Hinckley Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Thanks. And you two are doing a great job hosting. Very impressive. You know I'll keep following the game... You lame-o. Always dying on the first night.
Professor Flitwick Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 I know I haven't posted yet, but I just had to talk about that first image... "Everything happens for a Reason" - A reference to the television show Lost? I knew it! As a big Lost fan (don't worry, I'll save all the nerd-isms for the conclusion! ), I really like the reference to the season six poster! And the polar bear in the desert! Icing on the cake!
Pandora Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 I knew it! As a big Lost fan (don't worry, I'll save all the nerd-isms for the conclusion! ), I really like the reference to the season six poster! And the polar bear in the desert! Icing on the cake! Glad you like it! We're actually just having a bit of fun with it today because of what you said the other day. We were avid Lost viewers too, so it seemed a natural thing to do for Day Two.
JimBee Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Every game should just have Lost references. They'd be way cooler that way.

And the hatch and the dynamite... Dude, you got...Arnst...on you. Hello? You a fan or not?
Scubacarrot Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 (edited) And the hatch and the dynamite... Dude, you got...Arnst...on you. Hello? You a fan or not? I pointed those things out on my post up the last page as well ;) Edited January 14, 2012 by Scubacarrot
Hinckley Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 I pointed those things out on my post up the last page as well ;) Well, I didn't read that, so there.
Professor Flitwick Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 And the hatch and the dynamite... Dude, you got...Arnst...on you. Hello? You a fan or not? Who the hell is Arnst? I know a Arzt, and he was very adamant it was spelt A-R-Z-T. You may win hands down against me in any Mafia, but you can't out-Lost me.

You may win hands down against me in any Mafia, but you can't out-Lost me. Actually, you are wrong. Hurley doesnt pronounce it right, and he spell it with an N in it. You sir, have just been out-losted!

Professor Flitwick Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Actually, you are wrong. Hurley doesnt pronounce it right, and he spell it with an N in it. You sir, have just been out-losted! Yes, Scubacarrot, that was the joke. Hinck was being a Lost fan by saying Arnst (like Hugo did), and I was being an anal Lost fan by correcting him (like Leslie did).

JimBee Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Guess the only thing left to do would be to figure out what lies in the shadow of the statue... of Imhotep.
Hinckley Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Guess the only thing left to do would be to figure out what lies in the shadow of the statue... of Imhotep. It has four toes!
Professor Flitwick Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Oh, I see. It was a joke. I thought the ' ' gave it away! Guess the only thing left to do would be to figure out what lies in the shadow of the statue... of Imhotep. Ille qui nos omnes servabit.
Flipz Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 You know what Nocturnal Skill this game needs? A Virgin megablocker. That way we can megabluck all the Virgins and take away the Cultist's ability to sacrifice them. Actually, why don't we just megabluck all the virgins right now. Consentually, of course. I'm not a monster. That would be a fun game. Even better, let's dissolve this lynch mob and make it a megabluck mob. We'll nominate the most likely Virgin's and megabluck them. That way, the worst that happens is we have good sex with an experienced non-virgin. That's a fun game. Let me go on the record as saying I can't stand that we have to stop the Cultists from sacrificing certain among us. It's really making this game twice as difficult and is breaking my brain even more than normal. megablock Cultists... *takes notes so as not to make the same mistake in the future...*
Hinckley Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Kudos to Flipz for guessing the end of Harriet's play.
Flipz Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Kudos to Flipz for guessing the end of Harriet's play. Thanks, Hinckley! *takes Kudos* Boy, it's been a while since I've had one of these...omnomnom[/semiobscurejoke] Supposedly the snake's name is Nancy and when it bites the victim it renders that person sane. WTF?? I don't think anything can render anything in this game...of life "sane."
WhiteFang Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Lots of good references being made in Day 2! Brings back lots of past mafia memories too! The whole Zepher PMing me to many players randomly in Day 1 (not this current game), simply made me laughed.

The whole Zepher PMing me to many players randomly in Day 1 (not this current game), simply made me laughed. I love that it's a new term: Zephyring. And I insist that it's spelled with a 'y'. We need an EB Mafia Glossary.
Flipz Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 I love that it's a new term: Zephyring. And I insist that it's spelled with a 'y'. We need an EB Mafia Glossary. Seconded. Any takers on who would compile this? Anyone?
Flipz Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 I've got an idea: 1.) Drop the whole mafia game thing. 2.) Lock Def and Hinckley in a house together. 3.) Record everything on video. 4.) Rewrite everything into a popular sitcom. 5.) ??? 6.) Profit!
XimenaPaulina Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 And here I thought nothing would beat the recent 23-page Opening Day of Gotham City Mafia.... And who would've thought that the Second Day will even be longer (and better) which is currently 24 pages and counting... Truly a testament of how exciting and "hyper"-active this game is! Kudos to all players involved and to our hosts for a great job so far!
