Jargo Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 I'm very eager for Lego to release more non-Batman characters from DC. I couldn't agree more. And I'm sure Lego would love to produce more of the lesser heroes. But the market is always going to respond more favourably to the most well known heroes. Unfortunately that means Batman, Superman and Spiderman. Personally I'd like to see The Punisher vs Jigsaw as a set. With a Motorbike and lots of beefy weapons. Microchip as an additional minifig would be nice, but not essential. However, given that The Punisher is not a super powered character and is by nature a remorselessly violent vigilante anti-hero I can't see Lego ever touching anything Punisher related. Quote

This Purist Superhero page is pretty popular here on the pages and really interesting so maybe take a look there Avengers 2 is two years away so it seems a little silly to be in serious discussions about it now. Back on topic...As I said in the 2013 rumors page, I really hope for another Iron Man 3 set that would include some of Tony's suit from his Iron Legion. I know it is an incredible long shot at this point but it would be amazing nonetheless Quote

Its probably better to spread them out so we can as many of the X-Men team members as possible. My suggestion would be: X-Mansion - Proffessor X - Wolverine as "Logan" - Emma Frost - Beast - Angel - Sabertooth - Juggernaught (maxi-fig) Blackbird/X-Jet - Cyclops - Jean Grey - Gambit - Rogue - Mystique - Possibly a Brotherhood henchmen (Pyro, Quicksilver, Avalanche etc) Sentinel - Storm - Nightcrawler - Iceman Danger Room - Wolverine (Masked) - Colossus - Kitty Pryde There's still a couple of secondary X-Men left (Psylocke, Forge, Jubilee, Havok etc) members of the Brotherhood and other 3rd party villains (Apocalypse, Mister Sinister, Lady Deathstrike etc) but at least most of the essential characters would have been covered. Really, about the only Batvehicle left is the Copter, before LEGO starts making up vehicles like the Batbuggy. I'm really hoping for a Batcopter next year. I'm thinking LEGO drags along Batman next year, then focuses on the Justice League movie. IMDB lists a The Flash movie for 2014- is that still happening? Quote

I'm guessing next year will focus more on the villian's vehicles (I smell a remake of the Hammer Truck set) and Robin, and maybe one or two Batman vehicles. I also predict one full January wave for Batman, kind of like 2012, with no other set releases for DC for the year. But, I'm not sure. Quote
