Well he looks like an idiot to me, but should he be able to prove himself tonight then he might still be worth keeping.

I guess it would be best to wait and see if he uses the action tonight or if he makes up another lame excuse.

And if he forgets again? Second chances are a lot to ask for. Percy and Tomato never got one.

There's also the distinct possibility that Superman is really Bizarro and lying through his teeth.

Originally I doubted if this person could come up with this on their own, but if he/she had a whole team of cultists behind him/her...

Hmm, its a puzzling choice. It seems as if the person is either stupid or scum but if they have something as useful as Mehmet makes out then it would be a great loss if we condemn them and they turn out an innocent. Then again they might be feeding off us as we speak and by now they might already have gotten names of virgins by lying there way into peoples trusts. Its a touch choice.

Did anyone else learn anything last night, I didn't I do have a few suspicions, maybe a bit based on gut but I have a few things to look out for today and hopefully I will be able to come to some sort of conclusion by the end of today.

Percy and Tomato never got second chances? What do you mean, exactly? (forget it if its just flavour.)

What is Bizarro?

In any case, the story about 'forgetting' to send the night action in seems thing, to say the least. Especially since there wasnt a time limit until you could send them in, as far as I know...

Right scratch that last bit, there is.

Tomato never really got a chance to defend himself. Percy was quiet and then was killed at Night.

I'm more confused as to why he basically claims to have the same night action was Roger. Unless there's a side to it you're not telling us, in which case I can completely understand. We did have plenty of time to send in actions, I think, there's no point in forgetting... :sceptic: Still, it doesn't strike me as scummy. Just plain dumb.

Huge is right, does anybody else have anything to bring up? Preferably using codenames to avoid backing the person into a corner where they'll blurt out their action?

I am sorry to be nitpicking, but I have to disagree. Although Tomato did never get a chance to protect himself after the onslaught of waves he got at the end of the day, there were questions and accusations send his way during the day, which he never responded to, as far as I recall.

Although Percy was not the most active people, there were defenitely less active people around, (perhaps including me), Percy did raise some good questions, most notably his suspicion of Mr. Gordon Bennett.

To come back to Percy, why was he killed?

Did he get too close to uncovering scum?

Did he accidentally reveal his virginity to a cultist?

Was it a random kill from the scum?

Are the cultists trying to make it look like it was important, because of Percy's clear suspsicion of Mr. Bennett? Because one could argue that his death gave some suspicion to mr. Bennett...

Thus the whispering in the play... I'm inclined to think it was stupidity. He/she apparently typed it out but didn't hit send or something. :hmpf:

Well, I know that somebody was being blocked. I haven't heard results from the Town blocker, but since there was no serial killing, it's possible the person blocked could be a serial killer.

Forgot to send a night action that can confirm a virgin? I call bs, let's nail the faux man of steel. :hmpf_bad: God (in this case IMHOTEP) knows Father Tomato was lynched for much less than that....

Besides, even if Superman is telling the truth, we won't be losing much since he'll never remember to use the power he's been given.

I urge everyone to remember that Mehmet's list is compiled of CLAIMS, any or all of the roles can be a lie. We have to take every option into account.

I just meant that it wasn't a lot of time.

In any case, it would appear William meant something else.

Also, lynching "Superman" even if he was speaking the truth is better than lynching a person who turns out to be a virgin. Although of course we must prioritize on the people we know to be cultists first.

So raise your hand if you belong to a cult! Anyone?

Precisely. Which is why all info will be kept on the table.

Reminder: It may be easy to hit "Cancel" instead of "Send" if you are in a hurry. Also, your PM box keeps messages you've responded to on top as well as new responses. Since you have 24 hours to get Night Actions in, it may help the town to put the extra effort in to double check that you have sent your IMHOTEP-forsaken action!!!

For now, I'm inclined to believe Superman. He is likely only guilty of being an absolute fucktard.

I can compile a list of people I find suspicious based on private communication or lack thereof. The only problem is as people are added to the alias list, it may become more and more obvious who has what skill. Perhaps I can update it at certain times so people don't check time zones, etc to figure out who is being added to the list and when they logged in, when they were seen using personal messenger, etc...

Does anyone see a danger in me compiling a list of suspects based simply on private communication? I could wait until I've heard from everyone with claims.

I do find it interesting that the one public conflict we saw with Percy revolved around Gordon Bennet. Maluflous is right. It could be Bennet wanted to silence Percy's suspicions and it could be that the Scum wanted to incriminate Gordon. Or the Scum wanted us to think that someone would try to incriminate Gordon and therefore...

You're right. This also makes me wonder if we should even vote at all without solid evidence against someone... Of course, there's always the risk of the cultists voting someone out in the last minute, but on the other hand that would expose them... But at this point we (or at least I) don't know if we even have a vigilante on our side, which on the worst case scenario would mean that if we don't vote, the cultists win by default.

Ugh, what a mess! :hmpf:

I don't think the cultists would risk that, unless of course they could win by lynching one more virgin. So I guess that means that we absolutely need to vote on the later days to prevent the cultists from pulling something tricky at the end of the day. Although, we certainly do not want to be on the defensive, because that just makes it easier for the cultists to roll over us.

First red flag of the day!

