I normally build large model skyscrapers, and most of my creations are black or blue. However, colors like trans-black (or smoke), and trans-blue isn't available on LDD. How do I get them?

I usually use transparent tile, plates or windows covering black or blue bricks. But this way not as detailed.

Trans blue is in LDD however trans black is not,if you can not see trans blue i suggest you try ldd extended mode.

The official Lego name for Trans-Black/Smoke is actually Trans-Brown and it is available in LDD Extended Mode.

I see, but its the wrong color.

I'm looking for a darker shade of blue, they call it trans-dark blue on bricklink.

All the transparent colours have a tendency to look too light (IMO) in LDD, the Bricklink colour name Trans-Dark Blue is, however, equivalent to the TLG colour Trans-Blue.

The Peeron Colour Chart is a good reference for translating between Peeron, Bricklink and Lego colour names.
