sam89 Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 I've just realised that we may even see these sets before the American Toy Fair on the 20th, since there's the Nuremberg Toy Fair (in Germany) on the 10th, which usually shows Lego. So if we're lucky we'll see these sets next week :-D Quote
The Middleman Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 HUZZAH!* Hope we do, sam! *improvisational Viking war cry Quote
KimT Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 Any idea when the Vikings will hit the stores and totally ruin me? KimT "Onwards Men!" "Victory is at hand!" -Famous Last Words Quote
Vader Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 It could also depend on where you live, as im sure some countrys will get them before others. Quote
sam89 Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 According to someone on 1000steine, these are the prices: 7015 - 5 Quote
The Middleman Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 Good to see they kept the prices we heard before! As long as the drakar/longboat has 7-10 figs, I'll be buying 4 or 5 of them at that price. :D Quote
sam89 Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 The Longboat has 6 figs according to Mister X. Quote
The Middleman Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 **** **** mother ****ing son of a ***** god **** **** **** Maybe 2 or 3 then. Quote
MattZitron Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 **** **** mother ****ing son of a ***** god **** **** ****Maybe 2 or 3 then. When are the Kabaya sets coming out? AND where will I be able to get them and not pay over the odds. Quote
The Middleman Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 Nobody's sure about release, but our dear friend Mini on Eurobricks operates http://www.ellismodels.com/, and thinks he can get his hands on some Kabaya Viking sets for us. ;) Quote

Luigi Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 Or Pre-pre-pre orders Are kabaya sets cheap (or ?) (I want some fiiiiiiigs *devil* too bad the drakar has only 6 :( :( ) Quote
snefroe Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 why does'nt TLC produce any minifig sets anymore? I used to build my armies with a couple 6-minifig sets, but that's become impossible these days! sure, the star wars licence obviously doesn't allow it, but why should it be a problem for the Viking theme? knowing how popular minifigs are, a set like that should have good sales... besides, the "underground" theme had a minifig set, so there seems to be a profit in it. Well they're almost have with that new Imperial inspection set. TAKE THAT HASBRO!!!! Quote
snefroe Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 tru... but stormtroopers or even imperial guards on a viking ship is not particularly what I had in mind... :D :D Quote
sam89 Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 Are there going to be 3 Kabaya Vikings sets? Hopefully there will be, and hopefully they'll have at least one figure each. That means that if I buy the Longship, the Kabaya sets and the set with the wolf I'll be able to get 10 minifigs for the boat :-D Quote
Luigi Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 but stormtroopers or even imperial guards on a viking ship is not particularly what I had in mind... Hum could be good *satis* lol That means that if I buy the Longship, the Kabaya sets It depends on how much the Kabaya Sets are ... if they were cheap it would be great. I think some of you know (maybe had bought SW sets ?) Quote
sam89 Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 I managed to get the three Star Wars Kabayas for Quote
snefroe Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 i bought 4 kabaya sets (all four of them being number 7423) a year ago. funny thing is that never knew they were "kabaya sets". i just bought them in Antwerp almost by coincidence. 2.5 euro a piece! in fact, some might still be in that shop today... i guess you should watch the shops closely ... and hope you're lucky! MattZitron Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 Well I'm sure someone here will find some and help us all out! :-D Quote
Assassin Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 Has anyone else noticed that the Viking Hammers seem to have vanished from any pictures ? Quote
The Middleman Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 Has anyone else noticed that the Viking Hammers seem to have vanished from any pictures ? I say we launch a Viking-esque assault against LEGO headquarters. Wielding hammers, and wearing beards. Quote
