fhomess Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 No one seemed to have any problem with Ms. Balls...
Tamamono Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 No one seemed to have any problem with Ms. Balls... No, of course not. You, Big Butthole Eskallon, and a few others are very easy to remember.
Eskallon Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 What happens if their is no majority vote and say their was 2 votes for 2 people at a tie? Would they both die?
Tamamono Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 What happens if their is no majority vote and say their was 2 votes for 2 people at a tie? Would they both die? Whoever got to that number of votes first would die, just like in Bloodbrick II. Read the rules.
Hinckley Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Oh and don't worry Fugazi, if you are scum, or even if you are innocent. Flitwick here will be done for too. Since he has failed to bring anything to the table in six days and is a total nutcase. Oh and while I am at it, I would like to point out that our camel friend is also an annoying prick, I have seen next to nothing from him, less than we see from flitwick over there. Why so angry? Chillax, yo!
Fugazi Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Pandora and Rufus, thank you for letting me take part in your wonderful game! This was a thoroughly enjoyable experience thanks to impeccable hosting, beatiful MOCing and your great sense of humour! I look forward to the next installment of 'Hole in the Desert' And go town!

Pandora Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Zepher, thank you so much for playing! (the poo was Ru's idea ) And thanks also to Scubacarrot - hope you also enjoyed playing your first advanced game.

Zepher Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 I was so certain I was finally going to survive. Good luck everyone!
Flipz Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 I'm happy to see that my strategies are well in-line with those of established Mafia players! Twice now players here have used strategies almost identical (to the word!) to the ones I've PM'd to other audience members, and in situations where it's TOTALLY impossible for that information to have passed on somehow. I feel more confident about passing (if not surviving) Mafia School with flying colors now.
Eskallon Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Oh come on KielDaMan, I have never had a problem with your style of play and I see no problem with it. What Tamamono said was damn out of order for a Mafia game and I can understand how you feel though. However we have ups and downs, even in Mafia Games and just because one person doesn't like what you did then that doesn't mean you can't bring yourself back and prove to them how wrong they are. I don't want to see you leave, I haven't played much with you, but what I have seen is that you are an active, interesting and helpful player. I have too said a lot of unpleasant things in the game, but the way I see it is that what happens in one game, stays in the game and we have to move on. I have adopted many different strategies in my 11 games, all different. Some harsh, some soft and none are the right or wrong way to play.

We all lost our tempers at one point or another in mafia. They can't be dwelled on.
def Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 How about we wait till after the game to decide what behaviors are in line, and which are out of line? By the time it's done, people's heads will be cooler, and statements will be less emotion-fueled
Scorpiox Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 I agree with Esky on this one. We all lost our tempers at one point or another in mafia. They can't be dwelled on. I should know, I got angry in Gotham City, but still made a bad scum. You are an active and good player Kiel in the games I have seen you in. Arguments happen. I don't actually hate Def for our in-game argument, so I'm sure nobody actually hates you for what you have said. Don't go Kiel! I love you for killing my whole team alonside def!
TheBoyWonder Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Kiel, you worked with me in Gotham mafia. You were one of the best. Your Tactics are clever, and your insults are part of the game. So stay.
Fred Daniel Yam Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Don't go Kiel, at the end of the day, we're all human and we all make mistakes even in cyberspace. We fight, make up and fight again but it happens. You can't leave based on an issue which can be resolved from a Mafia game. Tammamono might have been outta line and you may leave but eventually one of you has to take that step to reconciliation. Make a formal apology or ask for one and things will snowball.
Fugazi Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 your insults are part of the game. I wish it weren't so. It seems to me like insults have been a much more important part of every game recently. It hasn't always been so, has EB Mafia become too competitive? Friendly insults between people who know each other well are one thing, but nowadays it seems like inexperienced players are quite often the target. I know it can be considered a strategy -- it's just not one I feel comfortable using and I'm not sure I like the tangent our games are taking. EB is supposed to be a friendly place and it seems like roleplay has become an excuse for overstepping the normal limits of acceptable behaviour. And this is not directed at one player specifically, we all know it's a spreading issue. Somehow I feel like repeating myself, I'm sure I wrote something very similar a couple of months ago.
Jedi master Brick Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 I have to agree with Fugazi here. I really would like the insults to calm down a bit. On something nicer i am rally enjoing watching the game so far , the hosting has been brilliant and the prestaintion has been stunning.
Pandora Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 It's incredibly difficult for us to comment until after the game. We really, really wanted this to be a fun and funny Mafia game for everyone, and we're really very disappointed that so many people have been insulted and insulting; in some cases both. On something nicer i am rally enjoing watching the game so far , the hosting has been brilliant and the prestaintion has been stunning. Thank you for your (and others) kind compliments.
