Andy D Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 I just noticed how you changed the corridor, the change really shows that the corner area is a corridor for getting into the rooms and allows you to see a glimpse of the corridor. My mini fig wedding couple want to go for a stay at your inn. Good luck! Andy D Quote
Lorentzen Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Yummy - this is outstanding I would buy it - you got my vote :) Quote
Hoexbroe Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Nice job! The inn is genious. First I thought it looked too small, but your interior decoration prrofs that it is okay. The lorry is excellent too! Quote
Dakar A Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Congrats! looking through the posts in the voting thread, I'd say you've got a good chance of winning! Great MOC overall! Dakar Quote
Rame Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 I keep coming back to the truck! So many good things happening with this one. Thanks for making me smile!! Quote
Lorentzen Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 I keep coming back to the truck! So many good things happening with this one. Thanks for making me smile!! Yeah, I totally agree on this. That is one awesome build. But so is the rest of your MOC - and it really fits perfectly with the official sets. Too bad I couldn't give you all five points Quote
Vindicare Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 I think you really captured the spirit of the official sets perfectly. You've got the main building and 2 sub models along side. The interior is great, too. However, forgive me if it's there, I didn't see any light brick, which is a staple in the sets. Good luck in the contest. Quote
Larrynautik Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Nice inn in the vein of the winter village buildings, Lego should made a set like this Quote
Mrcool1804 Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 This is such a perfect build, this could 100% be used by TLG next year! Im sure they watch these message boards and are very jealous! Quote
veelweel Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 Hoi Dix, i'm building an Winter Village, and my wife and i loved your hotel. from the foto's (and partly a model) I made a Stud.io model with a smal twist. I want to know if it's okay when I Upload this model to Bricklink so that others can also have the possibility to make the hotel. Regards, VeelWeel Quote
kokkie20 Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 (edited) @veelweel Would love the model file if possible :) Edited January 1, 2018 by kokkie20 Quote
veelweel Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 @ Kokkie20 no problem, its just 300kb, but I can't PM you (don't know if i can send then this small file), mail is also posible (if it's oke with Eurobricks etiquette). VeelWeel Quote

VeelWeel https://www.bricksafe.com is the defacto gold standard for Lego file sharing. Upload your file there then right click on it to grab the link and paste it into your post here. 10GB free storage. Quote
Klaus-Dieter Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 (edited) That's simply amazing, Dix! If TLG released this one for the Winter Village, I'd immediately buy it! I really like how you captured the exact style from all previour Winter Village houses and vehicles and invented and built a great addition. Edited January 2, 2018 by Klaus-Dieter Quote
veelweel Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 I have uploaded the, by me, build version to https://studio.bricklink.com/v2/build/model.page?idModel=28516 it's a little different than the file send to kokkie ( 2 tiles did not fit) and afcourse the org by DIX Quote
