Freddy Bricker Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Would anyone else mind seeing a second, slightly larger Quinjet? I think it would be pretty cool, and could, of course, include Couslon. ;) I would glady accept another Quinjet, thing is though, it is way too early on in the theme to start re-making sets, especially since there are dozens of vehicles and locations from the comics that still need to be made, plus the amount of movie/T.V show based sets Lego is being told to make, I unfortuntely don't think we will get another in a while Quote
wesker Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 The main X-Men costumes I want are: - 90s cartoon Cyclops - 90s cartoon Beast - Modern Rogue with the Pepper Potts hairpiece - Jean Grey as Phoenix Besides those I don't have a preference, just as long as its from the comics. Quote
GandalfofHoth Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 I wonder, if we do get a beast, will it be a regular figure or hulk sized? I personally could see it as either and would like it either way, but I would prefer a Hulk sized figure over a regular one. Quote
rakky Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 (edited) Hulk sized would be way too big for The Beast, it would not make any sense, he is only just bigger than the other X-men. Edited November 17, 2013 by rakky Quote
Legoman123 Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Hulk sized would be way too big for The Beast, it would not make any sense, he is only just bigger than the other X-men. He will just be the same size as he is in the game. Quote
wesker Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 The design for Beast in the game is perfect. I wouldn't mind Colossus being a regular sized minifigure though. Quote
lifeinplastic Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 One grievance I do have if sets appear based on the game characters is Professor X's head stud. Now that Lego have made 'bald' pieces for minifigures (Grandpa and Shakespeare from the collectible lines),it seems wrong to have the big stud on show. Same with Lex Luthor I suppose. Quote
wesker Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 The 3DS/Vita version of the game has a few extra X-Men characters. Would love to get 90s Storm and both versions of Wolverine in a set. Quote
Suspsy Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 I'd like to see a great big Abomination, Juggernaut, or Rhino figure so the Hulk can finally have someone big to smash. And more female heroes. Storm, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, Spider-Woman, Wasp, Emma Frost. Any and all would be welcome. Quote

wesker Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 The X-Men alone has plenty of female heroes to choose from. Jean, Storm, Rogue, Kitty, Emma, Psylocke, Jubilee, X-23, Polaris. Not to mention all the villains and support characters like Mystique, Moira MacTaggart, Lady Deathstrike, Lilandra, Deathbird, Mariko, Yukio, Callisto, Marrow, Vertigo, Selene, Silverfox, Spiral, Shard, Arclight, Shanna etc. Shame the Marvel line won't come even close to giving us those characters. While I would gladly except all those minifigures to my collection, I must say that some don't even have a chance. However Jean Grey and Storm are practically begging to be made (what with their popularity and all). And Mystique has a pretty good chance too. I could see Polaris and Psylocke being made as SDCC exclusives, and maybe Rogue if the theme gets renewed for another 5=10 years. Sadly that would still leave a huge gap for possible minifig's. which is all the more reason the Lego group need to continue this line. Quote
korpen4444 Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 How about this: Lego Super Heroes Battle Packs Marvel: Chitauri: 4 Chitauri, 2 gliders, a barricade. Shield Agents: Coulson, 2 standard troops, 1 random agent, some vehicle. AIM & Hydra: 2 AIM troops, 2 Hydra soldiers, a small AIM truck. DC: League of Shadows: 3 LoS foot soldiers, 1 glider, 2 cycles, Red Robin, his cycle. Manta Soldiers: Black Manta, 3 Soldiers, 2 Assault subs, a mini outpost. Green Lanterns: Hal, 3 random alien GLs. Perfect for making a Green Lantern Core. I also thought of: League of Shadows Dojo: Ra's Al Ghul, Batman (variant similar to the BTAS version), Batgirl, Talia, 2 Foot soldiers. Tie in with the battle pack. Quote

Now that Lego have made 'bald' pieces for minifigures (Grandpa and Shakespeare from the collectible lines),it seems wrong to have the big stud on show. Same with Lex Luthor I suppose. That piece is grotesque!!! The stud on the head is one of Lego's hallmarks! Plus that piece would look oversized and rubbish on the prof or luthor!! It would be a sad day when Lego covers up one of the things that signify Lego's design! I really do love the sound of those sets! Now just to get Lego to make them. Sadly there is no guarantee we will even see anymore DC sets this year. TBH if we did I'd have liked to see something MOS krypton based, I'd kill for zod and jor el in krypton armour and lara and Haraka (dragon thing). Quote
wesker Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 There was a rumour that we'll be seeing Green Lantern next year so there's still a chance for more DC sets. Hopefully not all Batman themed with a guest Justice League character. A Krypton based set (or just more Superman in general) would be awesome. Regardless of whether we get more DC, I still hope we get more than one set for X-Men and Guardians of the Galaxy. Quote
