Nur watches as Alf quickly catches the frog. While he waits for Alexis to attempt communication, Nur bends down and blows on the sapphire with his breath hoping his "wind" would make the gem come alive.

Atramor watches Alf grab a frog and Nur blow on one of the gems. He blinks in some skepticism.

"Hmmm...I have an idea, but I'm gonna need all you mages to cooperate. And not be greedy."

Atramor motions for Alexis to put her Opal across from the Ruby, Nur to put his Garnet across from the Sapphire, and Namyrra to put her Topaz across from the Aquamarine. And for the hell of it, the Amethyst across from the Emerald.

"Hope this works."

Ellaria taps her lips as she tries to think of a possible solution to this puzzle they had encountered.

"Atramor, I like your thinking. Maybe the inlaid gems need an opposing gem to be placed adjacent of them. If that does not work, our mages should use their magical abilities on the gems to see if they react."

"Yes, I definitely think Atramor is onto something here, so I'm willing to give it a shot." Namyrra proceeds to place her Amethyst across from the Emerald, and place her Topaz across from the Aquamarine.

Some of the party members place their gems in the pedestals, but nothing happens. Alexis talks to the frog.

"Ribbit. I've seen this door opened many times. Unfortunately us frogs have *ribbit* very poor memories, so I can't remember how the gems go. Have you tried pushing them? I think that's what the wizard does."

The sapphire doesn't move.

"Ribbt, maybe it has something to do with the elements? Ribbit."

"That's what I was thinking....Alf, see if there's anything buried around here, perhaps the other gems."

Alf deciding he was the strongest member of the party, tries pushing each of the gems. Then a thought occurs to him.

"Alexis, you say he sees 'wizard'? I thought those not wizard, also ribbit say many times, Alf not think they been here long time."

Alf goes back to his work, digging and trying to push the gems.

Alf digs, and finds nothing. Ellaria pushes the ruby, and the pedestal sinks back into the wall. The ruby reappears in the top right alcove.

Atramor claps the side of the door with a grin.

"Great job, Ellaria. Well, they do something..."

He rubs his chin, and attempts to push the Aquamarine.

"Hmm. Nur, could I see that medallion? Maybe it's got something for us?"

"Apart from that I have a feeling we need to push them in a specific order, I had one idea, but that won't work due to the Ruby, so it's probably not the right one."

"Very interesting that the pedestal sank into the wall now though.. maybe we should try pushing the other ones too?"

Namyrra tries pushing the Aquamarine

Almost crashing into Atramor Namyrra decides in the very last second to instead push the Emerald

Atramor and Namrrya push the pedestal with the aquamarine. It also sinks in, and reappears in the second-highest alcove in the middle column.

Namrrya then tries to push the emerald, but it doesn't move.

Atramor attempts to the push the Ruby again.

"Hmmm..."

Alf, puzzled by the mystery, decides to continually push the ruby gem 10 times and records where it moves each time.

Alf and Namrrya, who seem to have forgotten, see if the medallion has and clues to opening the door.

Alf and Namrrya inspect Edward's medallion. The family heirloom depicts what seems to be a boat of arms: two crossed swords in front of a torch and an eye. The medallion doesn't appear to have anything to do with the gems and the wall.

With this new pattern, Alf pushes the aquamarine 11 times, and the emerald and sapphire 12 times.

QM Note: You're going to have to be more specific, or move one gem at a time.

OoC: Edited it as you were posting...

With this new pattern, Alf pushes the aquamarine 11 times, and the emerald and sapphire 12 times.

QM Note: You're still going to have to be more specific. Would you like to push the Aquamarine 11 times, and then push emerald 12 times, and then push the sapphire 12 times?
