Legoman123 Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 I'd love to see Lego release a Blackbird similar to this. It looks exactly like the one from the 90s cartoon. http://lego.cuusoo.c...deas/view/46830 Wow that would actually be really cool! Think I'm going to go over there and support it. Quote
Elrond Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 It might be a bit too late for that now but I would have liked a set with the Batpod and TDKR Catwoman. Although I'm not really a fan of the movie, I kinda liked the design of the Hydra tanks from Captain America First Avenger. Quote
Piranha Posted November 12, 2013 Author Posted November 12, 2013 These are my guesses for what will appear in the 2014 Marvel sets: - Mary Jane, Falcon, Red Skull, Luke Cage, Taskmaster and MODOK will be the same designs from the game - Captain America will have his Winter Soldier costume - Thor will have a new helmet/hair piece combo mold from the mini series - Hulk will have purple pants and a alternate expression - Spider-man in 76015 will have his Amazing Spider-man 2 costume - Doc Ock will have a new comic design - The Guaridans of the Galaxy set will be based on the movie (set wise) but will feature the comic designs for the minifigs from the game - Groot will be a big fig - Winter Soldier (polybag) will be the S@H offer for April - Stan Lee will be the promo fig for a Marvel book - The X-men set will feature Cyclops and other new characters Quote
Merc4hire95 Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 For DC I'd love some green lantern sets, possibly inspired by the animated series. As for Marvel, I'd love to see a captain America set with the red skull and Bucky or winter soldier. Vehicle based sets mainly with extra structures(buildings, terrain pieces etc.). Quote

In addition to that I think the X-men set(s) might have Professor Xavier, Mystique, Jean Grey and maybe Beast in addition to Cyclops. Also, I'm hoping the Cap set has his First Avenger outfit since he is fighting the Red Skull and the set seems to be a belated CA:TFA set. Edited November 13, 2013 by halomaster96 Quote
BrickG Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Anything that doesn't spam me Spiderman, Batman or Iron Man minifigures. Quote
korpen4444 Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 (edited) I want an AA Quintjet: Cap, Hulk, IM, Hawkeye, BW, Thor, Falcon, super adaptoid. Chitauri warship: Korvac, RR, Star Lord, Spider-man, Nova, Groot, 4 Chitauri. It could be a D2C set. That and a stark tower. BTW, does anyone else notice Marvel's missing a set this year? Piranha Posted November 13, 2013 Author Posted November 13, 2013 BTW, does anyone else notice Marvel's missing a set this year? Yes, I am guessing they decided to save that production slot for 2014. So far, there are at least 8 Marvel sets in 2014 ( 3 USM, 2 Avengers, 1 Juniors, 1 X-men and 1 Guardians of the Galaxy). Quote

wesker Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 I hope X-Men gets more than just the one set. The lack of attention its gotten since the line started has been pretty disapointing. Quote
Piranha Posted November 14, 2013 Author Posted November 14, 2013 I hope this means 8 sets for DC as well, but how likely is that with the limited material being released? Well, DC has 5 known sets next year, and Green Lantern hasn't appeared yet. If you add the totals, DC would need only 2 sets next year to be equivalent to Marvel (overall). We haven't had a retailer exclusive in some time, so I expect at least one set with Green Lantern. The other production slot could be saved for the Batman vs Superman film in 2015. Or they can expand to real Justice League sets (pipe dream). Quote

The Real Walkers Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Hi all, So, I'd lost hope with the licensed thread after Harry Potter was finished, I got some LOTR lego but, otherwise, I've not been buying much. HOWEVER, I was watching a BrickQueen video and she said that, during the next wave of Marvel sets, there will be some X-men sets. Great I thought... Then I watched a video of a walkthrough of the X-men level in the new LEGO video game. The game was great, as was the retro costumes of the figures but does this mean we're going to get those costumes in the new sets? OR will we get the costumes of the new films? (mainly black with differing bits depending on character). For reference, and if you haven't seen it already, I'm adding the link to the new trailer which is good at showing said costumes: OR will we get the 'modern' costumes in the comics? I think I know what I want, but I'm interested as to what you guys all think Quote
Kerberos Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 I doubt we'll get the movie costumes; they're pretty lame anyway. They'll most likely use either the 90's cartoon costumes or the Astonishing costumes. The current Marvel Now stuff is probably too much. Quote
Legoman123 Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 I hope we don't get movie costumes... that would be awful. Quote
The Real Walkers Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 I hope we don't get movie costumes... that would be awful. Do you think we will though...? Just as a way of marketing obviously etc Quote
jonwil Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 A lot depends on how the deals are structured, i.e. does LEGO have the right to make movie x-men products or whether they would need to negotiate separately with Fox to get that right. Quote
Mr. Elijah Timms Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 What we'll get: Cyclops, Wolverine w/ mask, Storm, Gambit, maybe Jean Grey and/or Prof. X. What I want: Cyclops, Wolverine, Storm, COLOSSUS!!, Nightcrawler, Beast, Shadowcat Quote
JeagerEX Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 OR will we get the 'modern' costumes in the comics? I really agree on that. Quote
HawkLord Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 I'm hoping for more of the 80s - 90s costumes, as they're more eye-catching and recognizable. Sure, Lego could sell some sets from the new movies and whatnot, but with all the minifigures wearing mostly black, it would be hard to appeal to parents. Granted Marvel has a ton of movies lined-up, I hope the Marvel license can be a type of "evergreen" theme in that we get non-movie sets mixed in. I was really happy with the Wolverine Chopper set, since it showcased figures not immediately in a movie. Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 @RealWalkers- I've merged your topic here. Quote
Piranha Posted November 16, 2013 Author Posted November 16, 2013 What are the five sets? I was only aware of four. The fifth one is the Juniors Batcave (10672). I agree, I want comic X-men minifigs, not the film ones. I think either the X-jet or a brick built Sentinel (mech) would be nice to have. The X-jet could be $50-$70 and include 5-6 figs. The Sentinel could be $20-$30 and include 3-4 figs. Quote
Tom Jurassic Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Would anyone else mind seeing a second, slightly larger Quinjet? I think it would be pretty cool, and could, of course, include Couslon. ;) Quote
