legofreak86 Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 (edited) Gosh, at this point Im thinking we will get some Arkham Origins inspired sets. At least a set with Deathstrke in it... Maybe for Marvel we Agent Coulson's flying sports car! Could be a re-build of Nick Furys flying car! The car flies? really in the agents of shield series it flies? Or is that just a play feature you think of. Edited September 26, 2013 by legofreak86 Quote

The Brigante Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 Blimey! Sorry i'm in the uk so I haven't seen the episode yet but tomorrow I will at 8pm! Lucky guy... I have to help run a Fresher's party tomorrow so I won't get to see it until Saturday at the earliest! I do hope we get a Coulson figure though, so I was thinking that a set with Coulson and his team, plus maybe the jet that was shown in the trailer would make a good set. Long shot, but it gives us a bunch of SHIELD agents (minus the iconic outfit, but who's counting) Quote

Long shot, but it gives us a bunch of SHIELD agents (minus the iconic outfit, but who's counting) agreed we really need a Coulson. There are four possibilities there. 1. he appears in an ultimate spider man set, 2. he appears in either cap 2 or thor 2 and they throw him into one of the two sets, 3. they do a retailer or Lego exclusive agents of shield set, 4. they finally do a helicarrier as a dc2 winter exclusive either next or this year and he comes in that. Audiences who watch the films don't necessarily watch the TV show, so they'd be mighty confused on his return. Also, I think much of the long term storyline of Agents of SHIELD will deal with Coulson's return, so it couldn't be given a one sentence explanation in an upcoming movie. Retailer exclusive sounds plausible though! Back on topic, for Guardians of the Galaxy, I'd like to see this (but I doubt it will be released seeing as how small the sets in this theme usually are): Star-Lord's Ship [whichever version they decide] ($70-100): Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket Raccoon, Drax the Destroyer, Groot (in pot). Yeah definitely retail exclusive or USM set those I fear are the only ways unless they release either the game story on blu ray like with batman or finally do a helicarrier set in 2015 for avengers 2. North Lego Star Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 I would love to see some dark knight sets. wesker Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 I'd love to see a Shi'ar Starship and Shi'ar Dreadnought. Lego love their vehicles and it would be a great way to get more X-Men sets. It also gives us a chance to get Dark Phoenix, Lilandra, Gladiator, D'Ken and Deathbird. Quote
korpen4444 Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 Here are my DC dream sets. Wayne Manor: Bruce, Alfred, Dick, Barbara, Batman,Robin,Batgirl, Penguin, 2 goons. I love concepts for the builds and especially how the Minifigs relate to each. Having the original team with the Mansion; Storm, Colossus, and Nightcrawler vs. a Sentinel. Excellent ideas. The only characters I would like to see besides these are Shadowcat and The Brood. I mean, the small alien embryos from the recent Galaxy Squad sets look quite a bit like Brood except their scale is a little small. Edited September 30, 2013 by Colossus Quote
Dr Leg O Brick Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 Great ideas wesker! As I said before, and I will add a bit more here, about the battle packs. Here's my ideas: SHEILD, Brood, Kree, Skrull, Atlantian, Hydra, AIM, Hand, Mandroid, Doombot, Hellfire club, and Badoon battlepacks, with foot troopers, some sort of vehicle and some battlements (think Cap's Avenging cycle set) and parts to turn one of these foot troopers into a higher ranking officer. I addition to these packs, you could maybe have a £25 set, a base or hideout, like a SHEILD clean up crew with Hulk and a Hulkbuster Iron Man, or a Hydra Base with Baron Strucker, Madame Viper, and Cap, or a Kree lab with the Supreme Intelligence and Ronan The Accuser, or a Brood hatchery, or the inside of the Hellfire club. People will pay £100s for Clone Troopers, and I know people like army building, so why not exploit that? Quote
KingPixels Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Don't know if it's already been mentioned, but the flying car from the SHIELD pilot actually came from the original comics in '65. Quote
just2good Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Okay, Brick Con is tomorrow. The D2C that I expect to be revealed is X-Mansion. $150-$180. All the figures will have existing molds. Think of it as the Diagon Alley of the 2011 Harry Potter sets. Released in January with the rest released in June-ish. This is speculation at the moment, so I'll leave it here, but I'm like 75% sure this is gonna be tomorrow's reveal. MARK MY WORDS Quote

RelicRaider Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Hi, I'm new here, this is my first post XD I, personally don't mind seeing more batman sets, but seeing as you get another version of the Dark Knight in each one, I wouldn't mind seeing Nightwing make an appearance with a bike of some sorts fighting off a couple villains, but as for a specific set, well, I'm not sure, I'm usually not that creative when it comes to thinking up LEGO set ideas. :P Also, seeing as the X Men haven't made much of an appearance other than Wolverine, I wouldn't mind seeing a set featuring the full ensemble cast. And a few villains. I know that'd be an expensive set, but I'm sure people would buy it. Quote

Yes, The last time a SHEILD flying car was last seen in the comics, to my knowledge, was in Age Of Ultron this year. It was a big thing back then in the 60's, and when I was a kid (not in 65, but a bit later) I loved them, a flying car belonging to a spy agency, not to mention the great Nick Fury. I actually would love either Coulson's flying car from MAOS or the comics Nick Fury's flying Ferrari. Edited October 5, 2013 by Dr Leg O Brick Quote

I think a Marvel D2C will be released in 2015, Stark Tower or the Helicarrier for Avengers 2 (if they appear in the film, most likely they will). Stark Tower: $250, 2500+ parts Similar size to the Tower of Orthanc, 24" high. Several levels with interior details. Minifigs: Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Falcon, Nick Fury, Maria Hill, Agent Coulson and Ultron. Quote
wesker Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 I prefer we get the X-Mansion before Stark Tower or the Helicarrier. We've already gotten plenty of sets from the Avengers/Iron Man, but only the one X-Men set. Quote

Yeah, and that X-Men set has only one X-Man so to speak. the mansion would be a good opportunity to get a good few of the group in minifigure form. Quote
Legoman123 Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 (edited) What do you guys recon is going to happen with the summer wave of sets for 2015? I mean there is the Batman vs. Superman film, then there's the Avengers Age of Ultron film, and Ant Man. So assuming the Avengers get four sets again, and the Batman vs. Superman sets get three sets like Man of Steel, how many would Ant-Man get? Lego may have to increase the amount of sets that they give us in the summer wave. Any thoughts from anyone? Edited October 13, 2013 by Legoman123 Quote
Piranha Posted October 14, 2013 Author Posted October 14, 2013 I could see Ant-Man getting 1-2 sets in 2015, depending on how many Avengers 2 sets TLG decides to make. If LEGO has acquired a license with Fox, I would like to see a set featuring the Adamantium Silver Samurai mech suit from The Wolverine. Quote
