sam89 Posted January 12, 2005 Posted January 12, 2005 They sound pretty good. I'm looking forward to seeeing how they do the dragon. Quote
The Middleman Posted January 12, 2005 Posted January 12, 2005 Refined: 4762 Saved from the Merpeople 4766 The Cemetery Duel 4767 Harry and the Hungarian Horntail 4768 Durmstrang's Ship Odd, I wonder why Durmstrang's ship is on there, it never played a really big part in the book. Now, I see a gap of 3 sets in there, and I seriously doubt they'll leave it at four sets for Goblet of Fire. I expect Yule Ball, the Maze, and, if they're doing Durmstrang's ship, the Beauxbaton Carriage. Quote
Athos Posted January 13, 2005 Posted January 13, 2005 Only four? That doesn't seem right. The ship could be good. I'm looking forward, as you all know, to the merpeople set. Cemetary duel could be good too, but will be somewhat ruined by the flesh tones. Wormtail's silver hand could be a good addition though. They sound pretty good. I'm looking forward to seeeing how they do the dragon. Sadly, I imagine it will be a lot like that. But hopefully Lego will surprise me, and prove me wrong. Steve Quote
The Middleman Posted January 13, 2005 Posted January 13, 2005 Cemetery duel won't be ruined - Death Eaters have black hoods with black masks and Voldemort has a totally white face with slitted red eyes. ;) And yeah, I think the Horntail will look like that, unfortunately (why else make totally custom dragon pieces?) Quote
jonfett Posted January 13, 2005 Posted January 13, 2005 Thanks for the new DoubleT. I would love to see what other sets there are but these sound great, ecspecially the Hungarian Horntail set! Jon. Quote
medib Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 I'm seriously looking forward to a Quidditch set that is compatible with the NHL/NBA/Football (Soccer) Challenge platforms. We already have a quidditich practise set, why not a quidditch pitch. I would also like a couple of tent "sets" that were in the section of the Quidditch world cup. Maybe a small set about the Goblet of Fire. Also, where Harry is in the Prefect Washroom with Moaning Myrtyl (as long as it was PG rated) ;) Though a graveyard scene sounds cool, as do the Ship and the duel with the Horntail. :') Ben M. Quote
The Middleman Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 'Naked Harry minifig' - the new LEGO controversy! :P I don't think we'll get a Moaning Myrtle scene (what a pity), but I really hope we'll get a Quidditch pitch for the World Cup. Quote
Brickmaster Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 These sets seem interesting. Only 4? they will probobly make more. I look foreward at what they will look like, but i most likely wont get any. Quote

cinema27 Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 wonderful!! A ship and a cemetary. I am looking forward to the 2005 sets. Quote
CaliABBAfan Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 I hope that they make the main maze from the book, the quidditch world cup championship and possibly some with Rita Skeeter and Mad Eye Moody figures as well. I would also like to see Yule Ball scenes because it's an important part in this movie. Quote
medib Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 yeah, just what we need, some "Wierd Sisters" minifigs.... :-D Quote
The Middleman Posted January 30, 2005 Posted January 30, 2005 Price predictions: 4762 Saved from the Merpeople ($15-$20) 4766 The Cemetery Duel ($40-$50) 4767 Harry and the Hungarian Horntail ($30-$40) 4768 Durmstrang's Ship ($20-$30) Based on box sizes. Quote
sam89 Posted January 30, 2005 Posted January 30, 2005 Hmm, my guesses would be: 4762 Saved from the Merpeople - Quote
The Middleman Posted January 30, 2005 Posted January 30, 2005 Thanks ;) I love Lego Harry potter :$ Yeah, it's a pretty good castle theme, and we get some great specialized pieces with them. :D Quote
christopher110 Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 This is what I've got from Bricksworld (lego exclusive shop in Singapore): 4762 Rescued from the Merpeople S$45.90 4766 Graveyard Duel S$79.90 4767 Harry and the Hungarian Horntail S$79.90 4768 The Durmastrang Ship S$119.90 For your information 1US Dollar is approximately S$2 Quote
The Middleman Posted February 1, 2005 Posted February 1, 2005 So 20 40 40 60... the only reason I said less for Durmstrang's ship was because it doesn't play a large part in the book. Jeez. Hopefully they don't change the movie too much. Did you see what the sets look like? Quote
sam89 Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 He saw waht the Viking sets look like, so maybe he did! :-D Quote
christopher110 Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 I've no clue at all about those 4 sets. The catalogue displays 4 black boxex.... that's all. I'm as curious as anyone here. Hopefully somebody will have the pictures and post them here. Play on :) Quote
christopher110 Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 One more thing: I was a bit disappointed that no new building for year 2005. The set that I most anticipate is the Dumstrang ship. I can't stop myself to keep on imagining how will it look like... ... I re-read the book of Harry Potter 4, tried to figure out the Dumstrang ship... ... too little clue... ... yup, it's not that important in the story. Play on :) Quote
Ryan Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 Dose any one have any clue in when these set will become available? *satis* Quote
jonfett Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 I don't think we have had any leaked news about the release date yet, but I expect them to be released the same time as the 4th movie.. so hopefully around July. Jon. Quote
The Middleman Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 The new movie is coming in November (18th, to be specific) and the sets are slated for September, according to www.legomarkabolt.hu. Quote
