Anybody seen this:

The axes (and warhammers) seem to be made from two parts, a bar (L4 or the other, little bit longer on) and some blade part... This means we will be able to create many different weapons with those, mixing shapes and colors!!! :D

Darkkazmo's style

Dude, I'm really looking forward to it!!!! |-D

Well i hope they are changable the customizing would be interesting, these sets are fantastic when we do a theme of the year poll its going to be really hard to decide unlike last year.

I hope for beads, but printed will be ok as long as they keep the rest. I hope it won't be a "greatest cool proto ever" versus "disappointing real set" thing

One thing that caught my eye was the guy falling out of the longship , i dunno why its just gives me a nice feel of action.

It was pretty hard to choose last year... With no real choices. I was like having to choose your method of execution, electric chair or gas chamber... :D. But seriously, this is shaping up to be a good year. I might have to sacrafice buying the Star Wars III sets to be able to afford the vikings and KK2II stuff.

Then theres all the world city police and fire sets, and the ferrari sets too!

2005 is Lego's year! but also the year of empty wallets! :/ :P

I don't see why Lego would go to the trouble of molding new beards and then not releasing them.

You made a real point Sam, that's also what i'm thinking. Now let's just cross fingers ;)

From what I heard they have '3D printers' for prototyping, so for quick mockup pictures they're great.

This is really the downside of publishing the early prototypes photos - they may give you the false hopes. See the 7249 crane issue, too many people are now saying the LEGO should release the uglier&smaller proto-crane (missing their point anyway *wacko*)

The photos of Vikings most probably come from the newer edition of dealer catalogue, and I have the feeling that at least 4 of the sets will look different. There's no discussion about the last one, the name and picture don't match now at all.

90% probability, that there will be only printed heads.

I don't think you are correct. We can all see that Lego is stepping it up a level or four this year. I think you will have a 90% probability that Lego will make new beards. I think by the end of 05 we will all be a little surprised by what Lego has achieved. You can only loose money for so long until you have to open your eyes and really work to solve the problem. I think Lego had that wakeup call and now they are ready to work.

It's not a bad point the fourth one looks different. Lego suck at doing things the half-good way. I will look at it this way : we have 10% probability to get spankin new beards *satis*

In what way will the sets be different? Let's hope they're not too different, especially the Ship and snake set.
