Jakon Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 ever since I tried to get extended mode this has been happening how do you fix this? Quote
Lalror Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 I cannot tell what the problem is from the image you provided. Is your display bad, or is there another problem? If you could be a little more specific that would be helpful. If you are however having problems with the display I suggest updating your graphics card drivers as those will have a direct affect on the way things look. ~Lalror Quote
Jakon Posted December 24, 2011 Author Posted December 24, 2011 ever since I tried to get extended mode this has been happening how do you fix this? Yes the display is messed up, and it seems to ruin the display for everything else while running, it happened when I tried to get unverse, and was stupid enough to leave LDD running. Quote
Lalror Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 Ok, I would first check to see if you can update your graphic card drivers. If that doesn't work then re-download LDD and re-access the Extended Mode. Sometimes you can fix things just by redoing them. Hope this works. ~Lalror Quote
Brickdoctor Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 My first thought was that that looked like a GIF with very few colors. Maybe your monitor got set to display a limited set of colors? Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 I would try updating you graphic card drivers or investing in a new graphic card. Jakon Posted December 25, 2011 Author Posted December 25, 2011 I have a 500Mb graphics card, I've redownloaded LDD over 30 times, :P Quote
DLuders Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 @ Jakon: Try these steps: 1) Open Lego Digital Designer. Press Cntl-Alt-Delete to get to open your Windows Task Manager. 2) Once in Task Manager, go to the "Processes" tab and find LDD.exe. Right-click on it and look at its "Properties." 3) Once in the "Properties" window, go to the "Compatibility" tab and check-off the box that allows you to "Run this program in compatibility mode for...Windows XP (Service Pack 2)." Press the "Apply" button at the lower-right, then "OK" and back out of the various windows. 4) Close LDD and restart it. If it still doesn't correct your problem, then undo the Compatibility Mode steps and hope somebody else here on Eurobricks has a better idea. Quote
