Looked for other people's stolen stuff. You'd think there would be more to heroing, but oh well, hidey ho and what the hell. Let's go down the other path branching off the green room once we get back there."
January 7, 201213 yr Author The group continues to the other area. Walking down the hallway they hear ominous voices. Before they even reach the room, a bolt of energy shoots through Johonns. His eyes widen, then he falls backward onto the ground. It is unclear if he is still alive. What will the party do?
January 7, 201213 yr Boomingham immediately takes action. Although his size and physical ability don't always remind others of it, he did once, many years ago, command a decent sized troop. "Shash, Heinike, follow me into the room. Get behind my shield so that any other damage won't be potentially lethal. Marvelo, Jeff, please grab Johonns and bring him back to the green room. Benji, you are to remain here. If something, and look, I'm not saying it will, but if something happens to me and these two blokes I need you to run to Marvelo and alert him. When or if that happens, Jeff you are to retreat with Johonns immediately and go back to your village and tell them what has happened. Benji, Marvelo, you are to return here and try to free or save myself, Shash, and Heinike. If we are dead or rescue is impossible, flee." Boomingham stared at all of them, sweat dripping down his face, his eyes unforgiving, daring anyone to object. This is a different side of him. "Let's go ahead then."
January 7, 201213 yr Despite the look in Boominghams eyes Amorith feels he must object. "What if you need my magic, Boomingham, or my potions. Let me come with you instead of Shash."
January 7, 201213 yr Boomingham sweats a little more. He looks at the others. "Alright, fine, that sounds fine." Boomingham blinked rapidly. He was happy to have Marvelo with him, in all honesty, though he had been trying to spare his friend in what he thought may be a suicide mission. Boomingham had no disillusions. His work so far had been easy and safe, but heroes were not immune to death. It could happen, easily. It hadn't happened yet... "Marvelo, with me, but if something happens, you're the first to flee." Boomingham grabs another mead from his sack, and encourages Marvelo to do the same. "Bottoms up. To steady the nerves."

All at once, they hear a strange voice, something between a monster, human, and talking with the sounds of scraping metal. "Ragh! Stupid guards. So you think you are so special?
