John31388 Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 I don't know about the whole series but I personally love all the warriors that have been made so far and if they continue in the series i would love to see a Templar knight, and maybe a middle eastern knight, or maybe a new forest men. Dakar A Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 15. Musician with trumpet W/ French Horn (Lego already has a trumpet, plus a horn would be much cooler!) Dakar Quote
KyleJohnson11 Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Hockey player helmet, visor, and armor in a different color with a new football piece. Oh trust me, I'm banking on a football player for Series 8. If not, I've always got this guy :) http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/1471 Quote
Klaus-Dieter Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 2. Boy with new hair-mold on surfboard 3. Basketball Player with basketball 11. Kid with paintball gun, cap 12. Female Bycliclist with bycicle Oh, these are really good ideas, GeluNumber1! I completely forgot that TLG should indeed include some kids in the series. I mean: Lego is mainly for kids. So it's completely weird that in seven series of minifigures there's only one kid (red cape from series 7). Apart from that some more everyday minifigures would be great to offer a bit more variety in torso, hair and face design. Klaus-Dieter Quote
Mr. Elijah Timms Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 (edited) The Big Bad Wolf dressed as Grandma... Red Riding Hood in 7, BBW in Series 8. Not that I want it to, but it's GONNA HAPPEN Edited February 9, 2012 by Mr. Elijah Timms Quote
vexorian Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 (edited) To be honest my excitement about CMs has been fading. Mostly because of how difficult it has gotten to feel the contents in series 5. I am getting discouraged of trying to get more series considering all the amounts of money I have spent so much in series 5 and I have still not seen a single gladiator (to complete my set). Tons of zoo keepers though :/ And there are already two other series to fill my bills. That's a lot of bloat. I am starting to think it would be best if there much were less figures per series or much less series. Edited February 12, 2012 by vexorian Quote

Pennas2000 Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 Mine will be wishful thinking. So my guesses will be either 16 Superheroes or 16 Lotr minifigs. Yeah I know never gonna happen. Quote
Walter Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 I'll throw a couple out there! I haven't read the previous posts, so some of you may have already thought of these. Maybe a salty old sea captain, that'd be pretty cool, right? Some kind of old styled Swiss mountain climber! Complete with gear. I'd love to see that. A french man with a loaf of bread... An affordable and easier way to get a bread piece. Maybe a fairy too! Some form of fairy would rock, and it wouldn't cut into the LoTR theme because there's not really any fairies in there. She'd probably be minifigure scale, but I'm fine with that. There's just a couple ideas from me. Hope we get some of them eventually! Quote

LEGOman273 Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 (edited) trying not to stray too far off topic but just to add that in toy story they made a whole soldiers set Please let's not have this discussion again. It was a license, and (I don't know for sure, as I have not watched the movie) they were not portrayed as fighting eachother. Edited March 2, 2012 by LEGOman273 Quote

tazosaure Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 After getting the Karate Master's gold trophy in series 2, we got a bronze trophy with series 3 Sumo Wrestler and eventually a silver one with series 4 Soccer Player. Seeing the series 7 Swimming Champion's gold medal makes me fairly confident we'll have some kind of athlete rocking a bronze or silver medal in series 8. (It also makes me fairly hopeful for a series 9 so that we can collect all medals ) Since the trophy holders were all male, I would love the medal bearers to be all females (it would be only fair ) I also think it's likely that the medal bearer whomever it is will be competing in a sport that doesn't offer much opportunity for any other accessories (just like the trophy holders in their time), like maybe a basketball or some kind of runner or gymnast. Otherwise like others have posited, it's good to look at potential pairing with already released minifigures for clues: I think we can expect the skier to be paired up with his female counter part at some point, The sailor (and the fisherman) are still missing a sea captain/shipmaster, Even though I'm not particularly found of the fishing rod, I could see the fishermen crowd begin joined by a fly fisher (catching a different kind of fish hopefully), etc (I'm hoping however that the skateboarders sub-theme has been beat to death enough and that we won't see anymore...) Anyways, I'm quite impatient to see what TLC has in store for us this time! Quote
General Magma Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 1. S.W.A.T. Cop (with a larger fire-weapon and a shield) 2. Reggae Artist (dark skinned figure with dreadlocks and a microphone, like Bob Marley) 3. Medieval Knight (either with a black falcon emblem, or something along the lines of a hawk in brown/dark brown) 4. Goblin (small figure with green (or sand green) skin color, with molded and bald head OR hairpiece with long ears) 5. Nomad (in somewhat of a Mongolian style) 6. Pirate (just a generic pirate with a cutlass and maybe a bottle of rum or a telescope) 7. Scarecrow (could just be a standing figure with a face, like something you'd see in a cartoon, or an actual scarecrow with a stand to be held up, but the first would work (either cartoony or scary then)) 8. British Soldier (1700s era - this figure would have a special wig piece with a tricorner hat on it, new printing and also printed legs (like a renewed redcoat)) 9. Man in Dog Costume (much like the gorilla and others, but this time a dog with long, hanging ears and a big nose) 10. Hunter (old-style, a little bit like the guy from Looney Tunes - rifle and dark tan clothing, maybe dark brown boots printed on the legs) 11. Basketball Player (with basketball and printed legs as well) 12. Sea Captain (figure with beard in yellow clothes OR a more modern version with white hat, dark blue clothes, etc.) 13. Underground Miner (perhaps a bit futuristic in a way that serves as a nod to Rock Raiders (a bit like the Axel figure?), perhaps he could have the RR logo printed somewhere) 14. Old Grandpa (figure with a beard, glasses, a walking stick and something typical that aged men would wear as clothing these days - maybe a bingo card as another accessory) 15. Space Gangster (new alien figure with bag of money, perhaps some sort of a hat, a coat (preferably black clothing) and a laser gun) 16. Acrobat (something that would fit in with the other circus figures) ~ General Magma Quote
