Want my dream job? Well get in line behind me as I'm going to apply!

Community coordinator

Do you have a passion for the LEGO Brand? And do you see yourself building relationships with and supporting the growing number of Adult LEGO Fans in Western Europe?

You will be part of Community Operations as the fifth team member, where two colleagues are based in Billund and two based in Enfield in the US. You will be the general contact person for the growing number of LEGO User Groups (LUGs) in Western Europe. You area of responsibility will be to build and maintain relationships with LUGs through consultation, event support, online interaction and in-person meetings. In doing so, you will be participating in LUG meetings and events, and you will work closely with LEGO Market offices in the region. You ensure that the feedback you receive through your engagement and dialogue with the LUGs, is passed on to the right people internally in the LEGO Group.

Hmmm, nothing about payment or secondery conditions in it...? :look:

Yeah I've had the same thought. I'm applying regardless. If I get an offer I'll decide then if it's worth packing up my family and 500,000 LEGO pieces and moving 10,000 km.

Sounds fun! It certainly would be great to have you Siegfried as Community coordinator, good luck! I would apply if I knew anything about dialogue!

Sounds like this is right up your alley Sieg. I wish you the best of luck in being selected.

Well I've applied already! A piece of advice for anyone who applies; all cover letters must be under 1289 characters. I found out that after I wrote one 3 times bigger...

Hmmm, I have an IT background, and am active in the Lego fan community ... I don't speak the languages mentioned, but I do speak German ... Working for TLG would be great fun ... but I've just started a new job here, and really couldn't move to Western Europe much as I'd love to.

Good Luck Siegfried :-) I think you have a good friendly personality that should suit you to the job.
