Emergency Bricks - Lego Niche Site

Forgive me if linking to another site isn't allowed here, I searched the rules and didn't see anything that said "No. Don't do that!" :)

I am Dakota, a lurker here at EuroBricks and an admin over at Emergency Bricks.

We are a LEGO® oriented community geared towards the emergency services: Police, Fire & EMS. We are the first forum community of our kind for our niche and gaining members quickly which is nice. I just wanted to share an invite for any interested emergency services enthusiasts to drop by and share their creations and tips if you'd like.

Though i think this is a great idea (your comunity), this thread probabaly will be shut down. But comerning your lego cominity and forum, I think its awesome!

I do not work for law enforcement, or any other other emergency type agency, but i do build emergency vehicles for a living. Everything from police, fire, ems, swatt and mobile command vehicles. I'll stop by and say hi!

It's a respectable forum idea, I once attempted a similar forum, though more based on military.

Best thing to do with your site if you want to bring in more members, is do something with it that is unique. making it theme specific is a start, but you really need to have something that grabs attention

But as presumed topics like this are against the guidelines, as stated under the "Self promotion" section,

Please don't use Eurobricks as a billboard. You may certainly post links to your site in your signature, but don't join just to advertise your site. This includes reviews/MOCs posted on off-site forums.

So two times you comment that you think it might not be alled, yet you post it anyway. As an admin on your own site I'm sure you don't let people who rarely participate in your forum to use your forum like their personal billboard and in our guidelines we express this concern.

Selling and self promotion: New members are not allowed to sell/trade on this site, but we do allow long term members to do so in the Buy/Sell/Trade/Finds forum; be sure to read the rules to this forum before posting there. We occasionally allow exclusions to this rule but you need to contact the staff first. We NEVER allow the personal message system to be used to spam or contact members to make sales offers.