Superman forgot to send his Night Action in. :hmpf:

I will write a play detailing my interactions with this individual. Superman, please defend yourself to me by PM only! Revealing yourself, if you are what you say you are, would be detrimental to the Town. But so is "forgetting" to send your Nocturnal Activity request in. :wall:

Oh my God. :hmpf:

What is Bizarro?

Bizarro is an 'evil' superman. William probably meant that Superman could very well be lying.

Thus the whispering in the play... I'm inclined to think it was stupidity. He/she apparently typed it out but didn't hit send or something. :hmpf:

Seriously!? :wall: It's an easy enough mistake to make, but still, that kind of stupidity is exactly what the town (camp?) doesn't need.

Hold your horses, Jen. Superman may be an idiot, but that doesn't automatically make him scum.

Yes, Tomato was lynched for much less than that, but remember, Tomato didn't didn't claim an action (as far as I know). If he had, there would have been a lot more to consider before we voted him off.

Dammit, God listed all the win condition, so the Easter Eggs are now pointless. :hmpf_bad: So, I broke a rule. So what? The rule should be null and hosts should know not to structure our role PMs so they could be used to our advantage. Silly hosts. :hmpf_bad: Well, I'm just kidding. I'm enjoying this hole in the desert as much as, if not more than, other holes in the desert I've been in. But the silly goofs did misspell 'fulfill'.

It looks like Melifluous is correct though. The cultists do appear to have a certain number of virgins they need to kill to win. It's been left out for our knowledge. Sorry I didn't see it before. I wonder why we can't know the number. :cry_sad: It would certainly help us know how much time we have and help us prepare our Nocturnal Skills...

To keep everything out on the table, I'm going to let you guys know who has claimed to me. I will protect their identities and give their results as long as they trust me to. That way, we have transparency without having to put our important people at risk.

List of claimed roles

I'm quite confused as to why people are coming to you and revealing their information. If you ask me, one thing I've learned in my travels is to not trust anyone.

You're right. This also makes me wonder if we should even vote at all without solid evidence against someone... Ugh, what a mess! :hmpf:

I don't think we should not vote. If the cultists can kill at night, (which they can, I assume, because a vigilante wouldn't sacrifice someone), then they'd just pick us off over the course of a very long time. I'm not saying that we should vote for the first immediate exposure, I'm saying that we should carefully review whatever we've learned or seen and then make a decision off of that. Hastiness and indecisiveness causes innocent deaths, and we can't afford that.

Also, that play is a bit revealing I suppose. I'll wait for some more information about this Superman.

So let me get this straight: the innocents with night actions are not virgins, and none of the virgins have night actions. So those two roles are mutually exclusive, right? Now, has anybody been contacted by a person claiming to be both a virgin and having a night action yesterday? Because that person is obviously lying, we can determine that much. Since we can't take anything for face value, even if there is a person like that it would not warrant for an immediate lynch, but it would give us another hint of someone we should not trust.

Well if you think that is basis enough for a lynch, then Nadir thinks you should reveal that person. As far as something like that, Nadir has not received any messages claiming to be both a Virgin and having a night action.

From what's been said since Day 1, it seems that being virgin also entails that one is night action-less. That would make sense to Nadir since vanilla flavored people would be the ones in the cross-hairs, freeing up those with other roles.

This may be our best lead. Nadir believes this Superman's story, since Nadir is sure we've all put ourselves in the shoes of someone who forgot to perform their action. Besides, Superman could've just claimed to target someone he didn't if he was a Cultist.

It could be they were convinced by his active behavior on Day 1.

Something...instinct...tells me that it's not uncommon for this to happen, however, though we didn't have someone confirmed or extremely highly likely to be Townie Yesterday. Maybe people just thought it was a good thing to do, not realizing that without something such as, say, a person being confirmed Town by the hosts on Day 2, it wasn't as smart a move as they thought it was.

In British English, as opposed to accursed American English, it is spelled "fulfil".

Don't worry, I'm telling them the same thing. I'm not revealing any information to anyone. Nobody needs to know all of the specifics. My allies only know who I am in the list. And of course, who they are.

Hey Nadir, she doesn't have the info to reveal. I do. And nobody, so far, has claimed to be a virgin and have a night action. What hole in the desert are you paying attention to??

Nothing specifically. I probably just toed the line a little trying to confirm people as Innocent... :innocent:

Well, now at least we know that Mr. Fitzdef was right about the cultists' win condition.

Take this with a grain of salt, and it's not necessarily aimed at you, but... No shit! :wall: Seeing the Scum win condition, they had no clue of the term Virgin, simply reference to pure ones. So, any hypothesizing that I was a scum member trying to reveal the scum winning condition to town on day one ( ) was just utter bollocks.

But, what was absolute common logic to me (that a person behaving as I did was clearly not scum), ended up making me the lead candidate for being voted out, and made me have to reveal my role to get off the lynch.

I'm sorry to cause you all so much trouble :sadnew:

Well, he did harass me for all of day one, before leading a lynch on me, forcing me to reveal my Virgin status, before switching his vote eighteen times, before settling on a different Virgin to lynch. I think his Innocent status has been perfectly confirmed by this point :ugh: Haven't you sent him all your information yet? :snicker:
