Cryos Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Baradock feels a rush of adrenaline as his towering opponent crashes in the ground, throwing up dust in the air. It wasn't long before a team of clerics and healers swarmed him, and soon after that Baradock was taken under the wave of medics... ................................................ Baradock was heading on his way to the arena gates when he saw his fellow combatant perked up on a wall with his elbows on his knees. His club laying on the ground. He didn't look ecstatic from the results. Baradock extended a hand to help him on his feet, though he was considerably smaller than the yeti.
Dragonfire Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Avalanche rejected the hand. "I'm fine." He slowly got up, wincing at the powerful blow Baradock had dealt him. "Well done. You fought bravely and deserved the win," he said gruffly but kindly, "Not bad for a Level One."
Endgame Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 I strid einto the arena, remvoing my helmet and placing it on a table. With a roll of my shoulders I remove my cape and take off my armor... Underneath was the spindly frame of a skeletal man, wearing nothing but basic clothing. I clutch my bow, cold to the touch and laced in darkness, ready for the impending duel. I, Sorrow (Endgame) challenge Guts Holla (Scubacarrot) to a duel - under the agreed condition of "No Artifacts or Consumables."
Scubacarrot Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Guts walks in, removes his armour, shoes and gloves, and nods to accept the challenge.
Flipz Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 I, Arthur Justus Regulus VII (Flipz), would like to challenge Karie Alderflask (Kintobor) to a duel! Arthur loans his Scrolls and Lens of Speed-Reading to Kintobor for the duration of the fight. His equipped Artifacts will be: Duke's Coat of Arms, Unicorn Helmet, and Zap-Tap Badge. His currently equipped shield and weapon will be: Arm Shield and Sword of the Vampir.
Kintobor Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 Karie accepts Arthurs challenge! Karie catches Arthur's gear, looking through it and putting on the lenses. "How do you read with these things, augh! The magnification is nuts!" Karie will equip the Ethereal Cloak, the Catsuit, and the Lens of Speed Reading. "I should warn you, my weapons may not be enchanted by gems, but they're quite nasty nonetheless." She looks over her new longsword, the strange weapon from the fallen Doppel, and named after him. She was more than antsy to give it a try, but it wouldn't be effective against someone who just handed all their scrolls to her. "You sure you don't want these scrolls, Arthur? I've got a few of my own: one I've been dying to try out, actually."
Flipz Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 "Whatever you'd prefer. Don't hold back." Arthur smirks.
