Many thanks for the review.

I love the presence of 2 factions in one box - how it should be IMHO, since this is a 'Battle Pack' after all. The cannon is worth having, and the minifigs are excellent.

I don't mind paying a bit more if I feel I'm getting more in return, and this hits the spot - interesting content and excellent quality.

I am torn in regards to the double-faction sets. However, this is a nice canon-styled set (no made-up vehicles for this year's Battle Packs) However, seeing this review, then I have to agree that this is a great army building set.

Oooh I say, I may have to dip into my wallet for this. One thing that bugs me is the fact the ARF trooper has no leg priniting. Small inconsostencies like that really really really annoy me. Anyway, I shall rectify that somehow when I get the set. Is the ARC trooper Commander Colt?

Wow this is arguably the best battle pack yet. My only buff with this set is that it includes droids and clones. I can see where TLG is getting at to give kids all you need to play in one box, but I'm not a fan of it. Still, I will definitely be emptying my Lego store once these roll around. Thanks for the review.

I have added a picture to the review with all four minifigs side by side so height differences can be seen and a red visor to the Elite/ARC clone.

Thanks for adding the pics :)

This set looks great, my only complaint would be about the cannon, it just looks incomplete.

I wonder what the Arc Trooper would look like if the white arms were swapped with the red arms from the ARF trooper?

To continue your point of the £2 rise, Argos has said on their website that prices are subject to change at a later date.

Additional Information

Current selling price valid until 20/01/2012

So I guess the prices may drop, back down to £9.99, at the date specified above.

Anyway, a wonderful review. I have bought this and the other BP along with Droid Escape.

Not sure if someone has said it yet but I had a feeling the ARF trooper was part of Rancor Battalion?

Yes it's meant to be Commander Colt of Rancor Battalion.

I'll wait a month or so and it'll be on Amazon for £8.95 :classic:.

I hope the canon you get with the set isn't too small because if its tiny it would be worth about as much as the 2011 clone battle pack speeder. If the canon sucks i guess the figures will make up for it.

I bought this yesterday and was pleasantly surprised at the size of the cannon. It's one of my favourite battlepack vehicles so far.

I agree. The transparent 2x2 round brick underneath the cannon made it even better. Now I can finally stick it onto my baseplate.
