Norro Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 I just posted this in the pirates section in answer to Mr. Phes, and than realized there are a lot of people here who missed the old Lugnet days and may not use CC that much so I thought I would put this up for your information. Uhhhh... Who is JoJo? You refer to this person as though you know them but you've just discovered something new about them. He is a castle builder (mostly) who has been around for ages on Lugnet and more lately CC. His MOCs range from the simple: (pic=link to gallery) To the large: (pic=link to gallery) and are all known for detail: and clever, realistic touches: His Brickshelf Gallery. Overkill I know, but if you look around you'll see why he is one of the best MOCers online... I mean that: is just ingenious! Nathan Oh and his My Images gallery: Quote

Athos Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 Who is JoJo "Jo Jo was a man who thought he was a loner But he knew it couldn't last Jo Jo left his home in Tucson, Arizona for some California grass Get back, get back Get back to where you once belonged Get back, get back Get back to where you once belonged Get back Jo Jo" Steve, who can't believe someone didn't beat him to this... gylman Posted September 30, 2006 Posted September 30, 2006 That stuff is so nice it makes me want to cry, and then throw away everything I have ever built. I have copied his little furniture MOCs many times. I am just finishing up a new moving keychain display with a castle / adventurers theme, just need a couple more weeks for some parts to arrive. But, frankly, after seeing his stuff I am embarrassed to show mine. Quote
Norro Posted September 30, 2006 Author Posted September 30, 2006 But, frankly, after seeing his stuff I am embarrassed to show mine. I always feel the same way.. but there is no other way to climb the skill ladder... God Bless, Nathan Quote

Djole Posted September 30, 2006 Posted September 30, 2006 Well, all I have to say about this is that Johannes is the first person that I spot when I started to use LEGO internet pages... I wondered often why he Quote

Cutty Posted September 30, 2006 Posted September 30, 2006 Jojo's a guy from my town (never met him though). He is a fairly active poster on 1000steine.de and even owns a website for his creations (of which I currently lack a link, and the motivation to acquire one...). On 1000steine he is known for witty, sometimes cynical, comments on everything and, of course, his most awesome MOCing skills. One could say he mastered mockery and MOCerie as well ^^ Quote
Norro Posted September 30, 2006 Author Posted September 30, 2006 He is also an avid contrapost to all things related to the 2004 colour change. So I don't know whether he still actively collects newer castle-sets. I doubt it however... As of 2005 on CC he still was... and yes, he and others make me almost want to learn german so I too can use 1000steine... God Bless, Nathan Quote
KMOI Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 My goodness. JoJo is truly the king/master/celestrial figure of MOCs. After seeing that tower creation of his, I'm left completely and utterly speechless. I just really love how he uses the stairs on both the inside and the outside. Plus, fact that it's so flawlessly integrated gives me multiple cardiac arrests! I ought to get a defribilator if I want to check out the rest of his Brickshelf folder! Quote
Norro Posted October 2, 2006 Author Posted October 2, 2006 My goodness. JoJo is truly the king/master of MOCs. Indeed X-D God Bless, Nathan Quote
