DoubleT Posted January 12, 2005 Posted January 12, 2005 Thanx jon :) For a moment i thought i had gone crazy.... had seen pics that wasent there...... But now that i know that they where real....Im one crazy happy Dane. Wow............. great sets........ The Borg..........The Longboat...................... the mini figs.... note the real vikings did not have horns ;) Quote
jonfett Posted January 12, 2005 Author Posted January 12, 2005 No problem DoubleT ;) I really like these sets, the actual sets looks great as do the minifigs but.. I don't know why there are all these bionicle creatures in them? I like the green snake but not the red dragon or the large creature with the fortress. :/ Although, still some great sets! Jon. Quote
sam89 Posted January 12, 2005 Posted January 12, 2005 Jon, where did you get the pics? These look pretty cool, I think Castle fans will be happy. 7015 - The fig is good and are Wolf is good as well I think, but there's nothing else to it really 7016 - The kraken looks good for minfig scale, and the Vikings have crome helmets! 7017 - I think the dragon actually looks pretty good considering it's madel out of Bionicle pieces. 7018 - Definitely my favourite. The boat looks reallly good, there's tons of figs and the Snake looks cool (and it's the least Bionicl-like creature out of the lot) 7019 - Looks a LOT like Fort Legoredo. The creature doesn't have quite as many Bionicle pieces as I thought it did to start with. Quote
Jipay Posted January 12, 2005 Posted January 12, 2005 Some of the beasts are really cool ! What os the best are all those weapons, hammer and armors aswell as new helmets Quote
jonfett Posted January 12, 2005 Author Posted January 12, 2005 Yes jipay, I love the neww beards.. looks kinda like Hagrids but with no head part. And check out the guy with the big hammer in 7019!! Jon. Quote
CopMike Posted January 12, 2005 Posted January 12, 2005 Hi! The names are translated from another language so they might end up with some more catchy name, and I think the boxes are still preliminary because there schedueled for august realese :/ but I reaaly like it so far. I think my army of Storm-, Clone- & Scouttroopers will have some work cut out for them when these magic mushroom (amanita) high & mead ale-drunk guys start swinging ..... :-D copmike Quote
Jipay Posted January 12, 2005 Posted January 12, 2005 Thanks a lot for sharing with us compike ! :) Quote
Luigi Posted January 12, 2005 Posted January 12, 2005 Waow, a good 2005 year is announcing: 7015 : i don't specially like the wolf (prefered the spider in Hp in the same kind) but the guy looks O.k (new helmets new axe *wub* ) 7016 : a basic set too and i don't think vikings went fishing with axes ^^ but 2figs, a nice animal a simple boat : ok... 7018 : Waow Waow Waow : my favourite set, the green serpent is excellent and the boat is lovely, plus it seems to have a lot of minifigs (don't know 4-5-6 ?) It'll be a good addition to the medieval part ... 7019 : we wonder why there is some bionicles here, maybe they went on earth brought by some predators that wanted to have a litte fun with something else than aliens. It looks like a balrog a litte bit but so bionicle that bah ... i wouldn't be at the place of the little guy, even if it's an local hero in the boat :) Too bionicles and big parts in this set for me, maybe i'll but it when it'll be on save. 7017 : we can't see a lot ... seems ok to me It's all (but already a lot huuuum *wub* ) Quote
DoubleT Posted January 12, 2005 Posted January 12, 2005 Well i think the bionicle is there to get the many Bionicle fans to buy theese sets... Quote
jonfett Posted January 12, 2005 Author Posted January 12, 2005 7018 : Waow Waow Waow : my favourite set, the green serpent is excellent and the boat is lovely, plus it seems to have a lot of minifigs (don't know 4-5-6 ?) It'll be a good addition to the medieval part ... Yes, it is the best set IMO! I cannot quite count all the figs either but I am sure there are at least 6+. This will be the one I definately buy, not sure about some of the others. Jon. Quote
sam89 Posted January 12, 2005 Posted January 12, 2005 Yep, the big boat is the best. Probably the only one I'll buy, not that the others are bad. Quote
jindroush Posted January 12, 2005 Posted January 12, 2005 Oh, I like the sets. Don't know why, but I have some positive 'oldschool' feeling when I see them. Something like old Legoland castles (despite all those new Bionicle/KK2 parts). Quote
Jipay Posted January 12, 2005 Posted January 12, 2005 I know how you feel Jindroush, I have the same feeling ! I think I will buy them all and return to castle themes after all those years (kk2 is helping also). This is by far the best accessories theme ever *satis* And I even like the bionicle beast :$ Quote
sam89 Posted January 12, 2005 Posted January 12, 2005 As for the amount of figs in the ship, I can see at least 7, which is awesome :-D Quote
Neverroads Posted January 12, 2005 Posted January 12, 2005 That ship realy does look great... and is that a new beard piece on one of the Vikings on that ship? Casper Quote
DoubleT Posted January 12, 2005 Posted January 12, 2005 yes new wepons and shields etc now the last thing i need is the sets on my table ;) Quote
Orlego Posted January 12, 2005 Posted January 12, 2005 I love the set with the boat and the big green snake/serpent. All of the sets are cool but I could also do without the Bionicle style creatures. I'm sure that with the success of Bionicles, Lego is just trying to cash in. I also get a happy old school feel about these sets, I guess because these sets remind me of the old pirate theme with a little castle tossed into the mix. :-D Quote
