Brick Miner Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 you know, i've always felt the admiral was over pirced... some sellers have him listed a 20 USD... and a while ago the lowest priced one was 13 USD. during that time, i sold a prefect one for 8 bucks !!! however, since then i've seen many listed around the 8 dollar mark... maybe some other sellers to a cue from my sale :-D i mean, he is a fig you really only need one of, right ??? seems there would be plenty to go around... - BrickMiner Quote

As he only came in two very expensive (especially now) sets. But the red admiral was available in three sets, which are still expensive but not as highly sought after.... Maybe it's just that distinguished head ;-) God Bless, Nathan Quote
Brick Miner Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 but his mustache doesn't even grow in the center of his face :-D :-D :-D - BrickMiner Quote
highlandcattle Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 I love the Indian figures and the two chinese soldiers that come with the Adventure boat. I always wonder why people who like the middle ages make uniform armies like on the pictures in this thread. Its not like soldiers had uniforms in those days. Quote

Governor Mister Phes Posted October 12, 2006 Governor Posted October 12, 2006 It would have to be this guy: Ooooooo! He's not in the Wild West, Adventurers, Classic Castle, Knights Kingdom, Vikings, or Ninja theme! Quote
ghoulrealm Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 I like the ghost first the skeleton takes a close second, though I don't recal it but from some pirate sets. I know they are both in a the latest "KK classic castle set." I don't choose these just because of the holiday season,.. I promise! Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted October 17, 2006 Author Posted October 17, 2006 You know, I never had a ghost (as much as I like Ghost Town's and all). Good choice and not as common as one would think. Quote
WhiteFang Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Once again, I had dug out of the past threads that are buried for almost 2 years. It's time for me to revive it. Was actually finding a similar topic like this, thought of creating something like that earlier. I am glad Brickster had done it 2 years ago. My most desired mini-fig will be the lost forgotten White Ninja Princess. Well, not really forgotten. But, it was a figure that I wanted the most. Well, I know there are Bricklink and eBay around. I am still having preceptions to do online transactions. Till then, this figure will have to wait. My top 3 favourite figure will be as followed The White Knight from the Black Knights Castle. A Forestmen and A Black Falcon soldier! These are my favourite figures from my Classic era, and no new castle themes can easily replaced them from my heart. Quote
Shadows Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Once again, I had dug out of the past threads that are buried for almost 2 years. It's time for me to revive it. Was actually finding a similar topic like this, thought of creating something like that earlier. I am glad Brickster had done it 2 years ago. This predates my joining the site, and it looks like it was a good conversation that I'm sure could use revisiting. I own all of your examples except that Ninja Princess, and she is on my "actively seeking" list, much as this lovely was until recently. So, in terms of favourites, I tend to think of what I don't have, as opposed to what I do, which is probably the wrong way to look at it, but that's how it goes. Basically, I'm buying all the female castle/ninja figures I can find. I think I own every adventurers figure made, or close to it (they aren't hard to get), which leaves Wild West, and I'm close to having all of those as well. It's technically Pirates, but I really need one of these (and he works well in historical non-Pirate settings as well). So, in a way, that does fit the subject, since those are my most desired minifigs. In terms of things that don't exist: 1. Any military of any country, ever. 2. Generic Castle folk. 3. Female figures in any historical line (or current line for that matter). Quote
Shoc Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Once again, I had dug out of the past threads that are buried for almost 2 years. It's time for me to revive it. Haha, I see how you got your title, "Dead Thread Reviver". Thanks for reviving it! My most desired mini-fig will be the lost forgotten White Ninja Princess. Well, not really forgotten. But, it was a figure that I wanted the most. My top 3 favourite figure will be as followed The White Knight from the Black Knights Castle. A Forestmen and A Black Falcon soldier! These are my favourite figures from my Classic era, and no new castle themes can easily replaced them from my heart. Those are all very cool, some of my favourites from the castle theme (I don't own them either), but my favourite historical/adventure figures would be... I own all of these, but I wouldn't want to part with them. Achu, because he just has so much design and coolness on him! Pharaoh Hotep's mummy, since I got him I have loved that fig, I was/am very much in to Ancient Egypt. King Kahuka, he is just sooo cool looking, like the other Islanders, and I love his mask! Maybe I would add Basil the Batlord too, he is just cool. It seems I like leaders with big headresses and fancy clothes! :skull: Quote
I Scream Clone Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 My dark ages were quite a long time (bout 15 yrs) so i missed pretty much everything! I remember wanting lots more of these original knights and wishing for the rare ones too All of these have caught my eye, thanks to you guys! - The Mummy from Desert Adventurers - Green Forestman (black feather) (i have some with red, blue and yellow from BL already!) - And maybe the Emperor's Guard from Orient Expedition This ghost is very cool too (and perhaps some wolfpack) Quote
Dwarvenlord Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Maybe I would add Basil the Batlord too, he is just cool. I have to agree with that one, also because it's one of my first castle figs ... I think The Admiral and the soldiers from the Imperial guard theme are also pretty cool, and the forestmen and black falcons are also lovely, a pity that i don't own any of them . Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 For me, just about any classic castle, WW and pirate would do nicely, as I lack many of those sets. Quote
Fluyt Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 There's lots of minifigs I desire, but mostly I would want the forestwoman, the princess from 6081 - King's mountain fortress, female islander (even thought I probably won't get all of them because of the very high price on some of them, especially for the forestwoman). And allthought I have these: I wouldn't mind a couple of extra blue or red admirals, "anchor chest tattoo" pirate, the "merchant" from 6277 or 6286 and classic castle minifigs (and minifigs from the black falcon/lion knights era). Quote
JimBee Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Hmmmm..... Johnny Thunder is one that i like. Ninja's are cool too. But that ghost...it kind of grosses me out, reminds me of rotteen cheese or something... Quote
G.L.MAN Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 (edited) well this might be a crazy suggestion but cant i desire to have all the sets plus the minifigs but if i had to pick one i would pick hhhmmmmthe green ninja http://www.1000steine.com/brickset/images/3346-1.jpg and maybe the black forestmen awww i coudlnt find a good pic ohhh well and that pretty much it for now but i still lots of other figs to see Edited July 5, 2008 by G.L.MAN Quote
iamded Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 Hmm. Good topic, The Brickster. My most desired minifigs from the H&A theme would have to be... The Dragon Knight captain from this set (part of a value pack, it came with a small pirate set as well). I definately want want of those Forestmen (or was that Dark Forestmen?) guys with the black feather. And lastly, well, who doesn't want a ninja? Ninjas were definately up there on my favourite themes list. Right up there with Rock Raiders and Castle '07. So add a black ninja to my most desired figs list. ~Peace Quote
BlueBard Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 I really loved this one (Well, just look at my avatar! LOL ) Quote
Tanotrooper Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 A figure I still purchase when I see it cheap somewhere is this one, Baron Von Baron: 1) pit helmet for zulu wars etc. 2) white epaulettes for armies (pirates etc.) 3) great torso for armies (WWII etc. ) 4) hook hand (I must have 5 of them or so, but can never seem to find 2 in good condition ) same applies for this one: 1) pith helmet 2) great torso for maffia mocs etc TT Quote
Tacitus Posted July 5, 2008 Posted July 5, 2008 (edited) Great question. And a great way for me to waste my time. I looked through all of the mini-figs in all of those lines in the bricklink catalog With bricklink, it's hard to "miss out on a mini-fig". I loved the detail of the Wild West and the Vikings are great! But, I based my answer on availability and post-market price. During my dark ages I missed these two female characters: Oh, I am totally with you here. Edited July 5, 2008 by Tacitus Quote
