Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted September 28, 2006 Eurobricks Emperor Posted September 28, 2006 Is there a way to insert an image (that is on brickshelf for example) in a thread and resize it somehow to make it smaller without changing the actual .jpg? With [ img]image.jpg[/img] one can display an image (that I know). But in html you can do something like <img src="image.jpg" alt="" width="220" height="295">. Is there a similar command existing ? Thanks for helping. B. Quote
Commander Wolf Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 I'm pretty sure that IPB doesn't let you resize images with the tags by default, but there may or may not be a mod to allow it somewhere out there. Quote
snefroe Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 no, as Apo once explained, you're gonna have to open your picture in 'paint' or so and change the dimensions and save it as a new file so you won't change the original, then you're going to have to redo the process of uploading into bs and relinking into your post here all over again... El Bucanero Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 I believe you have corel draw and you should use that instead of paint, if you use paint you'll ruin the resolution, take a look in the help center from corel draw and you'll probarly find a way to resize your images ;-) Quote

El Bucanero Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 I have it and I assure you it does! :-P Quote

Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted October 4, 2006 Author Eurobricks Emperor Posted October 4, 2006 I have coreldraw 12 (use it to design my torso's, ...). And I know it can export to .jpg format with coreldraw. For resizing images I use Corel Paint Shop Pro X or Irfanview. BUT.... the question is: Can I display a big image in a smaller format in the forum (without touching the .jpg in any way)? This is possible in html (command is in the beginning of this thread) and I hoped there would be a similar command to do that in the forum. Quote

Jipay Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 big pics are automatically resized, so shouldn't be a problem Quote
