Yes sorry, ideas come from many sources from the forum... but yes, i have to say that your work is very impressive! Also, as ex-fireman I’m a little bit biased towards fire trucks! This project was parked for a long time and now finally had the time to work on it. Parenthood has taken a lot of my hobby time, I did amend my original post. cheers jaime
January 8, 201213 yr Author Hello Guys, I have uploaded a few new pics from my project. It looks like I´ll be doing some shopping on BL again very soon. I just purchase a brand new 8070 for parts (70 Eur, not bad i thought!) but I’m already short on red pieces... and yes some plates as those ones do not match at all Anyway, the building is moving along, hope you like it... cheerrs. January 14, 201213 yr Author Hi While waiting for some red technic staff from BL, I have started working on the FIRE equipment to be carries on the truck. Here you can see some SCBA bottles and fire extinguishers. I still need to get some firehouses for the back storage cheers
January 14, 201213 yr Very nice. you should add a water pump so you could attach a pneumatic hose and use it as a fire hose. tim
January 14, 201213 yr Author Cheers Hi Tim, I did have a water pump, or at least try to model one from lego parts… Here my water pump… And this is the real one from Rosenbahuer My plan is to put the houses above the pump, like in a real truck Cheers
January 18, 201213 yr Author hello, Got some red pannels from BL, so I can now continue wiht the truck. I uploaded on Brickshelf more pics. cheers jaime
January 18, 201213 yr I really like this classic design. Are you planning to put on some custom stickers? What about rescue shears like this They would fit the scale of your truck, if you use LEGO Pneumatics Edited January 18, 201213 yr by laix

I need to check if I still have some unused pneumatics... For the stickers, that’s the plan, but still need to finish the cabin, and the riggings in the back. cheers Jaime
