire, and the battle continues... Althior, Xander, Luke, Count Lewis, and Arasmyth gain half a Level of XP, while everyone else gains a full Level, so update your signatures accordingly. Party Leader, how will the spoils of the battle be divided? Staff of the Elven Warlock (WP: 5; Wood Elemental; suitable for Mages and Clerics) - This staff, hand-carved from wood horrifically cut from a still-living ent, is adorned with a flawless Emerald. Robe of the Elven Warlock (SP: 3; suitable for Mages and Clerics) - Crafted from the finest elven fabric, this robe is enchanted to protect its wearer. Emerald - This shimmering green gem enables the harnessing of the element of Wood. Potions x6 - Restores 10 Health to the target. 40 Gold Fire Bombs x4 - Causes 5 Fire Elemental Damage to all enemies, doubled if the target is weak to Fire. "Sirs, Barbarian Spag looks paralyzed by the stress of the battles. I've ordered a wagon to return him to Eubric. Also, the Trebuchet seems to be working better, as it can now be fired by only one hero. "SPAG BITTERSTALK HAS LEFT THE PARTY!"
Flipz Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 "I'd like the Warlock staff, please. I wouldn't mind the Robe, either. I'd be happy to contribute my remaining gold to the loot and to not get a share of this battle's gold in exchange for those two items." "While you lot divide up tha loot, I'll repair all our siege weapons."
Fred Daniel Yam Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 (edited) "May I please have the Emerald Althior? And who gets the extra gold?" Edited March 18, 2012 by VolcanicPanik
Capt.JohnPaul Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 "Victory! Sir Althior, the only useful thing to me is a potion, fire bomb, or gold. I already have fire bombs, and I have a shield, so a potion wouldn't matter. I request some gold."

Arasmyth, I recall from the forest that you weren't comfortable with that many elements, so if you don't want it, I'll give it to William. Now for the next battle. Arthur, look through your telescope, Anyone with Firebombs, bury them somewhere. Xander, since you have the stomach for it, make some Skeleton Decoys out of the elves corpses. Finnegan! Where's you go?" Althior waited for an answer, but there was none. He stood, shocked. Finnegan was gone.
Fred Daniel Yam Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 I salvage the dead elves' bodies for cloaks, armour or weapons. Althior waited for an answer, but there was none. He stood, shocked. Finnegan was gone. "Would it be insensitive of me to say "You had it coming?""
K-Nut Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 "Would it be insensitive of me to say "You had it coming?"" Fortunately, Althior doesn't hear, but his horse kicks Will in the @ss.
Brickdoctor Posted March 18, 2012 Author Posted March 18, 2012 Althior, your Horse can't find William's '@ss', so it just kicks the MegaBloks out of a particularly large muscle located in the lower torso for 1 Damage.
