It's nice to see that your project is keeping It's momentum and getting finetuned :sweet:!

I really enjoy your new 2.0 version - well done ! The overall look and the level of detail is perfect, and I appriciate that you made it modular. Keep going and also congrats on the feedback from the TLG CUUSOO team :sweet:!

Hello everyone…

Yesterday evening (27/MAR) Simon Pegg was on TV in the Conan show… and they talked about the Winchester!!!!

No kidding! Simon Pegg on TV talking about this MOC! :oh: :oh: :oh:

Check the video here (starts around 3’40”)

Unfortunately they did not show the right picture... but Simon tweeted the CUUSOO link shortly after, the supporter count is rising fast!

...and if you have not done it yet… do as he says and go vote for the Winchester on CUUSOO!

Holy crap, that's awesome! Good show, Yatkuu, we'll show those Minecraft Minions how fanatic SotD lovers can be!

As for the support per view issue, I think people take the "Support" button a lot more seriously - and rightly so - than the "Like" or "+1" button... It means more than just "this is cool" but "I would really buy this". At least, that's how I feel about it. I've seen a lot of cool items on CUUSOO but haven't supported them because I know, when push comes to shove, I wouldn't buy it if it came out. the BttF sets - yes! The Modular Western Town? It's cool, but I already don't buy the CITY Modulars because they're just out of my price range - I'm not going to support the Western version of it because at the end of the day, I'm not going to buy it. I already know that.

I feel like the Minecraft supporters didn't get the full implication of the 'Support' button, but time will tell if it's successful or if that was all a lot of hot air.

The Winchester? You better BELIEVE I'll buy that!

The support has really picked up since this aired on Conan. I watched it get 10 supporters in the few minutes I looked at the page earlier today. I had been disappointed with the low support numbers until now. It's such a great project!

Agreed. I didn't support the minecraft set, but at the price it's coming out as, and knowing some fans, it's a good gift.

I really wish I could have gotten one of the first two sets the released; I guess we may get a chance to buy the Hayabusa.

I'd definitely buy a Shaun of the Dead Winchester Set, especially with the improvements made on it.

I'm really excited about it now; I "liked" it myself and drummed up a bit of support, but it's amazing hitting refresh every few minutes and seeing how quickly it's going up.

I didn't even know about this one until today, but I'd definitely buy it. It's a great looking MOC and would really add to the modular line. I added my support to Cuusoo.

I finally got around to giving you my support, I've kind of been following this thread, but I'm almost never logged in to Cuusoo to support stuff.

I have to admit I'm not very familiar with Shaun of the Dead, but this MOC rocks!

Edit: Just saw five supporters roll in in less than a minute...crazy!

Edit 2: over 5,100 votes now...

I, like many others it seems, was having registration issues with Cuusoo. The idea finally dawned on me to try registering on a different browser, so I dusted off Internet Explorer (had been using Firefox) and the 'sign me up' button was finally clickable. Just a thought for anyone else that was having similar issues.

Now that I've sorted those issues out, support +1 added. Great project.

There definitely seem to be problems with their site. I've been registered forever, but I could never get back in. Finally I tried a different computer, and it worked just fine. Strangely the computer that worked for me was running Firefox. So whatever the problems are they must be tied to certain configurations or versions of browsers.

Great to see this finally getting some support. I'm supporting a few projects, I just hope LEGO doesn't release them all at once!

Ah yes, I remember when this was first featured on the Eurobricks frontpage.

Interesting, I believe your MOC is the fourth ever set to reach 10000 followers on Cuusoo. I know nothing about the franchise, but however the proposal goes, it should be interesting.

Congratulations, I hope this gets turned into a set, would be much better than minecraft, at least!

Actually it is the second, the first two required a much smaller vote count (1000? or 5000?)

It is finally good to see the community getting behind a product, (As well as support from other sources.) to try and make it a reality. Lets hope it makes it through and we can actually buy it.
