a typical small car in Denmark

Hmmmm... the typical danish car could be either a Toyota or a VW. You se a lot of small Toyota Aygo's around here.

Maybe you could use a Cars 2 Ligthning McQueen piece for the curvy backlights  I just love this new theme, mostly because of all the special parts and colors you can use in your own MOC's.

If you wanna make a really dull car, with a danish senior citisen, a Suzuki Wagon is what you are looking for

If you see this car on the road, the driver is way above 60, and the speed way belov  We call it a "walker with a roof"

Thanks 'MadManMingo', those images are really handy...the first car is the nicest....I wouldn't do it as a 4 wide....5 to 6 perhaps and to scale with height and wheelbase taken into account.

More still to come.....feel free to make suggestions for any of my creations. :classic:

Hey LT, that bank is brilliant, I like the hinge part used on the atm. For a car how about a little smart car? I think it's kinda european, maybe? Easy enough to do, could have a few. Also, 6 wide for a car might be too wide for my tastes anyways, 5 wide would probably be spot on but a bit harder to do. I always thought 6 wide for vans and trucks was alright but cars too big, IMO.

MMM that Suzuki Wagon, we have it here in England too, alot of oaps driving too slow, if they walked they'd go faster

Thanks 'CptMugwash' for your comments, yeah....a small car, might just scratch up one in LDD first to see how it looks. Oh, dam that minifig, need the wife out of the house to customise a figure. (wife is driving me nuts being off work with a bad shoulder :cry_sad: )

It'll be interesting to see what you come up with as I am planning on designing a similar sized car for my dealership at the weekend. I want to try and recreate a current shape Ford Fiesta.

Cheers

What, you feel self concious building when she's around, or is your Lego a secret hobby, stealthily kept from the light of day?!

Dakar

P.S.- great progress with the bank. A Danish town would be a boon for the city theme, I think.

Thanks for the feedback 'Dakar' and 'rriggs', now I'll include some non-bank stuff here because it's connected and I don't want to dig up topics weeks old.:laugh:

That white tiled boarder is for a garden bed, another w-i-p.

Comments and suggestions always welcome.

More still to come. :classic:

Edit I found a customer for the ATM and a teller for the bank, but screen and torso stickers need to be finalised and printed off.

Yeaaaaa!!!!

It looks really sharp with a lot of danish-ness (is that a word...). Also a nice minifig-chick. Don't now if anyone has told you, but that OK shirt is not way off. The OK gas-company is sponcering a lot of danish sport-activities in our small towns. If you live in a small town or the countryside in denmark, you would propably be using your sparetime in a local sportsclub. Either football, handball or badminton. Every little crack with a little selfrespect has it's own little club.

That busty girl of yours  could easily be a young trainer on her way to teach some little league-raskles. Nice touch :sweet:

Looking forward to see you Dagli-Brugsen in the scenarie too!

Hi LT,

I like your street-diorama very much. It has pretty cool looking and useful details. Especially the bank has some nice addictions, like the cash-machine (you did in LDD) or the interieur. The safe looks cool and cleaner than in #3661 (Bank and Money transfer). It fits well to the scene.

As for the citycars, you could maybe put a typical Ford Focus, an Opel/Holden Astra or any other compactcar to the scene.

Way to go!

Thanks for comments ' Farnheim ' and 'MadManMingo', I'll be working on that car hopefully tomorrow.

Supermarket will be started again next week.....waiting on my review teachers passing my first review in the academy.

Good luck on your review!

Meanwhile I'll drewl over the gigantic amount of bricks that's available now in LDD :cry_happy:

Thanks 'MadManMingo', I'm waiting for Rufus to give it the tick of approval....I have two more sets uploaded to BS and another set only one the camera's memory card.

I have to also buy more sticker paper to finish the bank.....then the supermarket can be restarted.....a flower bed too I need to make by the bank....gotta make it look pretty and Danish right ?

I'm enjoying watching this model grow but here's a question for you - How do you stick your decals to your bricks (like sparnord)? Are they stickers or glued paper? They look great whichever way you do it but how do you get them off again (if you do?)? Do they ruin the bricks you stick them to?

Thanks

Ah, 'rriggs'....glossy 6x4 photo sticker paper, and if I must remove them peal and rub a dab of nail polish remover (be careful which one you use  though).
