Siercon and Coral Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 The hidden treasury of Avalonia is buried in the depths of the Mystic Faerie Forest and few have ever seen within it's sacred caverns, save the foresters. They are always adding to its abundance while still exemplifying generosity. Not only is this secret cave filled with wonders, but it is also a secret passage to the Faerie Forest City! "We over the years of plundering our oppressors, have amassed countless crowns from tyrannical kings. We have guarded priceless jewels and powerful artifacts worn by warriors of old. And today we pay another visit to the wealth of our history. The forestmen... will rise again from the heart of the Faerie Forest, and the soul of Avalonia. Long have we stayed hidden, it is time we showed our strength." Hope you guys enjoy... This was a real pain to photo... Honestly it looks much better in person. Oh well that's just the way things are. :) Avalonia! Quote
Alex the Great Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Your creations are always great, I know your pain when a creation can be hard to photograph. But it still looks good, just probably not nearly as good as it actually is. Quote
Derfel Cadarn Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Another stunning build! The landscaping is excellent, I really like the different ways you have designed all the foliage. The is cave really well made with those trans green plates and thats a nice treasure horde! Very mystical and exactly what I hoped to see from that area of Avalonia. I did have you placed in the Enchanted Forest, but I think the Mystic Isles is an area that hasn't really been used much, so it would make sense that you use it for your mocs as no one knows what lies in that area. I will put you down under 'Faerie Forest' for the moment, so that's where your mocs will be listed. If you want to give your area a different name then just let me know. Great work! Quote
lightningtiger Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Fantastic creation and all that green.....wonderful ! Great work 'Siercon and Coral'........Avalonia Forever ! Quote
de Gothia Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 You manage to put in mystery and so much graceful details in your buildings. The trans clear big ugly pieaces in the background to the right becomes so beautiful when you put them into that moc! You really do Lego into art! Quote
nicoga3000 Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 You know, if I were to think to myself, "I'm going to create a piece that shows a group of adventurers running across a geode cavern on the side of a cliff," I can promise it wouldn't have come out ANYTHING like this. You've done an incredible job capturing the whole feeling of mystery and amazement. Great work! Also, my favorite part of the entire piece is the use of the ship cockpit covers for the large geodes. Genius! Quote
hellboy Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Great work. The cristals are so well. I mean these photos are realy good. Quote
ZCerberus Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Good work! I also have issues taking photos of trans pieces (I have done several things with stained glass windows) that look great with natural light, but just can't quite be caught on film. Correct me if I am wrong here- but am I to understand Siercon and Coral are TWO people who have teamed up to bring us MOCing greatness? If so, I applaud how cohesive everything is, even with more than one chef in the kitchen. Quote
Gabe Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 Wow you guys, you never fail to impress. The imagination on show here is awesome - a geode cave! It's just brilliant. So much to take in and admire in this - the large geode with the crack in centre, the smaller one on top of the cliff, the brilliant pine trees, and the hoard!! Great stuff. Quote