greeny Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 DC set idea: Attack on the Fortress of Solitude: Superman, Supergirl, Green Lantern, Brainiac, Sinestro. £50 Includes a large facade of the Fortress of Solitude that is covered in lots of ice pieces. The inside is filled with various details from comics that can 'explode' as a play feature. Quote
Tom Jurassic Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 Reading the comments about Battlepacks, I feel that some of them could be pretty cool! :) Hydra Soldier Battlepack 1x Red Skull ( Trenchcoat and Cap, different to Prior Release), 2x Hydra Soldiers with Laser Guns, 1x Hydra Scientist with Vials. 1x Hydra Laser Turret with Flickfire Missiles and other Aesthetic Features. USM SHIELD Battlepack 1x Agent Coulson ( Suit and SHIELD Badge), 2x SHIELD Soldiers with Jetpacks and Rifles, 1x SHIELD Scientist with Vials. 1x SHIELD Helicopter with Flickfire Missiles and Cockpit. Freddy Bricker Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 How about something without Batman? Haha but seriously, I would love to see these: DC - Scarecrow and the Gotham invasion $50.00 1x Scarecrow 1x Batman 1x Huntress 1x Scared comic shop owner 1x Scared civilian A small comic book shop and a little helicopter for scarecrow to attack with. Comic shop comes with 10 different 2x2 flat tiles with printing of actual comic book from the DC Universe. Scarecrow helicopter shoots 2 different canisters with brown studs inside, and flick-fire missiles because why not? Gotham Knights $25.00 1x Green Arrow 1x Black Canary 1x Deathstroke 1x Black Mask Small Gotham harbour sidewalk with 5 different crates large enough to hold one minifigure each. Small little building with exploding function. The reason this set is called "Gotham knights" with no actual Batman is because I want more Gotham scenarios but if they were to be made, they'd have to come with a silly little Batman vehicle along with the Dark Knight, so the name here is really just a selling point to make kids unfamiliar with characters like Deathstroke and Black Canary to want to buy the set. Based on Arkham Origins, or at least the local is. Marvel - Oscorp showdown $130.00 1x Norman Osbourne 1x Harry Osbourne 1x Oscorp guard 1x Spiderman 1x Gwen stacy 1x Green Goblin Huge 5 story open back building with detailed interior, changing room, chemical lab, office, check-in desk and more. Classic Green Goblin and glider with feature to shoot out parts of the building Hulk's downtown showdown $50.00 1x Hulk (Big-fig) 1x Abomination (big-fig) 1x She Hulk 1x Bruce Banner 1x DBC reporter. Timesquare scenario with two large building covered in T.V panels and a giant screen showcasing the fight, a DBC helicopter with camera hovering over the two building and fight. Also includes Time squares big screen, on which the fight will be shown. Quote
legofreak86 Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 My Ideas for summer waves: DC: Jor El Citadel escape £49.99: includes Jor El's citadel a half dome building with a circular landing platform inside is an extended curved plate like with jabba's place with a claw holding superman's pod and various curved triangular structures near the walls. There is also a control panel with krypton tech displays on it. Also included is jor el's dragon type creature haraka and zod's gunship with cockpit and an open compartment to place figures in. The citadel has a circular door (like bag end) printed with the crest of the house of el that has a fall out of structure feature. Minfigures: Jor El: In new moulded armour of the house of el, using Luke skywalker's 2012 hairpiece in dark brown with a reddish brown cape and a rifle. General Zod in dark brown krypton military amour with his crest and a back cape no helmet uses his current hairpiece. 2 krypton guards wearing similar armour to zod one bald and one with mutt Williams style brown hair, lara in her dress with long brown hair and kelex a robot with face that Is a screen (printed). Arrow vs. The Dark Archer £19.99 Based on the arrow TV show includes arrow's dark green quad bike and a black sports car for the dark archer. Figures include: Arrow/Oliver Queen in his costume from the TV show, dark archer (TV show version) and John Diggle with pistol. Marvel: Anything from thor the dark world and hopefully something for cap 2. Quote
larsyuipo Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 asgard set x-mansion set (same size as arkham set) Quote
montgocloud Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Here's some stuff I'd like to see: LIKELY Sentinel Attack ($40): Wolverine (cowl), Cyclops, Jean Grey, Beast. Includes a large Sentinel built in the style of a mech. NOT SO LIKELY The Blackbird ($80): Professor X, Storm, Iceman, Nightcrawler, Magneto, Mystique. Includes the Blackbird (think Quinjet). Now, since the Blackbird isn't so likely, the more iconic characters like Storm will probably be seen in the potential Sentinel set. If there's only a Sentinel set, the character line-up should be: Wolverine (cowl), Cyclops, Storm, Beast. Quote
jondesouza Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 If the sets are going to be minifig driven I'd much rather have a random building to help create a street scene/diorama than a vehicle which makes no sense. That said, I'd much rather have a comic book location than anything else. Quote
