kabel Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Well, at least you could have asked me whether it is ok to use my village's name, as this is the place where my character, Steen Larsson, is from. But go ahead, I gues there is plenty of room for more folks. Keep in mind though, Helgestorp is set in the forest and more of lumber/carpenter village: Quote

It was just on the map and nobody was using it. Quote
kabel Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 The things is, I'm still in the process of planning it, but go ahead, feel free to roam there and build on my grounds. And if you could get yourself to get some real LEGO, it'd be even better!! Quote
Bricksandparts Posted January 3, 2012 Author Posted January 3, 2012 The group arrives and starts setting up camp. first they set up a temporary tent. then they begin work on the mayor's house and villager housing. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted January 3, 2012 Author Posted January 3, 2012 The group continues building up their village. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted January 3, 2012 Author Posted January 3, 2012 Meanwhile, Cally is building a docking area in shallow water at the coast. What should be added next? Quote
Bricksandparts Posted January 3, 2012 Author Posted January 3, 2012 The dock has been upgraded. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted January 3, 2012 Author Posted January 3, 2012 Comments welcome. But If you are talking in character (As in your character traveled here) just put IC: before each time you do so. Quote
Jakon Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 IC, passing by, I noticed that your little village is a bit lax in defenses, what's with all the raiding bands about, it wouldn't be a bad idea to build a palisade, or tower. Ye ken? Quote
kabel Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 some good ideas already, I like the landscaping for instance. However, I really am not so sure about the ships. They look a little too simple for my taste. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted January 4, 2012 Author Posted January 4, 2012 Helgestorp does not have enough resources to build any stone buildings. If a guild would be willing to trade for some wood. We could probably make a deal. OOC: Others can post ships or resources here. Also, I'll hopefully be upgrading items to high tiers in the near future. Quote

Bricksandparts Posted January 5, 2012 Author Posted January 5, 2012 A palisade is a wooden wall. Whoops... I'll build one soon. Quote
Jakon Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Whoops... I'll build one soon. No prob, :) just read up on castle terms eh? Quote
Gabe Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Nice little village! I especially like seeing the the various stages of progess as it grows. I'm intruiged by the modular base to your "medium-sized boats", it looks like it could be quite versatile. Are you planning to build the village in bricks at any stage, or is going to be LDD all the way? Quote
